Passable

The towel rack was damaged but simply left the wreckage in bathroom..It seems a little bit dangerous but the hotel didn’t handle on it..

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at in my entire life. To begin with, we booked a superior non-smoking room with a city view and two windows. Yet, at check-in, they simply placed us in a completely different room—a room on the third floor that was for smokers (we are non-smokers) and far inferior to what we had actually booked! They claimed it was a platform error (a blatant lie!). We paid extra, and they decided where to put us. We complained, but they did absolutely nothing to help—it was either that room or sleeping on the street. Every morning, I woke up feeling like I had smoked a pack of cigarettes, which caused me nausea and other health problems. The breakfast had no options, the cleanliness was terrible, and the distance from the station was inconvenient for anyone with luggage. They offered no assistance whatsoever. I truly hope anyone reading this review will think twice before booking. It was a total waste of money in a horrible place that even harmed our health.

I dropped my headphones near the lobby, it was returned to lost n found.They have extra umbrellas for guests. Very helpful.

The fact that they put me in a smoking room when I requested a non-smoking room is unacceptable. It's a headache to always smell smoke in the hallway on my way to my room. And I hate how dark the room is... hard to tell if it's sunny outside or not since the window doesn't open all the way. Never staying here again. And there's always little bugs flying around every day

The breakfast was good and convenient. Had the option to get new towel everyday. They don’t clean your room daily. But, they could clean it if you request it. Not too far away from the train station so it’s convenient. 7/11 is close by which is nice. Ueno park was also close which was nice considering that my family came during cherry blossom season.

Room is really small. Not much walking space and you also don’t have any room to lay out your suitcase. Hotel also only has room for only 2 people. So if you plan to stay with family you will probably have to split up into groups.

Better signage at the front of the building would improve accessibility

Location was close to the train station, helpful when traveling with bags.

Room pictures were not as advised online. Room was too small, has dark walls & a small window that is covered so you cannot see in or out. Room while presented neatly, was extremely dusty, stains on the floors & too small for two people. Bathroom as clean & neat but again too small as you could only just fit in to close the door behind you.

Good value for money and great location but couples can struggle as this is tinny room.

Very small room and moving is an issue

It was close by two train stations and a brief walk to Ueno Park.

The room was very dusty and not properly cleaned. The room was also too small to have two suitcases and is more suited to a solo traveller. Each day there was a sign out front saying the bar was open until 23:00. We went up at 21:30 and were rudely told to leave as the bar is closed which was confusing and disappointing. There were only meat options for breakfast. There was no room cleaning for a 4 night stay. Would not stay again.

Bathroom space is quiet small for tall guys as me. But, did not have problem.

Staff are very helpful

Breakfast is not good. Coffee is cold and it only pleases the Chinese guest. Should have other food options. Room is dark.

easy to get to Ueno Station, rooms and bathroom facilities are quite new, and the mattress/bed was very comfortable! (important!)All in all a solid hotel, and at a very good price! :)

The breakfast was unfortunately not very good (especially basic items such as the rice, which was watery, and the promised protein rich foods were also more or less sausages, meatballs and boiled eggs, vegetables were mostly boiled sprouts and very salty/ garlicky broccoli, so it felt not as healthy as was advertised)

Localisation is great, 3 stations are very close and 7 eleven is around the corner.

Rooms were very dusty, the cleaning service dont do good job. Breakfast are very cheap but not very good, usually meat is cold but still edible.

Location to train station is very nice it’s great if your looking for affordable for a long stay

Not very much not to like it’s very quaint it may be a bit small for 2 people but then again it’s not like you’re spending your time there just to sit in a hotel four bags a comfortable amount without taking up to much room

We like the location near(ish) to Ueno station.

We've been there before, so we knew the rooms are very small. But for one or two days stay it's fine.

Clean, comfortable, and convenient! Nice check-in staff.

The bartender in the sky lounge overcharged us.

Staffs were good and can understand English well.We dropped the luggages in the morning and back in the evening for checking in, they delivered the luggages in the room which was nice.Breakfast was OK with a limit dishes.Location is near to Ueno Station taking Iriya Gate Exit.

The television doesn't have youtube and netflix.

Need to buy a ticket to watch movies.
