Wahroonga Furnished Apartments

Great early check in. Spacious unit.

Poor parking. Room a bit old smelling. Exy at $1500 for a week though over Chrissy. And at least a 15 minute walk to anything.

It was a great place, but for my budget, it was a bit high

It doesn't have any cleaning , also, because of the money, it suppose to ofer breakfast as well.

Parking on site. Extremely well equipped- every comfort catered for. Clean and quiet

The property is well positioned to catch public transport

Very little hot water, as a couple staying only one of us cold have a hot shower as the hot water kept running out and if you plugged the iron in the power points on one side of the unit would trip, we had to be aware of what we had plugged in phone chargers etc.

The apartment was fully equipped. Everything was in place. Everything working.

The traffic noise on the Pacific Highway was horrendous. We could not sleep with a window open. We had stayed there before but that time we were facing the side street and the building blocked some of the noise. We didn't realise how bad it was at the front of the building. Every time an ambulance entered the Highway (from the ambulance station near by), from a side street they turned th siren on and we would wake with a fright. Some days multiple times in an hour. The bed needs replacing. The side walls of the mattress hang over the base so the sides would slant down off the bed and we spend a lot of time trying to move to the middle of the bed so we did not roll out. I know it was not serviced but we were there for 13 nights and the sheets were never changed. No spares in the apartment. I expect we could have asked but with what we paid we did not feel we should be washing or changing sheets. There were 2 sets of towels for 3 weeks. The managers were friendly and ran the place well although we were a little scared of them. There seemed to be lots of rules. The sofa bed in the lounge to watch TV was awful. It had also collapsed which made it hard to get out of. There was a metal ridge under your knees with the seat part under your bottom many centimetres sunken below. We would stay their again but only if we could get accomodation facing the side road or the back of the building. There is a huge amount of upgrading that needs to be done in the bathroom, sliding door tracks and screens, on the terraced garden and general maintenance. It was good that I had a can of WD40 with me. Last but not least the shower was terrible with so little water you had to move around to rince the soap off. The best thing was the hot water. That has not been upgraded to the luke warm stuff in modern houses.

Beds are not good. The spring is horribly worn. My back was sore after just 1 night sleep

Noise from hospital ambulance sirens…can’t do much about that!

Very roomy and nice and clean. It was very comfortable stay.

The location of this place is very good, public transport is within walking distance, Westfield Hornsby is not far away either. We have stayed here a few times. The staff are amazing, very helpful and go out of their way to accommodate your needs. The property has a lift. The beds are very comfy, though we booked a King room and got a Queen bed this time. The kitchen in the little apartment was equipped with everything you need.

Parking in the underground carpark is always a bit of an issue, as it is a first come/first serve basis. Street parking is available, but very limited.

Close to facilities we were visiting

Lobby area smelt quite badly of cooking smells from permanent residents. Thankfully the apartment did not smell.

We recently stayed at Wahroonga Furnished Apartments and will be back again. Great value for money, clean, comfortable, Bev and Toby were more than accommodating. The tour through the room, the photo albums out in the common area were absolutely exceptional. You can tell that these people care and have a great level of pride in their business!

Great location handy to family and roads to freeways. We brought our own breakfast supplies to the furnished apartment and dined out at local venues.

That a reserved parking spot was not provided. If you returned after 7pm all spots had been used as there are only about 10 spaces and over 25 apartments in the complex. Having to park down a hilly street (Woolcott Avenue) and walk back to the apartment was not ideal as seniors (70+).

Location and cleanliness

Kitchen facility, no place to dry dishes.

Common longe areas, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, security entrance, foyers very inviting

No lid for bin, limited bench space in kitchen, coffee mugs were too small, no full length mirror

Bev and Toby are very, professional and extremely helpful. The place is spacious. Plenty of water pressure on hot showers. Bev was very quick to reply on our phone calls. Wifi and Netflix are great.

Cleanliness and location plus the friendliness of on site staff.

Amazing staff/ supervisors; very comfortable.

The fourth floor had a strong cooking smell all week; it was okay at first but got a bit much when it persisted all week.

The location is great, within walking distance to Waitara train station, shops are a little further away though. Overall the apartment is very nice with all amenities and the staff was great.

The parking situation is not ideal, it is fist come first serve and sometimes you end up having to park on the street with limited spaces in the underground carpark. That can be a bit inconvenient.

Quiet, clean, warm, and friendly.

I was unable to hook my PlayStation on to the wifi. So I could not use my streaming services. Had to hotspot my phone data.
