I booked this hotel for my college age daughter on vacation in Tokyo. The hotel location was fabulous and a great value. The surrounding area is peaceful and has great food and cafe options, and a convenience store just outside. The hotel is very close to a station and a short ride to Shibuya. It proved to be a strategic choice given its location and reasonable price, and my daughter loved her stay there, describing it as cozy and nice.

None. This will be a go-to hotel for next time.

Good location in city center and near train station, staff was friendly

What a fantastic location! Being just two stops away from Shibuya Station in such a cool, youthful area was a major plus. We had a little surprise seeing stairs to the front desk, but honestly, the staff were amazing! They insisted on helping us with our luggage, even though we could have managed. Their quick and thoughtful help carrying everything upstairs was so kind. The hotel itself was spotless, and we loved being able to get a huge amount of ice whenever we asked. I absolutely loved my stay at B Sangenjaya Hotel and would totally recommend it! Oh, and don't miss the delicious Chinese food right across the street!

Good location. Shops all around and train is just a minute away.

The mattress was unusually hard. We needed to make a local call but there was no phone in our room or in the hotel. The front desk staff directed us outside.

The size of the room was much smaller than it appears in the photos, but it was a wonderful stay.

the hotel staff were wonderful and welcoming. We stayed in the area for three weeks, returning to this hotel on four different occasions. The hotel kindly held our bags when we were away on short trips, and on two occasions the bags were already in our room when we checked in.The hotel is a typical Japaness business hotel. The rooms are compact but well laid out. There were two of us sharing a double. With a bit of thought on where we put things we were comfortable in the room, with our two mid size and two carry on suitcases, and personal items. The breakfasst was very good value on the combined tarrif we booked - not sure it would have been worth it on its own. There is a wondeful supermarket 2 minutes from the hotel, a convenience store next door, and the train line is 5 minutes walk.The bathroom, while also compact, did have a japanese style bath (and shower), which was pleasure after a long day wandering the streets of Tokyo. I highly recommend the B Senganjay - but it is ipmortant to shop around for price! We got the best deal on this site, but on two occasions found less expensive options elsewhere.

Exceptional staff, easy check in and check out, room always clean and tidy.

For a person of my size, the bathroom is a bit on the smaller side.

This hotel is located a few minutes by foot from Sangenjaya station. The room was clean and had all the basic amenities including tea. The bed was clean and comfortable. There is a supermarket and lots of local restaurants nearby.

This is a very convenient location with plenty of amenities within walking distance especially the train station.

The bed and pillows were very hard. As an American I prefer something softer but perhaps that's just a Japanese thing?

Construction work was going on. Room was non smoking but kept smelling smoke down the hallway.

Laundry facilities limited for such a big hotel. Many steps to access the lobby and no assistance from staff. No business facilities or communal space.

Loved the location, which was in a fun area just a couple of stops on the train to Shibuya/Shinjuku, the staff were friendly and helpful, the bed was comfortable, had a clean and compact bathroom, excellent air conditioning.

The steep front steps to reception were tough after a long day of walking, suggest making this clear as people with mobility issues would struggle to access this property.
