Fairfield by Marriott Kumamoto Aso

Excellent location and roomsStaff were very helpful, kind and attentive

Good location, friendly staffs, amazing breakfast box and beautiful view.

Hotel look pretty new. Rooms are clean with comfortable bed. Not too small with ample room to move about. There is common area on the ground floor that serves like a pantry with all the necessary appliances and utensils and coffee machines for guests usage. There is even an outdoor garden with tables and chairs to relax and have breakfast. The hotel is located opposite Aso Train Station. And, it is not in busy part of town. Hotel is very muchaway from noises and crowd. Nice hotel to stay for a night or 2.Staffs are extremely helpful too and try to assist as best as they can.

Nothing much!

Firstly, it’s right next to the bus stop and the train station in Aso. You have to walk maybe 30 steps to enter the hotel. Once you’re inside, everything from check in, to the lobby, to laundry room, oven and microwave facility with bowls and spoons - is simply superb.

I can’t think of anything that I didn’t like.

Location, clean, staff friendly and surrounding environment

Booked a standard king room. I felt the room is very spacious compared with the room in other hotel of the same size during my stay at Kyushu. Layout is well planned, and organized. The parking is right beside or in front of the hotel It’s very convenient if you are driving The location of the hotel is very near to many popular attractions, cafes, groceries shops and restaurants. There’s a very good ramen shop near the hotel, it’s ramen no Kurokawa, near Aso Jinja, about 10 mins drive.

The breakfast, the bread is cold and hard, but there’s a toaster to heat up. The hotel provide free hot beverages and disposable cup for bring out. Very thoughtful

The breakfast was well rounded and set me up for the day. The location was perfect as it was next to the train and bus station. It was handy having the market nearby. Overall, I liked the community feel of the location as it wasn't on a busy street.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Clean and big room, great amenities and location. I was very happy with the accommodation.

A most comfortable room, bed and shower

A very nice hotel, well designed, clean spacious room. The location was excellent to visit Mount Aso area.

Close to the station. Room is spacious, room structure design is good.

Not really, just don’t trust google on directions…

Literally right at the train station. Nice market store nearby. Great kitchen/coffee set up on the ground floor. Very comfortable room. Staff very friendly.

The building doesn’t look impressive but the room is really nice! The bed is so comfortable. The hotel doesn’t provide meals but it provide large area for you to bring food and eat there. It has a pantry with utensils and hot water and free coffee. It is next to Aso train station and surprisingly you don’t hear any approaching or leaving train! Love it!

It cannot be found in car Navi. Those who used Navi, type aso station.

Very comfortable rooms, good location to visit Mt Aso.

No breakfast

Cleanliness, staff was very helpful and flexible.

Pricey

Modern, Clean and the coffee at the pantry is very delicious. All the staff are nice they say hi every single time I pass.

We had a great stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly helpful and kind — they even assisted us with reserving a restaurant since we don’t speak Japanese, which we really appreciated. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with a nice, decent setup that made us feel right at home. The common area was also large and inviting, and they offered free drinks and coffee, which was a lovely touch. Also, they provided free parking. Overall, a great experience and we’d definitely stay here again!

Spacious room with a comfy bed and a larger-than-usual fridge. Bathroom and shower are separate, which is a plus. It’s a short walk to Aso Station, and there’s plenty of parking. No restaurant, but there’s a lounge with free tea, coffee, and miso soup all day.

The location is really convenient as it's right next to the train station. The room decor was lovely. The sink is in the room although there is a moving partition wall which can separate it. There's a kitchen with free coffee machine downstairs, washing machine and a restroom which was great. Staff was very helpful. We found it very good value for money.

The hotel room is spacious, clean and bright. Hotel staff are extremely friendly and professional.
