    Pros +

    • Quiet location. Close to train station, supermarkets and convenient stores. In room washing machine, Kitchen with large fridge.
    • I especially appreciated the drying vent in the bathroom, it was convenient to wash clothes in the in-unit washing machine and then dry them right there.
    • Our room had its own washing machine, fridge, hob and microwave. It even had a balcony. Really wasn't expecting all that in our own room.

    Cons -

    • No negative comments.
    • We asked the hotel if they did luggage forwarding, which is commonplace in Japan, and they said they didn't - it is also a 10 minute walk from a subway and you will *need* to get a subway, but both minor points, as was otherwise a lovely stay.
    • The walls were dirty and sticky in some places near the entrance and hallway. One of the beds was very creaky. The pillows were a little too soft.

Nice stay in a quiet neighbourhood, with supermarket nearby and a reasonable walk to both Senso-Ji/Asakusa (20-25 mins), but also the subway (10 mins).

Mattresses were firmer than most hotels, location to train was convenient, provided a very good supply of fresh towels and toiletries and garbage bags. Owner answered all our questions patiently. The kitchen was well stocked for convenience store foods. The laundry machine in unit was very quick and nice to have for small loads.

The walls were dirty and sticky in some places near the entrance and hallway. One of the beds was very creaky. The pillows were a little too soft.

Nice little hotel in a quiet area of Tokyo. Would visit again, it's a good value for money at this time of the year (April).

Staff very helpful. Washing machine in room and only 5 minutes walk to 7 11 for powderToilet tony but had drier facilities for washing

it was in a great spot easy to get to train station, shops etc very quiet area not to far to go to get to the main part of Tokyo or other areas. Room was quiet large and nothing was to much trouble you just had to ask {taxi booking} etc.

Nothing that l can think of all great.

Poor services , staff don’t listen to cleaning

    Poor cleaning

Cooking facilities. Big room , comfortable window and balcony. Great manager- seamless checking and check out. Very friendly and welcoming. Thank you

We have stayed here multiple times. We are always happy with our stay. The room is very clean, well stocked with what travelers need, having the manager there on sight is a huge plus. He is very accommodating & helpful to get you what is needed. Our daughter lives close by it couldn’t be anymore convenient.

There is not a closet or drawers to keep clothing. We usually stay for 7-10 days and I don’t like trying to live out of a suitcase. But it is not a deal breaker and we will always stay at the Emir when we are visiting out daughter.

    Nice bed

Toilet smells bad. Location too far from attractions. Terrible amenities.

Big room compared to the average that you can get in Tokyo for this priceFully equipped kitchen with big fridge, stove, microwave, etcLaundry machineFriendly staffQuiet area

A bit far from the metro station Minowa which was the closest station Not very clean as I found some hair in the room and bathroom not belonging to me and dust under the bedNo possibility to leave the luggage on the last dayNo staff all the time and no door code or badge at the entrance so everyone could enter, I did not feel safe. The pans and kitchen utensils were not very clean and old, no basic ingredients furnished such as oil so everything just sticks to the old pan. Better to eat outside as there are plenty of good options. No breakfast option

The property is very clean, hygiene and tidy. There is drink and snack available in the morning. You can store your luggage even after check out with free of charge. Helpful staff. Near dontonbori street.

A little bit far from subway station.

    8EltonPosted on: 7-9-2024

The location is quiet, a little far from train station and supermarket. All in one in the room. There's a washing machine in the room.Bed is comfortable.

Room is small. But considering the price and all-in-one, it's acceptable.

    9ArlenePosted on: 5-12-2024

These was our 2nd time staying at the Hotel Emir & will stay again.

It would be nice to have somewhere for clothing…..maybe adding in some shelves or closet. I would remove the washing machine & put in a closet.

    9FirdausPosted on: 4-24-2024

The building is a regular apartments turned into a hotel which means it came with everything you need. Small kitchen, regular sized fridge, stove top, kitchen utensils, washer/dryer, a/c unit and the washroom, had a built in function as a convenient air dryer for your clothes and lastly a balcony. Lastly in terms of room size, larger than average with enough room for 4 luggages and area to walk around.

No bidet but not a deal breaker.

    8BasiliaPosted on: 4-16-2024

The room was small but equip with just enough to satisfy our needs - coming with a washing machine, kettle, drying setting in the bathroom etc. we were located pretty close to the station but it still took a decently long time to get to hubs like Shinjuku. Although this was a lovely quiet, and quaint area to be staying in with good places to eat nearby.

Having our own apartment including a little kitchen and washingmachine

Its quite small for two big suitcases but we managed. And it is a bit far to the center.

    10HuynhPosted on: 12-25-2023

Location was in the redlight district. Not expecting that. It's about a 20-25 minute walk to the heart of Asakusa. Well worth it for the price.
