MIMARU TOKYO IKEBUKURO

2 bathroom & 2 toilet & 2 bed room this is the best part.

The Staff was the highlight. I brought my 2 year old with me and they Made sure to take care of us.

The Beds were super stiff pillows were soft but i was waking up with back pains. This was my only issue though.

The room size

The staff holding you for late check outs even your willing to pay and they inform you from the start you should pay extra. Which we were willing to pay.. every-time we went they said come back one day before or the day of check-out and on the day, they bring reasons..If they don’t like you they will not accept.. i checked in booking.com they have more than 7-8 available rooms, so it was not fully booked!

We loved how family friendly this location is, we were bringing our 8 months old baby with us and could not have picked a better place. we chose the apartment and getting supplies was convenient as there is a family mart just <2 min away walk and 7-11 within 5 min walking distance. The neighbourhood was quiet but not too isolating and within close proximity to ikebukuro. There was also a halal Gyumon also <7 min walk which makes it uber convenient. In terms of luggage, the hotel manages it own same day delivery transport as well as Yamato services too. There was a money changer onsite as well. what made us feel right at home, eventhough there was a washer dryer, there was a washer dryer floor WITH a kids play area which made it so convenient to do laundry with a little one at bay!The staff also gave us some baby friendly ameneties such as a baby bath tub, baby cot etc.

honestly, nothing. We stayed in 5 different accomodations during our 2 weeks in Japan and this by far exceeded our expectation. Good contender against some luxury hotel even.

Staff were great..Woke up to a Veiw of Mt Fuji on the first day when I went to get coffee..The area was interesting, we enjoyed it.It’s worth it.

Not a lot.. next door room was a bit noisy a few nights but nothing to blow up about.

The sleeping area and dining area are separated, but not fully closed — more like two connected spaces. When a baby is sleeping, it means the whole room needs to stay dark and quiet.

The room was bigger than most Tokyo hotels. My family of 6 can stay in 1 apartment hotel with 2 bathrooms. Place was convenient and near a family mart and restaurants. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Not enough hooks for towels and clothes.

Love the amenities esp the laundry and kids corner! Great location only 10 mins away from the stations!

The beds were a little too hard for my liking.

The rooms were a great size and perfect for a family.

The room we booked had futon mattresses(we didn’t see that in the description of the room type when booking) and we found these to be incredibly uncomfortable being used to western mattresses. We would also have liked a small dresser for clothes storage that don’t require hanging.

Quiet and comfortable. Two supermarkets a few minutes away and a short walk to Ikebukuro station/the Tobu department store and Sunshine city.

The restaurants in the area outside the property were of variable quality. We ended up eating at the restaurants at the Tobu department store.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was near to many shops, eateries, and walking distance to the train station. Lots of room for our family.

The apartment style accommodations were perfect for our family of 5. The registration staff was wonderful!After an early arrival, it was ideal to check in early for a nominal fee. The location was excellent, close to transportation and dining options. Having 2 complete bathrooms was a bonus!

Staff is very helpful and can speak English! Efficient Service.

Can arrange refund faster due to Typhnoon in HK and we delay our check in for one day.

So much space! We were so surprised with the amount of space. We are a family of 4 with two teenage boys. We had a top floor 2 bedroom 2 bath, with Kitchen and living room. For Tokyo the amount of living space was amazing! Even Don Quixote is 3 blocks away! Staff was super friendly and helpful. They helped me book my taxi/van to Narita. Also, we travelled from Kyoto so they received my shipped luggage a day early and delivered it to my room before we checked in.

Not much draw back. There is no restaurant which is not that big of a deal since there is a kitchen. It does get busy during checkout. The location is about 10 minute walk from JR which isn't that bad. Neighborhood is a normal Tokyo area. Seems sketch at first but felt very safe as you got the lay of the land.
