Posada Real Ixtapa

The pool has a lovely view to the ocean. The hotel has open bar which is great due to Ixtapa is very hot and you need to cool off.

Some of the employees are not very friendly.

Wish the drinks were better. The property had been updated few years back, but seems like it's not being maintained. The lock for a patio door could easily be forcef

The pool closes at 9pm and the rest of the place closes at 10pm way to early

A smaller property in an ideal location on the beach. Everything was to our liking.

Breakfast was ok

Very dirty, smell in room was horrific , pictures on Booking show beach at the same level of the pool but it is not real, you can not swim in that ocean, black flag all the time! Air con remote not working, we asked to change room but we had to pay 600 pesos to move to another room. We paid for two nights but we left the hotel after one night because of the dirtiness . We would like to have a reimbursement for the second night , if possible .

Meals were good and service was fine.

Please check the room, has little ants. But un general was great, I like they service and hospitality. I Will return to this hotel on future.

The only thing I liked and enjoyed about my stay was the view out to the ocean that I had from the balcony of my room.

I did not like the cleanliness of the hotel. the walls in my room were dirty and very thin you could hear everything. The room had an air conditioning unit but it was very weak, it honestly was so hot in our room which made our stay even more unpleasant. Also, the family-like atmosphere was not our vibe and we will make sure that we stay somewhere quieter, more private and cleaner on our next trip to Ixtapa.

The AC wasn’t working, the phone wasn’t working, the sheets were dirty. They replaced the sheets and those were dirty also. We asked for extra pillows and those were dirty too.

Not very clean

The breakfast was good, the omelette was good and coffee. The mini games, table tenis and the big pool.

The room was small , the bad attenrion from the waiters, the lunch and dinner was to bad and restaurant needs more cleaning.

I did read about Little ants in the room and we had them but didnt really bother us and wasnt going to let little things ruin my trip. It does need a little more remodeling around the rooms but nothing major. The only bad thing was the buffet food they had. When we got there we didn't have all inclusive and paid for the dinner buffet which was horrible. It was the worst food i have ever tasted. The menu for the pool if you paid was really good. We had nachos(white monterrey cheese not yellow) yummy,tuna and avocado, delicious,club sandwich also great and that "paid" food was great!! I swe the all inclusive snacks and they didnt look good at all to be honest. the pool was always clean,the beach was awesome,walking to beach and then pool was priceless. I would definitely come here again no matter what. Thank you

Nice simple All inclusive in a great area. Well run, nicely organised.

Some guests did just seem to drink non stop in the pool from morning to after dusk and got pretty noisy. They never seemed to leave the pool swim up bar to go to the loo. Made me wonder.
