Mercure Hotel Golf Cap d'Agde

Location is phenomenal. Walking distance to beaches and main area of Cap D'Agde.

Room size was really good, walking distance from docks and restaurants. Staff were great and accommodating.

We likes the full size king bed, it was comfortable and clean.

Wife didn’t like the old carpet in the room. Nearby barking dogs was a disturbance, noise from the business especially when they opened and closed their roller doors not sure if it’s damaged or needs lubricants. It’s pretty loud in the early mornings.

Beds were really comfortable, the location was perfect ! The reception staff were amazingly helpful

Restaurant closed, water in room half drunk, cold hot breakfast, plates did not get cleared, coffee machines useless.

Bed was nice. Room could be nice if it weren’t for the smell.

The room had a bad smell. After reporting it twice they acknowledged that there was a general problem. But wasn’t fixed during the stay despite multiple (alleged) tries. They tried to mask it with perfume. But that made it even more unbearable.Balcony railing had bird poop all over. Hasn’t been cleaned in a while. Breakfast was bad. Cold scrambled eggs from a can. Not much choice otherwise. Not worth the 18€. But not many other options around.

staff is very caring and rooms are great. We had forgotten an item during our previous stay, they kept it until we came back (a month later)

Bed was comfy. Room was large with nice balcony. Staff were friendly and one spoke good English. Quiet location.

Bathroom hadn't been cleaned properly with what looked like dried vomit stains underneath the toilet bowl. Someones old sock left behind stool when pulled out, so obviously hadn't been pulled out by cleaning staff.

The breakfast had EVERYTHING! The staff was extremely friendly, from the receptionists to the woman working in the kitchen, to the cleaning staff - everyone was so accommodating and approachable. The room was so clean and the bed was spacious and so comfortable. We travelled with our 8 month old daughter and the bed fit all three of us comfortably. Hotel is a 10 min walk to the beach and 15 min to the center. There is a pharmacie just round the corner, which is perfect. The hotel had a restaurant, which had the same prices as in town. So wasn’t overpriced despite being in the hotel. The rooms are very sound proof, so we never heard anyone from other rooms or from the outside. We also had a spacious balcony.

The room was very well appointed, you could arrive without your toilet bag, and every thing was catered for.The buffet breakfast catered for all tastes, and was plentiful.

The lack of comfort, this is a hotel primarily for one night salesmen/travellers. Only sitting place opposite reception.There is no lounge, the dinning room is very neat clean and tidy, but no table clothes, Its like a quality breakfast bar.No food in the hotel on Sunday nights, after a 400 kilometre trip.

All Mercure Hotels are "Dog Friendly" and all that we have stayed at have a facility to have Breakfast with the dog (s) in a bar area or whatever, without breaking the law - which we are aware of. Except this one..........

Everything was perfect

Welcoming and helpful staff, good location, the hotel is tastefully decorated, clean, comfortable and quiet, the bedroom terrasse is a real plus. The breakfast is excellent with lots of variety of cooked and continental options, however the buffet was missing the hash brown and baked beans.
