APA Hotel Akihabara Ekikita

The location of this hotel was awesome. Its convenient to train station and Akihabara area. There a lot of places to eat as well as entertainment.

No, there wasn't anything i didnt like about this hotel.

The friendliness of the staff and the accommodations for our luggage when we arrived too early. The peacefulness around the area.

Nothing in mind I would change!

The hotel is fairly compact despite having 14 floors so the 1 elevator layout is not a big deal. Very interesting architecture with a walkway. Nice view from the window on the Sky Tower. Facilities were APA standard. The price was very attractive. Walking distance to keisei ueno station is convenient. Reception staff was nice and has very good English.

The room is supposed to be cleaned every 3 days but 1 time the cleaning staff missed the date causing some problems for me （and no, the room was not too cluttered I always make sure it is ready for cleaning.) Had to arrange next day cleaning at the reception.　Otherwise, no real issues.

Very clean and the staff were professional. Basic amenities, just enough to make a short stay enjoyable which the guest goes out. Location was not too far from the train station and there were several eateries and konbini nearby. The television gave very detailed information. Fairly adequate for having a place to store your luggage, a place to sleep, a place to shower.

The size of the bathrooms were fairly small, as a person who is roughly the same size as an average Japanese man, the bathroom felt too compact. Anyone bigger than that could have a hard time navigating.

- the room was clean and I could see the sky tree from my window- loved that the lights were on the bedframe- comfy bed- great pillows (you get choices!!)

TV was saying that APA hotels offer great amenities such as onsens and washing machines but that must have been a general statement because none of those were available here

great location! front staff is very helpful! comfortable rooms and bed. about 10 mins walk to main portion of Akihabara & Akihabara Station. Quiet hotel. Would stay here again!

The air isn’t adjustable by room, they control it for the whole hotel. It was a little hot the first day or two we were here but about the third day the AC came on and it was very comfortable temperature!

It was very clean and all the important information was on the tv like the wifi password and when my checkout time was and other important information.

You have no control over the ac the room was VERY hot we had to ask the front desk for help and they gave us a portable fan which helped but we still sweated during the night.

A proper hotel everything is clean and always ready

The staff made me wait at the lobby for more than 50 min. They said that the booking was comfirmed but system was working well. i really didnt Understand them. I kost the chance to walk aroUnd the hotel because of that. I was so dissaponted

Excellently designed room with a professional staff to tend to it. Location to the Akihabara station and the Hibiya line underground was fantastic too.

It was ok. Nothing stood out to me.

Bathroom faucet did stay on. Pillows were very worn and flat. No option to opt out of items like clean towels etc. You just end up with mutilple unused bags of stuff hanging on your door. Very inconvenient checking in when you use booking. com.

we liked the location, close to akihabara and ueno... its not a busy area and we like that abt it(escape the noise)

Cosy room, with all that you need. I stayed at 12 floor.

The air conditioning if it is possible not to blow over the bad in our head, it was unpleasant the feeling if we keep it on during the night, because it was very hot.

It was located in a very convenient are not too busy but close enough to walk to everything

I can’t really complain

While we didn't get the breakfast, the location was a nice and quiet place. Staff were very helpful when we came to check in and on rainy days, provided us with umbrellas. Room was smaller than expected, but still cozy. They also offered daily change of towels and other amenities.

Location was a few blocks away from the train station and the city hub making it difficult to transport goods to and from the hotel.

Location - convenient. 7/11 - a 5 min walk. Akihabara strip- 7 mins, with loads of food in between. Staff were friendly and had awesome customer service skills. Their honesty even saved me several thousand ¥ when extending my stay.

Ventilation (AC when turned on) gave a mildew(?) smell. So we had to turn the air off to not smell it, which made it uncomfortably warm in the room. Also, wifi was really slow this time around. So much so it would routinely disconnect our devices from casting to the TV. Actual pillows, not pillow cases, need cleaning - stains visible and dark. The mini fridge didn't work! Caused me to have my 7/11 sandwiches and dessert spoil/melt. Lastly, the trouser press (13th floor) was weak. It did not get hot enough to remove wrinkles from the trousers.

Very central location . And all basic toiletries are provided.. so one should not actually bring anything to the hotel…

Cleanliness level on carpets is really bad . The carpet color hides everything not clean in the room..

The location was perfect. It was within walking distance of Akihabara Electric town.

The shower was very small and cramped. There was only one elevator for the entire building.
