Pros +
- Really private location, beautiful scenery and a nice beach.
- The beach, the breakfast, the pool, the tub, the staff
- Nice beachfront hotel with sunbeds and beautiful beach. The restaurant is pretty well located on the seafront, very pleasant. As other things in Tulum the place is mixed with the jungle, with sandy paths to the rooms and animals showing up now and then. Good food in both restaurants, more on the expensive side but around Tulum's average. Rooms are super spacious and beds are super comfortable.
Cons -
- Due to the changes in the National Park where the hotel is located, it has become very difficult to get in and out, and the strictions make it quite inconvenient.
- Except for Edgar, who works at the reception, and the nice cleaning ladies, we had an ok experience with the staff. Restaurant orders were often missed, and the serving crew seemed not pleased all the time. Reception wouldn't go the extra steps to make sure we were enjoying it. No tips about Tulum and most of the questions were answered with a yes or no, without much more useful information for first timers. Could work on hospitality a bit more!

Loved the location and the atmosphere. Beach, jungle, and AC.WiFi is spotty but that might be a good thing.
Staff helpful , nice service at restaurant, but mostly very bad Internet connections everyday

The Friendly Staff.
Tax after Tax and no option to swim at the beach. I was really hoping to swim at the beach but the seaweed is piling up at the shore and made me not able to enjoy the beach. But the tax is a killer, almost paid like 2000 pesos on taxes for some environment bullshit and they not cleaning the beach is a big SCAM, just a money grab.
Great location with lovely beach. The quality of the beach experience is heavily dependent on the state of seaweed. We were lucky enough to arrive in early January to a beach free of seaweed. It did roll-in later in the week. Though this diminished the visual beauty a little, it didn't prevent us from fully enjoying swimming and hanging around the beach. The hotel provides a pleasant experience, where accommodation is very private and lovely to walk along the paths that interconnect the rooms to the entrance and restaurant. The front desk staff were very accommodating, helping us book rental bicycles, taxis, and excursions. The housekeeping, groundskeeping and maintenance staff kept the property looking great, and every interaction with them was a pleasure. The location is superb - a quick free tram ride to the Tulum ruins provides a lot to see, and the place feels safe. It's quiet at night, which is really important to me.
The included breakfast is SLOW, not because the restaurant staff don't work hard, buy because of inefficiency. We found that the whole breakfast process took about an hour a day, and by the end of our stay, we were highly displeased with the amount of our vacation spent waiting for our breakfast. Please, just setup a buffet. Let the servers circulate with fresh coffee and other extra offerings, but I should not devote a whole day of my 7 day vacation waiting for breakfast. Our other complaint with the restaurant was the amount of repetition of music. Spending HOURS waiting for food, being played the same 10 songs is really objectionable. We took every opportunity to go elsewhere for lunch or dinner so as to save our ears and our patience. Fortunately, there are a few good food opportunities just a few hundred meters away which provide much faster service and excellent food.
Excellent location, beautiful setting, and nice rooms. Beach is pristine. Landscaping on the property is so lush and beautiful. Everything well maintained and clean.
Rooms could use some more generous toweling, better water pressure/showerhead. The main issue with this property is the Hospitality. From arrival you are presented with a laundry list of extra charges that all need to be charged to your card individually. These are small amounts like government fees and for the reserve, as well as a $300 hold for the restaurant. Nothing alarming but the process is tedious involving separate transactions, signature verifications etc. The many rules are explained - about the wristbands (which need to be changed every day) up until your arrival in the room where there is a nespresso machine and you are told that you can have only one coffee a day from it... (the average daily rate at this time of year was +$500). While the front desk staff is super nice and welcoming, overall this sets a bad tone at arrival. I would suggest consolidating these charges at the least. This vibe is even worse in the Restaurant. The place is well staffed with about 4 or 5 people working the dining area, but nobody greets you and when you sit down it takes quite awhile for somebody to come by and provide menus or pour coffee, all while the staff gossip with eachother at the counter. Breakfast is included, and while decent, it is quite strict as to what constitutes an extra. For example, when asking for an espresso instead of american coffee they practically jump down your throat to tell you it'll be 200pesos, or if you want a fruit plate on the side. Complementary "starters" include some slices of whole wheat bread (lol). This extends to the beach club, which is on a positive note, is super comfortable with great suneds and cushions. But my do the staff seem to go out of their way to ignore you. While they walk up and down the beach they do not come and ask if you'd like anything until you waive them down. Even then we were met with a "kitchen is closing in ten minutes" message to deny us service...
Our patio was nicely furnished and had a lovely view of the beach, it was definitely worth upgrading our room.
Breakfast was a bit repetitive for those staying several days.
Nice staff Very well located on the beach
The restaurant but just my taste
Beautiful location right on the beach, private bungalows, easy access to other hotels and restaurants by walking on the beach
It’s difficult to get to Tulum Centro or elsewhere, you have to call a taxi which is expensive and takes a long time to arrive
The beach property and grounds were well maintained and peaceful.
As all the pathways are sand, its impossible to keep sand out of your room. The room was very clean but for some reason had little bits of water on the floor in a few places in our hut…you walk on it and suddenly its a bit of a muddy puddle. They all dried very quickly. I would suggest keeping a broom for the guests to use in the room so they can maintain the cleanliness as they see fit. This is not a complaint, just an observation that would have been helpful if we had a little broom in our own to clean up.
The staff was super friendly, the facilities were clean and comfortable and the location 11/10.
Honestly, nothing. The paths to the huts were white sand and it meant we had to carry our luggage, but other than that, it was a lovely stay
Loved the location. The beach access was great! The guys that worked the restaurant and bar were attentive, funny and very friendly. Juan and his partner were exceptional!!
Honestly, the pillow and bed were a bit stiff for my liking but my husband slept great!
Location, beach
For me, the most important thing in a hotel is relaxation, and I couldn't get any rest here. The floors in the rooms are very thin! My son and I were woken up at night by small crying children in the neighboring rooms, or by neighbors who started making noise at 7:30 in the morning. So if you like to sleep, this hotel is not for you.
Location, amazing room and view. One of the best beaches in Tulum.
Fantastic place ozve the edge of the jungle but worth the beach front. We saw many animals martial to this environment. Service was fantastic. Two great restaurants, Japanese and Mexican. Easy to get too close by resists and restaurants. Mayas pyramids walking distance from the hotel. Beautiful beach. ?️ also many other activities available around.
The beach very beautiful I liked so much, location hotel in zone hotel good location, the staff very friendly and helpful. Small hotel and everything is near the breakfast restaurant and beach.
Breakfast should be more better and with more choice not just choose one of the menu. Taxi so expensive, must rent a car or scooter if you don’t want so you will spend a lot of money on taxi service, but if you’re staying at hotel and no exit so it’s ok no need.
Location, peaceful private getaway. Beach was clean.
Nothing,
The property was very well located and was cute. The staff were very friendly.
there was a lizard in our room. The cleanliness was average, and the pool was very dirty and full of bugs. Lack of internet was a problem too.
