MIMARU SUITES Tokyo ASAKUSA

Spacious and clean, with two bedrooms, kitchen, and a comfortable living area. Good sound insulation. Nice views of Skytree. Very conveniently located next to Matsuya Ekimise and near the Ginza Line for travel. Location in Asakusa also ideal.

It was spacious, the kitchen was well equipped and the laundry machine in unit was convenient. The location is also very convenient. We will be staying again in April.

It didn't feel as clean. It needed a really good vacuum especially the sofa.

I liked that the staff was particularly helpful. Restaurant reservations, small appliances for t h e unit and even taking to drivers in Japanese for us!

It was right beside the train tracks so for light sleepers, this may be a bit of a nuisance. But to be fair the trains are not that noisy and if the windows facing the tracks are closed, noise is very minimal.

Property was very close to the train, markets, temple and lots of restaurants. Wonderful part of town, heaps of food and shopping in the market streets. The Ginza train line starts from Asakusa and goes to the middle of Tokyo this was so handy for daily trips. The 2-bedroom apartment was great, heaps of room, 2 bathrooms and the master had heaps of room. Lounge was a bonus and a washer/dryer machine much appreciated, cycle took a while but grateful to get washing done. Had an amazing view of the Tokyo tower which looked stunning at night.

Property had everything we needed

The location is super nice - just a few minutes walk to the temple and the view is amazing. The people working there are super friendly and the rooms are clean and spacious. Definitely was nice to have a living room area when traveling with friends.

I think a lot of the people staying here are foreigners so we are use to bigger pillows. I would suggest updating the pillows to be a bit bigger cause two tiny ones made it hard to sleep comfortable sometimes.

great staff, very kind helpful and friendly. the location is good for families very close to some of the main tourist spots and the subway. the room was very spacious comfortable and clean. seriously better than we hoped for, also full of amenities. one of the bedrooms had a view of the tokyo sky tree which was very nice. even tho it’s also looking out to train/tram and can be a little noisy when the windows are open, the soundproofing is great that you dont hear a peep with the windows closed. the kitchen had everything and they were more than happy to accommodate if you were to ask for more kitchenware. everything was thought of even for our 2 year old. would recommend %100 especially to families and definitely would stay again.

Little expensive for what you get. This is simply apartment style hotel. No restaurants or amenities. Needs Netflix access, very limited tv.

The location is very close to Asakusa station and tourist sites like Sensoji shrine and Nakamise dori. Behind the hotel there is a konbini. The room is very large compared to other hotels in Tokyo. And we love to stay here because they offer two-bedroom suite which is ideal for a family. Looking out the window and we can see the Tokyo Skytree (quite big, since it is nearby) and the Sumida River.There is a pantry with electric stove and cooking utensils, and they also provide a washer/dryer machine in the room, very useful when you are with small kidsThe staff is very helpful, they even helped us in calling some restaurants to make reservation and also to book a taxi to the airport.Mimaru Suites will be our first choice the next time our family travels to Tokyo.

Loved our first time at Mimaru properties. Family friendly with kitchenette and laundry in room! Loved the location, close to transit and restaurants! And walkable to Sensoji!

Rooms got stuffy. Only one toilet for 4 people.

The location was great and convenient to the train station! Asakusa in general is a little further from the center of Tokyo so some rides did take 45 - 50 mins, with at least 1 transfer, but it was manageable. The kids enjoyed sleeping in the tatami room, and the 2 bedrooms were very comfortable. The in-room washer/dryer combo was VERY convenient. Loved putting a load in to wash in the AM before leaving, and coming back to a dry load!

No hand soap in the extra toilet room.

It is so clean, there are two bedrooms and two bathrooms and two toilets. The showers are walk-in showers, so great for the elderly not having to climb in and out of bath tubs. There is a huge washer-dryer combo and they also provide detergent. Everything has multilingual instructions. The apartment is also beautifully soundproofed and the finishings are all of extremely high quality and excellent workmanship. No mouldy corners anywhere! And the water pressure and hot water in the shower is second to none. There is a tv projector system in the living area too, with Netflix and Apple TV on it. This area is excellent too. Down the street is a convenience store. One more block away is Starbucks. Cross the road from there is Nakamise Shopping Street and a heap of restaurants and bars. At the other end of the shopping street is a bunch of shopping centres. To top it off, the front desk staff are exceptional. Friendly, welcoming, helpful and kind. We came back from a day of shopping one time with our hands full and trying to find our keycard to tap the elevator. The front desk staff came running up with her keycard and tapped the elevator for us.

Good location. Staff was very friendly. Wish I would have known you could request a sky tree view ahead of time!

Wish the rooms with the table had a sitting area like a couch that was more comfortable than hanging out at a table.

We love this area of Tokyo and my sister and I were traveling with her two children. Mimaru is excellent for families and those craving a little more space in their accommodation. The staff are helpful and so kind and the location is incredible.

The washer/ dryer unit takes a bit to figure out but once you get the hang of it it’s great

The staff were incredibly nice and accomodating. We were a group of snowboards and had all our gear delivered from Niseko. They brought the gear to our room and helped us ship it all to the airport at the end of our stay in Tokyo. Clean spaces, great location. We would definitely stay here again. The suite was tight for 6 adults, but definitely enough space. There was ample storage space to store luggage and 6 snowboard bags.

Laundry machine is a washer/dry combo that isnt very great but it got the job done. It performed on par with other combo machines we have used.
