Golden Chain Aalana Motor Inn

The manager who appeared not to have a clue what he was doing.

Location was fine

Staff was rude bordering on nasty, in one room no clean linen for second night arm chairs in one room were filthy, tiny ancient fridge, no milk or coffee in one room for second night, was rudely chastised for parking on uncempt grassy area when the motel according to signage was full and I was I think doing the right thing as I was towing a trailer and did not want to disadvantage other guests by taking thier park, all in all a very unpleasant accomodation so would never stay there again many nicer places in Cowra, do yourself a favour get rid of you NASTY "cleaner"

The Aalana Motel was clean and comfortable for a one night stay. It is well located in the main street and has convenient parking. Would stay again.

Handy location for motorcycle touring, plenty of parking, close to hotel and cafe for breakfastComfortable beds and roomy bathroom - friendly and helpful staff

clean neat and bed was very comfortable.

The cleaning spray smell

Proximity to main area of the town, and ease of check in. Bed very.comfortable, and shower was great!

Lots of space, everything was very clean and tidy

A little bit dated but honestly didn’t matter. The cleanliness and space made up for it.

We weren't informed about the breakfast when we check in and the next morning the Office was locked.

The bathroom light switch also controlled the exhaust fan, which made a loud roar. This meant that if one of us switched on the light in the bathroom during the night the other one was awakened. If one didn't turn on the light to avoid awakening the other it meant groping around in the total dark in an unfamiliar place. This ruined our stay.

Very convenient Main Street property, easy to walk around town. Quiet. Air con worked well and room was very clean and comfortable. Fresh milk provided for tea and coffee. Breakfast boxes were great.

Nice big room, big bathroom, separate toilet, comfy bed, lounge chair, tea & coffee, breakfast cafe right across the road, walkable & centrally located but nice and quiet to sleep.

Check-in was marvelous

The unit bathroom had a persistent sewage smell. It marred an otherwise well cared for property.

Quiet, clean no frills accommodation. Reasonably spacious comfortable room. Good breakfast cafe across the road.

Exhaust fan in bathroom was not that efficient so after a shower the floor tiles in the bathroom had condensation on them and were slippery. Parking space a bit tight for corner rooms.

We had BYO breakfast, but there is a great little cafe over the road

The TV remote didn't work. Thought the AC was pretty ordinary. It would have been damn hot in the summer

Massive room that easily fit our family of 5 in. Great location and easy to find.

The room is very spacious and clean. The facilities provided were pretty good for what I needed. It is very close to a restaurant, a cafe and KFC. All other restaurants and shops are within the walking distance.

Nothing to think about. This is not related to Aalana Motor Inn. If you don't drive, it is not easy to get a taxi.

Highly recommend the Aalana as a motel to stay in if you are in Cowra. An older style motel, which is typical of Australian country towns, but very comfortable and close to various amenities. Comfortable bed and the usual motel room inclusions. Friendly and helpful staff.

late check in

Was 1hr late for check in as was not host fault but delivery for clean linen.

Clean and simple, and good location.

The garbos going nuts at 6.30am

Huge room, great bathroom, and best of all 2 armchairs to sit I whilst watching TV.Not many places bother about armchairs, and expect you to sit on the bed.All in all great.

Reception staff lovely. Room good size, nice and clean. Close to main area for eateries and shopping.

Advertised as free WiFi included, however could not connect as WiFi expander did not cover from reception to our room. No 1, so literally a few doors from reception. All the other units would have had the same issue as further away from reception. Either provide more effective connection capability or don't advise included and risk losing business. Was very disappointed.
