Pros +
- Good location
- Great location, clean facilities, easy access to restaurant downstairs.
- Very good bed, small comfortable room, very nice bathroom, all very compact and clean.
Cons -
- Room is small, the window is too close to the next building
- We visited in January and our 11th floor room was so hot it was stifling, with no way to control the temperature except to open the window. This was the biggest discomfort. Other than that, there were several minor inconveniences that each alone wouldn't be worth mentioning, but taken all together made for a generally uncomfortable stay. These included: a very small room (typical for Tokyo, but if you are two people with two regular size luggage pieces, be prepared to stumble over one another constantly), lack of advertised amenities (the drink machine in the lobby was out of everything except coffee, there were long wait lines for laundry because there were only two machines for the entire hotel), and difficulties with the public bath (it was fairly small, there were warnings that if they caught you with tattoo coverups you would be kicked out).
- Bedroom was small. Only one chair. Bathroom was tiny - the longest dimension was less than my outstretched arms. Bathroom floor not on the same level as the bedroom - required about an 8 inch step up - strange.

My husband and I stayed for a week at Tosei Cocone in Asakusa and had a great experience. The rooms were very clean, and the location was spectacular - quiet, easy to access from the Kuramae station, and easily walkable to many things we wanted to see, including Senso-ji and Skytree. The staff was very helpful, and the restaurant was also nice! If you're booking a Japanese-style room, just know that if you're a westerner like me, it's likely smaller than you think. There was very little floorspace for our luggage which could feel cramped, but that was really on me for not researching a little better. However - the Japanese-style amenities including the shower and overall vibe still made it an absolutely wonderful stay. I'd be very happy to stay again!
The only thing that was less than perfect was in our first room (we stayed twice on two legs of our trip), the pillows were quite old and flat. If I had just asked for a different one though I could have solved this, so I really can't hold it against them. They're a great hotel.
Location was great, even with the big road nearby it was rather quiet in the room! Clean, organized. Steps from a bridge passing over a river.
I like how clean it was; the location and how close it was to multiple train stations. The shared amenities and resources at the lobby floor was nice to have to.
Location. Staff. Facilities (onsen, washing machines, coffee/tea station)
The staff were very helpful organizing our luggage transfers. The public onsen was great for relaxing after a long day exploring Tokyo. The location was great, near metro stations and walking distance to Senso-Ji temple and Asakusa Shrine. Close to many good restaurants, we had great Japanese breakfast and conveyor belt sushi. Take a walking tour around the temple to really appreciate the area!
It was small but that is typical for Tokyo.
The location is very close to subway and airport. Hotel is clean and staff is nice.
The room is with window but facing next building’s wall. So it is no meaning to pay extra with window
This is right across the Kuramae station, excellent location and direct transfer from Haneda airport!
Clean, comfortable, close to famous places, very convenient to find food, I really recommend
I like it
I like that the hotel and room is not your run-of-the-mill business hotel in Tokyo. I enjoyed the Japanese motif in the room with tatami and the public bath to relax. The location is good, five minutes walk to the Edo and Asakusa line. The Asakusa line is particularly helpful if you are traveling to or from Haneda as you do not need to transfer. The hotel is also right by the river with views of Tokyo Sky Tree and is in a quieter part of town with a grocery store right across the street and all three major convenience stores (7/11, Lawson, and Family Mart) within 1-2 blocks of the hotel. The staff is very friendly and the price, overall, I found fair.
Probably my biggest wish is that the hotel, despite being quite new, had both room cold/hot air conditioning that you can control. They had just turned on the heat and all I could do was open the window the cool the room. This made sleeping more difficult as I was subject to Tokyo traffic sounds through the night. I also wish they had more coin laundry machines -- they have only two machines for the entire hotel.
Good location
Rooms are very small and over priced
Convenient location and nice staff that gives new linens via basket if you have a ‘do not disturb’ sign up. Close to river, tourist spots, konbinis, and subway.
Extremely small space. Extremely small bathroom with step down.
Staff were amazing, cleanliness was first class, location was great, very handy and central for travels all over Tokyo
Room was even smaller than what we thought - and we thought it would be small. The mattress was difficult to sleep on and the pillows were horrendous
The hotel is in a quiet area of Asakusa with easy access to subway lines and shopping districts. The hotel is also an easy walk (30 minutes) to the Keisei Ueno Station for the Skyliner to/from Narita. The staff is courteous and efficient. Our room is very clean. The hotel has complementary bag storage which makes it very convenient if you arriving early or leaving late.
The room is a bit small for the price charged. Check out is 10am rather than the typical 11am that most hotels have. We booked through Booking.com and the hotel fee was charged to our credit card a few days before our arrival.
Hotel was in close proximity to Sensoji Temple, train station and a lot of shops.
I'm so incredibly grateful for the outstanding service I received! I accidentally left my Apple Earphones on the bed when I checked out and flew back home. I was worried I would never see them again. But the hotel staff and Booking.com's customer service team were absolutely amazing! They helped me track down my earphones and went above and beyond to ship them back to me internationally. Their honesty and dedication truly touched my heart. The customer service was superb - they kept me updated every step of the way and made the whole process so easy. The hotel front desk staff were incredibly hospitable and kind throughout my stay.Everything about my experience was superior - from the comfortable room to the genuine care shown by everyone involved. It's rare to find such honest and helpful people these days.Thank you so much for your exceptional service! You turned what could have been a stressful situation into a wonderful example of true hospitality. I will definitely stay with you again and recommend you to all my friends and family!
Clean, small but very comfy room (great bed). The location is amazing- close to transport, 10 minutes' walk from Senso-ji, 4 minutes away from a lovely river stroll. Good restaurants and conbinis around, and a quiet area.
Honestly, everything was great. I'd add another washing machine but that's it.
