Coco De Mer Boutique Hotel

A nice and relaxed stay with a comfortable room and bathtub, friendly staff, a beautiful garden, and a great location very close to the beach, even though the breakfast was good but fairly simple and Ballito itself felt more like a quiet, family-oriented place.

Didn't stay long but was impressed with pretty much everything. View was amazing of the crashing waves.

The sound travels in the hotel. So if there are screaming children in the main area, it was almost like they were in the room with you.

Rooms are comfortable, nice setting and private. Dinner on the premisis and great breakfast.

I left my mobile phone charger in the room. When I phoned on the same day of checkout I was told there was someone in the room and reception would phone back. When I chased them they told me there was no charger! They really couldnt have cared. If you stay just make sure you dont leave anything lying around :)

Staff were all amazing, the premises are superb, and so close to the beach, a mere 3 minute walk.

The Spa was closed on a Sunday, which was a pity, especially since the Spa is getting advertising via the hotel, so therefore we see it as an extension of the hotel and not a separate entity. TV stations were murky.

If you want to party, this is the place ... if you want a quiet weekend break at the seaside, avoid this at all costs.Yes, we did ask for the room over the restaurant area (to be able to "just" view the ocean). But we were told noise will die down at 22:00 (and it went on until 02:00) on Saturday night, while on Sunday the "midday/lunch" entertainment went on until 18:00 ... so we could not even benefit the balcony that look out towards the ocean (as the noise was just too much).

On arrival, we were greeted warmly, parking was perfect and undercover, and check-in took a few minutes. Maybe drinks on arrival is an option.Perfect location, just a walk down to the beach. We did not book the ocean view room; however, we enjoyed the lush surroundings and the tranquil atmosphere.The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel staff were very friendly. Your restaurant offers delicious meals, your menu including your sushi option was very impressive. Breakfast was very enjoyable with a good variety of options to choose.I was celebrating my birthday and was treated to a lovely complimentary treat of your delicious cheesecake. Many thanks to you and your friendly staff for making this day extra special.We had a very comfortable stay at Coco De Mer and would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a relaxing beach holiday or a week-end getaway.

Chef at Flamma Grill does not know the difference between rare and medium rare steak.Singer / entertainer at swimming pool started late.Bracket for hand towel in bathroom was brokenKitchen was sanitized with chemicals in breakfast time so no special order for egss could be taken. Why not wait after ten?Not as good experience as previous stays

Everything was just exceptional. From the security guard to reception to the restaurant. Friendly people and readily assisted me with everything I needed. I truly enjoyed my stay. Exceptional and yummy breakfast ? ? ?

Breakfast was brilliant , restaurant was excellent. There was a leak on our roof- Room 2-and the entire night the rain fell on the plafon and make a terrible noice.The entire plafon was damaged . Lady at reception just said she can not move us , will send a contractor to have a look etc..

Great size rooms lovely showers and very comfortable bed. The bar staff were absolutely brilliant ? went above and beyond with service- bar food very good ?

Beautiful location, garden, next to beach and quiet very modern charming rooms. Staff very friendly, comfortable beds and many pillows. Small but nice pool. Dinner extravagant in choices from sushi to great steak and giant schrimps.

the location is excellent, the hotel is really good. Room is large and clean, all what you need is in the venue - bar/restaurant/spa and seaside.

considering guests are coming from all over the world it is good to install power supply for different sockets. however I've got an adapter from reception - thanks them for that

Fiamma breakfasts and food presentation aweful (flies, dirty servicing spoons, floor filthy from night before, dirty tables, poor service, understaffed, managers need training, not attentive, staff need grooming and new uniforms. No place to lie at the pool and relax Too busy and crowded with public Noisy parking Lift broke down while I was in it- no apology No air conditioning in the hotel areas, restaurant, pool bar- only in rooms (aircon filters need to be checked/changed) Shower was leaking
