Convenience of being next to airport.We were helped out by a staff member who went above and beyond to help us navigate our way around the complicated entrance/ garage/parking/ exits/ and puck up locations.Very friendly, understanding and patient!

Accessibility! There is no obvious entrance to the hotel when arriving at the airport, we had to go around several times before realizing we had to enter a parking garage entrance, then access an elevator (which was not well signposted ) to finally arrive at reception.

City Lodge Hotel at OR Tambo International Airport was the perfect stay for an overnight stop and exceeded our expectations. The location is unbeatable - directly connected to the terminal, which made travel incredibly easy and stress-free. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, allowing for a great night’s sleep despite being at a busy airport.The staff were friendly, efficient, and welcoming, making check-in and check-out seamless. After a long day of travel, the hotel offered exactly what we needed: comfort, convenience, and reliability. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone needing a convenient, high-quality airport hotel.

LOCATION PERFECT. I ORDERED ROOMSERVICE. FOOD WAS OUTSTANDING.

The plug in the bathtub was not working. The water kept on running out, so one had to keep on putting in water in order to bath.The door of the shower was broken. One could not close it.One of the towels in the room was extremely dirty. It had very bad looking yellow stains on it.

The breakfast buffet is excellent: many selections and very good food. Additionally, the staff are all very friendly and helpful.

The rooms have a worn appearance and seem a bit rundown.

The price for this hotel dramatically increased over the past two years. I will be looking for a different hotel, due to the lack of value at this point. In USD, the price rose over $100 from the original price I spent here. That almost $200 cost for less than 24 hours between flights is steep.

Close to terminal, staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious.

The hotel is within walking distance from the airport. We had an early flight the next morning so it was convenient to stay there.

We opted for the buffet dinner at their restaurant. During the early hours of the morning, two people in our party got very ill. They asked reception for assistance but got no help. Luckily they saw a doctors contact details at Reception. Doctor was called in and they were both diagnosed with food poisoning. The doctors bill came to R8000. So this was a very expensive stay for us!

The location, the hotel was safe and easy to get to do so even at 1am. I had a single night after a very late arrival, the staff were great.

Lovely staff and great location . Last time I stayed here I had a not so great experience due to a technical error with my booking , but this time was great

Not many ice makers

The staff were very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. They handled everything efficiently and made the stay very comfortable.

The hotel is quite expensive, and breakfast is charged separately. Considering the price of the stay, breakfast should ideally be included.

Location is fabulous for connecting flights. It was easy The pool area is nice but didn't know about it. breakfast was excellent and staff fabulous

too much noise in the room. we think we were just below a ramp for the parking lot as we could hear cars driving over our heads all night. By the time we realized what the noise was we were settled and didn't want to bother changing. If you hear what sounds like two tires going over metal in parking lot - CHANGE YOUR ROOM.

Convienet to the airport, good facilities and good food

Location and staff.

No drinking-water bottles in rooms! You need to walk a quite distance carrying an empty bottle, provided by hotel, to the hydration station and fill it from there. If you had a smoked beef on that night, you will probably need to walk three times.

Love the location and the super professional helpful stuff. The restaurant offered vegan food that was good too.

The rooms were a bit too small. I ordered a twin bait because I was there with my father, but it was two single beds pushed together. It was kind of tight. I hope if you order a twin bedroom, the room is slightly bigger. We could barely move.

Great location. Came right through airport directly into hotel.

Room service available almost 24 hours. Good food.
