Minn Ueno

The smell as we were entering the hotel and the fact that there were no recepcionist to help

The room was lovely and clean for a family of 4. There is no breakfast etc available but there are multiple Konbinis around and it is a short walk to Ameyoko with all it's shops and small restaurants. Reception is not staffed 24/7 but they were available, helpful and friendly when required. Ueno as a location was excellent.

There is self service luggage storage available but it was completely full when we checked out - probably need more space. The excellent staff member stored our luggage for us though.

Spacious, modern, clean

I like that it is very convinient location to all food shops, stores and nearby to Ameyoko Shopping Street. And the space itself is a plus plus, I have experience having a hard time finding a good and baby friendly unit, or apartment and Minn Ueno definitely got it all. ♥️?

I think the bedroom pillow will improve more and the complimentary breakfast we paid for..

Perfect area, we are in the center of Ueno and the place is perfect for a family of 4. Super spacious and have all the amenities you need. the best were comfy and some privacy for the family too with the 2 separates areas. The shower and kitchen was also perfect and comfortable.

We didnt interact with any "human", we did the check-in online and when we arrived (earlier than check-in) we got told by the iPad that there are no place for our luggage besides the lobby area which is open ... so a bit of disappointment knowing that i messaged BEFORE arriving to find out the logistics. In the end, we found (ourselves) an area that was locked and follow the instructions on the door instead of listening to what the person said on the Ipad.. so yeah.. a bit more infos would have been appreciated.

The location and how there are many room configurations for any type of travellers. The location is also really good, near to multiple convenience stores, near train and a whole street shops and restaurant area.

For a hotel situated in Ueno, which is know as a family friendly area, they don’t have cribs! This is very very unacceptable. We had to carry our own foldable crib in the end

We are the group of 4 adults and 1 6-yo kid, the room is so spacious and have enough space for our luggages.The check-in process was quite simple.Washing machine and dryer were available but may have a queue to wait.The location is excellent, in the middle of Ueno that can find a lot of restaurant and go for shopping.

Location is good.

The layout is very bad. Bathroom and toilet are in front of the entrance( doesn’t make sense).

Location to train station and convenience store. Washer and dryer on property. Fit a family of five.

We could hear the people or kids walking/ jumping above us during night hours.

Solid location, Smooth check in, self luggage storage(good for if you have to wait till check in or you have a late flight after checkout. the rooms are super spacious compared to budget hotels.

Great facilities and location

Early checkout of 10:00 relative to a 15:00 check in struck me as a thinly veiled way to squeeze more money by offering guests expensive “late check” out as an option

Great location, Ueno was awesome, clean, friendly staff, lovely facilities, very spacious

Pillows were very hard and it was difficult to get comfortable sometimes, wifi was spotty

Room is spacious for 6 people. Location is convenient. Facility is clean.

The booking page said breakfast included and it cost more than the option without breakfast. However, there is no breakfast at this hotel. They are cheating customers and refused to refund me. Also, there is a bad odor in the room.

Property was easy to find, about a 14 minute walk maximum from the big ueno station, being able to check in was a breeze and very quick and easy (also for check out), very spacious compared to other Japanese hotels.

It would be nice if the hotel had a money machine to exchange bills for coins, or it would be nice if laundry area had an app we could pay on. Room was a little dusty. Beds were on the harder side, so it was unfortunate. Also wished there was an iron in the room.

I love how the place is a walking distance to Ueno Station. There are also a lot of restaurants nearby. I also fell inlove with their spacious rooms. They were able to accommodate all 7 of us.

Adrian was a wonderful front desk host. He spoke English and was very helpful.

There was only I pillow per person and I would’ve like a couple extra.

It was very accommodating and spacious. Very close to transportation and delicious restaurants.

The couches and beds were very firm. It was uncomfortable. I probably couldn't stay longer than 3 days.

Staff was very responsive and the property was close to train stations.

There were stains on the sofas and the restroom does not small good.

Minn Ueno is a great location, just a few blocks away from the bustling Ueno center. The facility is in great shape, rooms were clean and well kept. There wasn’t much in-person staff, however, they have a 24 video concierge if you have any questions. We have a family of 5 and had plenty of room.
