Pros +
- Generally nice hotel. Some lacking items such and only one set of towels, no tooth brushes, no ironing board or iron (just a steamer), no room service. I would its more of a 3 star hotel with nice rooms. We had a Junior suite. The room was large.
- The aesthetics are nice, but pretty much all of Tulum is like this.
- Amazing beach club and the food was good. We also loved the location.
Cons -
- The food was overpriced and just okay. The rooms were much smaller than I expected. Overall, the whole place does not feel 4 stars.
- The room was extremely small and the bed was uncomfortable. We had a thin blanket and sheets so was cold most of the time. Since none of the windows open and there was no ventilation, the room was very stuffy. It was very basic. The room was also extremely noisy from the rooftop deck and outside traffic.
- There’s a theft taking place in this hotel. In the middle of our stay, cash disappeared from closed, zipped handbag left inside our room. At that time, we considered a possibility that it could have slipped at some point outside, and unfortunately didn’t pay enough attention to this.On the last day right before checkout, expensive watches were stolen from inside a closed backpack stored in the room, while we were out for breakfast. These items weren’t left in plain sight, they were deliberately stored and secured inside our bags kept in the room. When we reported this, management staff tried to sell a story that they have a “reliable security procedure” with two people (housekeeping and a security guard) entering the room for cleaning. However, cameras on the floor don’t cover room entrance areas, so there’re no recordings to check who actually enter the room. In reality, an increased number of people have access to room keys and enter without surveillance, while cameras conveniently don’t have any footage. Staff involved in this monitor when guests leave the room, enter it and search through bags and luggage for valuables. On several occasions, we noticed that things were in different spots compared to how we left them, although we kept “do not disturb” sign on the door. We’ve stayed in other hotels in Tulum, and this is by far the worst experience, with 0 security and lowest quality of staff. There is effectively no protection for guests personal belongings stored in the room. FYI There’re previous reports of theft in this hotel available on the internet.

The atmosphere was good welcome drink was great. The day I stayed it did rain but was still beautiful
Layout very open
The staff were extremely friendly, professional and personable. The hotel was building, especially the restaurant, beach area and pool. The food was the best in the hotel area.
Besides some wedding party guests who were loud to the late hours, the hotel itself was a beautiful experience.
They accommodated our last minute booking and even gave us a free upgrade! The front desk staff was so friendly. The hotel beautiful - loved the design! The beach club service terrific. Food was amazing and the rooftop bar was a plus! The free filtered water was a nice addition as well :)
nothing - everything was great!
Great location and facilities! The pool club is fantastic and rooftop bar is a great bonus. The staff are also great.
The rooms are small, with limited hooks and storage. The beds are very hard and also limited access to drinking water without paying $$.
Gorgeous place. Open and breeze flowing, beautiful design, amazing food, gorgeous pool, fabulous lounge chairs in front of a gorgeous ocean.
It was hard to get good hot water in the shower- it would get warm but not hot.
Beach, pool, sunset bar, environment.
Too loud music in the beach area, bad cocktails, mediocre food, uncommunicative staff.
The beach is beautiful. The private access is amazing with reservations for beach beds possible for hotel guests. Staff is very friendly. Location is very good. Walkable to lots of restaurants. Morning yoga is a nice added inclusion.
These is literally nowhere in the room to unpack anything. There were 4 hangars- no drawers, no shelving. Nowhere to put any toiletries. Nothing. The drink prices are outrageous in the rooftop bar. This is in all of Tulum. But charging $40 for a glass of wine is insane.
Everything looks even much better in real than on these awesome pics. We loved the food, the eating area in the sand, the lovely beach, the bench service at the beach, the lights at night, the super friendly staff, everything. Of course food was pricy but this one know coming here. Another highlight... for sure the outstanding yoga classes.
Beach access was great, and the service on the on the beach beds was top notch especially from David and Alberto. Best we had in Mexico. Hotel is really stilish and food is good :)
As mentioned by other reviews, the rooms are not very functional. No door to bathroom, no space to put your things or to dry things off
The staff was amazing. They called me by name since the first day.
No tv, and its needs a coffee machine in the room.
The space is nicely decorated, the pool and the beach area are very beautiful. The place is clean and organised and the personnel very kind.
The room minimalistic style goes to the extreme: there is no door between the bathroom/toilet and the bed area. We were a group of friends so that was not very comfortable. In our room there was no place to place the towels or the swimsuits to dry, which is problematic in a beach resort.
Great whatsapp response from staff
Beds, pillows & towels are bad quality
Location exceptionFacilities such as pools were stunningSpotlessly clean rooms and great air conditioningThe yoga classes and ice baths were fantasticReception staff were so friendly and helpful - went above and beyond with recommendations.Ambient music and atmosphere all day.
The menu was slightly limited and overpriced. The rooms could be improved with a mini fridge for drinks and Nespresso machine as coffee wasn’t available until 8 am at the bar.
Room was big and spacious, friendly and helpful staff. Great location in Tulum, not too loud and crazy. The beach was very clean and great place to spend all day lounging
Very picturesque, unique property , comfortable and friendly staff. In a great location and on the beach .
We had a little mishap, but the hotel did the right thing and fixed it . Thankful for their honesty and integrity.
Stunning beachfront location in the best part on Tulum Beach. The hotel boosts a modern minimalist style that allows focussing on the essentials: location, surrounding, food and the hospitality.
The capacity of the hotel is much larger than the number of sun beds on the beach and the pool.
