    Pros +

    • Location was great. Private accommodation was nice, shower was great.
    • I like it because it is close to the SkyTree and can move around Asakusa. The room is so comfortable and on the first day I nodded to sleep. The bathroom is so clean. I spend time just one day in this room. I would come here for more days to stay.
    • Extremely friendly staff. Location is amazing for folks looking to be closer to Asakusa and Sky Tree. Probably the best hostel in Japan. Would highly recommend

    Cons -

    • We didn¿t realize until after we booked that the train goes right above the hostel, but it stops running from 11 pm to 5am and was much quieter than we expected. If not for jet lag, I probably wouldn¿t have noticed it at all.
    • Only the amenities to pay if required like toothbrush, toothpaste. So I avoid that. Breakfast you have to get something from outside and eat inside if needed. Otherwise overall is great.
    • Not enough time getting to know the staff and being able to hang out

The staff felt like friends you hadn’t seen for a long time. Super close to3 Nichiren Shoshu Temples; Hongyoji, Josenji, and Myoenji. Will stay there again!!!

Not enough time getting to know the staff and being able to hang out

The property was really conforming and cozy. The lobby was quite welcoming and the staff were friendly!

Loved it all. As a hostel you get what you paid for and this was a great experience for what I paid.

Nice and unique location. A hostel under a train tracks! That’s pretty cool I think!

Maybe they need to add more common bathrooms

    10MinhPosted on: 12-18-2025

Amazing view, nice bar, cleanliness was not an issue. Super super nice location since its near everything you wanted for a Tokyo trip.

I just wish there is a sortable trash bins at the ground floor but thats okay.

    Great location and friendly staff

Lack of comfortable chair for work time

    9DavidPosted on: 12-5-2025

Been there a few times like location, people, shower set up.. I’ll be back in spring

A little more comfortable sitting in common room. The thin cushions on ply wood benches not a place to relax after all day walking. Maybe coffee in morning, not at 11

    10CameronPosted on: 12-3-2025

Easy to find, friendly staff that explained the hostel. Guests were all respectful and quiet. Each bunk has a personal light and wooden security box plus a cubby.

I loved everything about this place! I wish when we came back from Osaka that we would have stayed here again. I'm definitely going to stay here next time I come! It's in a really convenient place, the train station is right down the street and the sky tree, which was my personal favorite to look upon was literally RIGHT THERE! So it's a win win. And the fact that there's that little water passage way right next to the Hostel makes it so lovely to look at in the morning when you first get up. The staff are all super nice and I really love that the bathrooms are separate by gender and the space that you have in the showers is really nice. They have a place where you can put your clothes outside of the shower and space to change into them. I also liked the bunk bed style with a curtain instead of two walls so you don't get that trapped feeling if you're a claustrophobic person. Everything was clean and they had shampoo and conditioner plus body soap so don't worry about needing to buy it.

The only thing I wish was different was how big the personal locker was, just wish it was a tad bigger but still super convenient to have!

Sure, you can point out the incredible location (walking distance from Asakusa and Skytree), the well designed building, the clean and extensive facilities, and the respectful guests. Or the cheap prices, comfortable beds, and quiet environment. But what stood out to me about this hostel is the staff. This is the only hostel I have stayed in where the (mostly local japanese) staff were more enthusiastic about hanging out and exploring the city than the travelers. They are just so incredibly friendly and passionate about their job that it has become somewhat of an attraction for many regulars at the hostel (THEY ARE SO POPULAR THAT YOU CAN COLLECT MERCH ON EACH STAFF). Seriously, if you are planning a trip to Tokyo, try out this hostel. I am just at awe with how much fun I had at this hostel. To all the staff, thank for making my trip such an incredible one.

Very comfortable beds, cleanly facilities, and friendly staff.

The location is a bit separated from the city, but that makes it good in a way also.

    9EasonPosted on: 11-1-2025

I liked the location. It was right on a river and had a nice atmosphere. It was also close to the station and Skytree. The staff was friendly. They had some events on some of the days.

There wasn't much allocated room for luggage in the dorm room. Most people just had to put their luggage in random spots around the room which was easy to bump into when the lights were out. I also wish there were more casual events going on

Beautiful, chill, great location, awesome staff, cozy atmosphere, comfortable bed, clean kitchen and bathroom and toilet.

The AC smells not good. We needed to turn it off to stop the smell. But the staff was trying so hard to make us feel better.

    10RenanPosted on: 10-27-2025

It was very spacious, also the beds or you can call them capsules were very spacious. The beds were also comfortable and clean. They have large bathrooms with lots of showers so you won't wait long for your turn. Mostly never depending on when you go to bed because people stay out late in Tokyo usually. There's also a family mart right next door. The subway is about 5 minutes away or the station in the skytree which is also a few minutes away, practically above the hostel.

The hostel has a train track on its roof practically. So it can get loud but if you're on the first floor or if you get earplugs, which were provided to us for free I guess its okay. Expect snoring though as a lot of people can fit into the dorm

    8NiclasPosted on: 10-26-2025

The lobby area felt nice and welcoming

You could hear the train a little bit, but with earplugs it’s no problem

    9ChloePosted on: 10-25-2025

Wonderful location, great hotel lounge ambiance, homey kitchenette area.

Perhaps having clearer expectations for luggage/personal space listed would be nice. It’s good I could still ask and clarify about it beforehand, so it’s not too big of an issue. :)
