Pros +
- The property was clean and in a great location. Just a few minutes away from the Temple and a Mega Don Quijote to cure any 4am jet lag boredom. A little confusing to find the first time around because there’s another hotel with a similar name but overall, a good stay for the price. My husband is a large man, so be aware that the room and bathroom is very small and may be uncomfortable for longer term stays depending on space preference; however, this is expected of Japanese hotels.
- Near sensoji-temple. Just across our favorite ramen spot. Spacious room and budget friendly with heated toilet seat. Conveniently located and few minutes away from asakusa tobu station. If you walk further to asakusa station, its just 1 express train away from Narita/Haneda airport.
- Great view of the temple and overall convenient location. 5-8 minute walk to the station which is a direct connection to the Ginza line. Also near every tourist spot in the area, which is convenient if you want to stay out late. You can walk to Sumida Park at night since its only a 5 min away.
Cons -
- The smoking area is on the small corner beside the entrance of the hotel so most of the times the smoke from the cigarette enters the lobby and even the elevator.
- The space is standard for a budget hotel (aka small), manageable but orientation could be better. It was hard to get to the closet and dresser since the beds were in the way. Also lacks hangers on the doors.
- It didn't feel super clean. I also saw mold in the air conditioner so I refused to turn it on.

i loved the location and the price! it was a decent stay for my short trip.

Location and cleanliness
Too small, not enough amenities. No where to sit down
Location is amazing!
Small rooms, but workable.Would be better if the TV was raised higher so you don't worry about hitting it with your head. Bathroom mirror is curiously low.
Location
Dirty.Water not hot enough Sweaty air
Great location right next to Asakusa temple. Room was very clean and the water pressure in the shower was amazing.
Room was very small so you wouldn’t want to chill in there, but for the price it can’t be beat. This isn’t really a complaint just so people know what they are in for. The service was awesome here and again, very clean.
Great location near senso ji. Short walk to asakusa station. Great for catching train to Narita or accessing the mass transit system. Close to all the asakusa sights. Quiet location. Great view of senso ji.
Very very small quarters. Really awful smell from the bathroom sinks and drains. Weak internet.
The location was great. Almost everything was walking distance- Asakusa Station, restaurants, shops. The staff were all polite and helpful. The internet was the best among all the hotels I’ve stayed in . Fast and doesnt lag.
I just hope they had a waiting area where guests could sit while waiting for check in and upon checkOut while waiting for transportation.
Great location. Its like going out, everything is there. A few steps from the train station, sensoji temple. At the back its the river. Tokyo tower tree is walkable if you like to stroll around the river bank. Its highly recommended
Location to the station and the bed and bathroom
How steep the stairs were
near the station and to sensoji temple
the room is small..good for couples only. If you have big luggages it will be hard to move already
I absolutely loved the location, most of all! But the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating whenever I needed something. Despite putting DND on my door, they still thought to leave a fresh set of towel each day of my stay. Even the room was exceptional, the bed was comfortable and the washroom was clean. Also the fact that the hotel had an elevator was chef's kiss for me.
I can't really think of anything, to be honest. That's how happy I was with my stay.
The room is a bit small but clean, with free skincare. The location is near train station and bus stops, the hotel is few meters from the Sensoji Temple. Above all, the staffs are kind and accommodating, the receptionist can speak English so we don't have any issues with check-in. I told him to add 1 guest to our room and I am willing to pay for the extra guest but he gave me a separate single room. Recommended hotel.
The hotel surprised me with a great view of the Sensouji! It's pretty old but a good option for a night stay.
The location was very good
The room needs to aired out—felt stuffy. If you have a big suitcase don’t come here. If you are coming to Tokyo for a special time—spend the extra money and get a better place. The room is just for sleeping. If you are broke this room is good.
Just a few minute walk to train station. Near Don Quijote, Convenience Stores and Sensoji Temple.
We initially had a hotel elsewhere but because of the state of the hotel we decided to come to Hotel Trend instead. The property was clean and modern with many amenities available on the bottom floor. The room was spacious for Tokyo and we fit three luggage bags in the room as well as two backpacks. They clean the rooms every two days which is very nice and the beds are softer than most the other hotels in Japan which we really loved. For the price you really do get amazing value out of this hotel. We will be staying here when we return to Japan as it’s a short walk to the station, Skytree, Asakasa town and Senso ji temple.
There was nothing to dislike.
The staff were incredibly nice and helpful and let me store my luggage there before my departing flight. The location is about a 5 min walk to the metro station that I used to get everywhere. Lots of free amenities (all shower supplies, robes, fresh towels daily, tea, a clothes steamer and kettle in the room). Greta value for a very low price, highly recommend.
There are some very small cosmetic issues with the room (some peeling wallpaper, stains on the carpet) but still clean and reasonable for the price.
