The room was comfortable and clean. The bathroom and showers were clean and had the essentials available.

There should be a separate dry area and storage locker provided to individual guest instead of open cabinet for everyone

- Staff could be more helpful to help guest with their heavy luggage- Pillow was too hard

The bed is nice and comfy. The pillow is traditional and has beans in it. The room was pretty quiet, and everyone was respectful. You will leave your belongings on an open shelf labelled with your bed letter (ex: A, B, C, D) in your room, there are no lockers with locks.

The bunk bed design is so good, small of course but it has everything you need. The structure is also good, sound from your neighbors is very minimal. Everything is super clean even when everything is shared and I stayed in a mix dorm

I just wish they have bigger space in the room for luggages

I stayed in the shared room, but it was nice and each person got a ton of space for their luggage. The capsule itself was way larger than I thought, The mattress was alright I can't really complain that much but don't expect it to be thick like the one you have at home. Toilets are nice and clean, the kitchen is small but you can cook and they have plates and utensils. Friendly staff

Good luck getting up all the stairs if you are on the 3rd floor lol. I think they will help you if you ask though.

Location is good close to the temple and surrounding streets and 5 minutes from the metro. Staff was friendly and helpful. Clean. Comfortable bed nice small room.

Small kitchen and common area. No access to them in the early morning before the staff arrives.

The location is near the train station and a popular tourist spot. But the place is located in a quiet neighborhood.

For a private room it was really nice. Having our own private bathroom was great. The bedroom and bathroom were both very clean. The staff was wonderful and kind. The location was great. The rooftop also has an amazing view of the Tokyo Skytree. It was very easy to get to from the station. Great place to stay while visiting Tokyo.

It was a quiet area is Asakusa and a wonderful hostel overall

The wood all over the building had a moldy smell, you could hear the people from the other rooms and there was no real way to close the window without light coming in the room, and it is quite far from the nearest metro station

toilets didn’t have fan so it was a little hotter than the rooms

we only stayed for a night but the staff was wonderful, very clean and spacious. would recommend

the only thing i didn’t really like was that there was no elevator but it is not that terrible, they started fixing the room while we had not left yet which was odd but it did not bother me much. and the guest that were also in the shared room were quite noisy (not the hostels fault) especially late at night and very early in the morning

I want to be clear and say I stay at hostels for a job, I review them on Youtube so I have stayed in a quite a lot.. I think because of this I can see Plat is a good hostel for the money if you are looking for simple and quite. It is in a part of the city where nothing else is really located so it can be out of the way but that is exactly what SOME people want, It is very quite and to your self - not a social hostel and not really much room for socializing. The ROOF is beautiful though and it is clean and comfortable. I think it's perfect if you just want a bed to sleep in.

I don't think there is much they can improve on simply because of the location, It would be nice to have more social space but it's limited because of the space being rented.. so it is not the hostels fault. I think Plat does a wonderful job at providing a nice clean and quiet space!

The facility is situated at a quiet residential neighborhood in Asakusa. It is close to both Asakusa and Honjo-Azumbashi Tokyo Metro station. If one need to take the metro, I recommend walking to Honjo-Asumbashi station instead. There are two set of crosswalks you have to walk across to get to Asakusa station and the traffic lights can take a while for the signal to change. I spend two nights at this place and the staffs I came across are very friendly. Facility is well lit and it is clean. The best thing about this place is the rooftop patio view of the Skytree.

For those with bigger luggage, the stairwell might feel a bit tight. It is not a big problem, just have to slowly maneuver around it.

Extremely helpful staff. Great location. Very nice accommodation.
