Hostel Bedgasm

Paid $--- for a single room, but got a cramped, unappealing space. Loud echoes, subpar rooms, and a rooftop filled with laundry. This place is a bed dump, not the promised bedgasm. Total letdown.

Great location, excellent bar and comfy beds.

The staff was the best part of the stay. Very helpful and friendly. It was a very welcoming environment. Not to mention the bar downstairs was always nice.

I can't say much on this because the whole stay was very nice, but if pressed i'd say the beds were a bit cramped, but i can't complain because the price was very good. All in all, i'd say it was a good first choice for any first time solo travelers like myself

A great place! The facilities were great. It's a wonderful place to connect with other travelers. The staff is very friendly. Little bar downstairs is a great gathering spot. It's a good location. Close to a train but also walking distance to a number of attractions. Nice quiet neighborhood.

It would be nice if the rooftop area was open.

Very social hostel, with the best staff and friendly travellers. Great nights out with Kai and the gang. Comfy beds. Good showers. Location is top, quiet area but very easy to get around with excellent transport links.

The lights kept flicking off in the bathroom despite being on. No hot water from the sink. The bedroom was freezing; I had to use all the sheets I was given, put on my pull over, and my heavy coat over the sheets to try to get somewhat warm.

A place that’s equal parts cozy, social, and ever-so-slightly chaotic. Bedgasm as the name says it all - it’s euphoric mix of comfy bed and good vibes. The atmosphere? Buzzing! The staff? Absolute legends! If you fancy a hostel that feels like a mate’s place but with cleaner sheets, this is the one. 10/10 would be Bedgasm again.

Started my Japan trip at Bedgasm and spent 11 nights there, I already miss it, the vibes are great, the staff is super nice and friendly and it's a great place to socialize thanks to the bar on the first floor.Got close to many people and so many ended up extending their stay!Location in really nice, close to Ueno and Asakusa, away from the chaos but it's easy to reach it with the closest metro stop being just a 6min walk away.No elevator but everyone helps each other with the luggages up and down the stairs.The room (girls only on 3F) is comfy, beds are spacious and it's warm, there's even a vanity area with lit up mirrors.Will def go back my next time in Tokyo.

If I have to find a small flaw is that the bathrooms/showers area is very cold (in january at least)

Great place for foreigners. Good location and you can easily make friends here. Bunks are very spacious. There's also events you can sign up for.

The staff were really friendly, on the day of my check in I met the receptionist, who straight away told me about plans for dinner later that day. This was great as I was travelling solo and was in need of friends. The people working in the bar were perfect and served pretty much any drink I wanted. Super friendly vibes overall!!!

I got the upper bunk bed but that is my fault.

Good size hostel. The beds were a great size and lots of room to store your things.

The showers weren't a hot enough temperature. It would be nice if there was a small selection of tea and coffee provided. Otherwise, the place was great, and I would recommend it to fellow travellers.

Staff were amazing and very helpful. The bar is especially good. Felt at home right away

If your tall then you might bump your head but thats hard to complain about really

The staff was friendly and was trying to organise events for guests. It was easy to meet new people in the bar during the evenings.

There is no heating in the bathroom during winter.

The bartender the other guests all the staff and it was clean.

Yu’s tour was not great

Facilities were clean and staff was very friendly. Area was in a quiet neighborhood.

It’s located at least a 20-24 minute walk from the main attractions in Asakusa. Nearest convenience store was around a 7 minute walk. Just not much to do in the area at all.

Location is spot on, staff is very polite, professional and reactive … and the lounge space and Welcome ( Free ) Drink are a “plus”!

Some improvement can be made to overall cleanliness and to keeping all areas of the hostel warm and cozy at all times.
