    Th experience overall was good:

The music program had not stated yet. The parties announced on wrong dates. Humidity in the rooms. And too expensive.

The property blends beautifully into nature, creating a very unique atmosphere. The main restaurant and the omakase restaurant were both excellent. We also enjoyed the wellness activities offered on site — yoga, Pilates, sound baths and the massage options were a highlight.

The hotel is a little too rural in certain aspects. It gets extremely dark at night and it’s genuinely difficult to navigate through the pathways to find your room — it almost feels like walking through a forest. We actually needed to warn the hotel to increase lighting because there are raccoons on the property as well, so moving around at night felt unsafe at times. Also, the mosquitos are a serious problem. Whether you’re generally sensitive or not, be prepared — even though they provide repellant, you will still get bitten constantly and you’ll be itching for days.

Nomade Tulum was an absolute dream. I went with my family for my bday. My brother and I shared a bungalow tent and it exceeded expectations. So clean, had AC, tent better than expected, dreamy outdoor bathroom. Our parents had a beachfront room which was epic and had a futon out front. The property itself was a dream. Jungle meets beach. Brimming with magic everywhere. So many magical details. The food, on site restaurants and daily (included) breakfast was wonderful. The workshops and sessions they offered were some of the best I'd done in a while. I did breath work, sound healing, yoga, (all free) and booked reiki through the spa. All the teachers were incredible and so healing. Staff was helpful, friendly, always available through WhatsApp, and cleaning service came every day. I could not have imagined a better place to be. Located towards the end of the hotel zone so you're right where you want to be by all the fun shops and restaurants. Hotel is right on the beach so you don't have to go far for that. We rented a car and there was free parking available just for the hotel. Probably only 25 cars max in their lot. I believe this might be the best hotel in Tulum. Thank you for everything!

Literally nothing - I would be crazy to write something here

Beautiful hotel , amazing rooms and nice staff .. also good food and nice service

The morning seaweed cleaning machine woke us up every morning at 8 am like we were in military rather than vacation … so if you want to have a beach front room dont watch out for seaweed season. !

Bliss at its bestFrom the moment we arrived at Nomade Tulum, we were greeted with warm smiles and taken to our rooms ( one jungle bungalow & one beachfront) The staff, particularly concierge Ricardo, Tito, Piraña ( next time were going spearfishing! ), Sol at journeys, and the never stop beach cleaning team : one gentlemen from Acapulco & one from Honduras plus all the waiters by the beach and at both restaurants: Macondo and la Popular plus Antonio Capitan de meseros were incredibly helpful and attentive throughout our entire stay. The beachfront location was breathtaking, and we loved waking up to the sound of the ocean waves and watch pelicans fish all day. The whole stay left us feeling rejuvenated. The food was exceptional, from the superb breakfast ( try the Croque madame , a must) to the chef's special at the restaurant La popular ( Amazing cuisine with some of the best fish dishes not only in Tulum, in the Country). We particularly enjoyed the Tuna tartare by the beach)).Rooms where always impeccably done and the housekeeping team is invisible. If looking to pamper yourself in a quiet amazing stretch of the most beautiful beach in Tulum without lound music and obnoxious people ( I strongly recommend to leave the kids at home or go to a different hotel if your planning to bring them here. This is a serene environment, surrounded of wellness activities and a cool vibe.We dont need kids jumping by the pool or watching cartoons over moms mobile phone. If yours are over 16 and can relate to yoga and a pyshodelic breathing classes ( which by the way was incredible) and are well behaved then bring them to connect with nature and a cool vibe, otherwise, find an all inclusive in Cancun.Overall , our experience was outstanding, and we would highly recommend this resort to anyone seeking a relaxing and memorable getaway."Cannot wait to get back

    Beautiful well kept

We had ratcoons coming into our tent through holes behind furniture and keeping us up at night

    Natura and beach is wonderful

Be ready to clean your room yourself even if it is premier suite but don't forget to put tips in envelopes they put everywhere. That is their only definition of service very rude and helpless reception. We had mold in our villa it was miserable experience.

    Great Beach interesting interior design

Very rude and careless reception. The villa that we got was right on the road and it smelled of mold and had problems with the cloak; they didn’t care at all and were rude in communication.

Amazing at first we where concerned when we realise one of the rooms we booked was tent but I can ensure you it really is a 5 star experience. Bed was massive and everything worked as it should every detail is carefully crafted. Breakfast was incredible and what they give us which was included in hotel booking was enough. Staff are really friendly we also booked Villa for my family and it was great experience for them too turned out there was more than enough room to sleep 5 adults and 1 child there. All the health and wellness activities where great too. Truly amazing experience worth every penny spent

The facilities and location of the hotel are beautiful although the hygiene and cleanliness of the place was bad

The hygiene of the place was horrible. Had blood stains on my bed sheets for three days in a row never changed although I had asked housekeeping, the reception staff, and the hotel site manager to have them changed. I also provided pictures of the blood stains to the hotel manager and the sheets were still not changed for 3 days despite me going to reception repeatedly. The hotel staff reception are always high while on duty - so makes it difficult to get anything done. You have to make the same request over three times. (The staff by the beach though are excellent). We also got food poisoning from the hotel food or coffee. There was a doctor on call visiting several rooms in the hotel during our stay for the same reason (rotavirus or food poisoning)

    The restaurants

We booked the ‘Beach Front Suite’ for 1000 euros per night, but when we arrived, we were given a different room category, the ‘Arena’ room, which was 200 euros cheaper. When we asked the manager to resolve the issue, he told us that the room we booked was not available and that it was unfortunately out of their control. We requested a refund for the difference, but after promising to look into it, he disappeared. The next day, when we went to find him, we were told at the reception that he was absent and never responded to any of the messages we sent. We felt deceived, as we paid more for a cheaper room. This experience was a huge disappointment, and after reading the reviews on Booking, I saw that this has happened to others as well. I never expected this from the most well-known hotel in Tulum.

    1KarampelasPosted on: 3-7-2025

    The location

We booked the ‘Jungle Room’ for 800 euros per night, and our experience was disappointing in every way. The room was extremely small and nothing like the photos we saw on the platform. There was mold in the bathroom, the furniture was broken, and the balcony door wouldn’t close properly, which let in a lot of mosquitoes. We couldn’t sleep at all due to the pests, and to make matters worse, we found two cockroaches in the bathroom. The room wasn’t worth even half the price we paid. It was a real disappointment, and I feel like it was a complete scam. I would not recommend it to anyone.

The breakfast is great. The rooms are great. The gardens between the ruins are perfect. It is evident that there is someone checking every detail in the hotel.

They could add personal lights in each table at night in the restaurant. Don't you notice everybody using their phone's light to see the food? The signs in the paths between the bedrooms could be much better. Everybody gets lost the first days. And the emergency exit path should be marked much more. I can't imagine what would happen if there is a real emergency.

The included breakfast was amazing. Our room was so nice and the balcony was private and secluded so it was such a nice little escape. Loved having the plunge pool on our balcony as it was a little overcast and misty when we stayed so being out on our pool in the rain was such a cool experience.

Wish there were a little more dining options that are available at later times.

I absolutely loved the facilities at the beach. Real beds, great service, in front of an ocean that seems like you died and went to heaven. The restaurant La Polular is the perfect place to eat clean and delicious food, and they provide live music every day at 2pm. I listened to local music and live eletronic music of different styles and absolutely loved it. 10/10I stayed at the deluxe tent and it was aaaaamazing. Air conditioning actually works in spite of being a tent with screens, I don't know how they were able to achieve this, but I appreciate it. The outdoor bathroom was a bit a hassle when it comes to using the toilet and bugs come right at us (I'm allergic and I basically had to bathe myself in bug repellent all the time, not just for this. But if you don't like this, maybe an inside bathroom is better for you). Nonetheless, showering on the outside was an special experience, I absolutely loved it. The sheets embrace you on your sleep, the bed is very comfortable, the room is beautifully decorated. The only thing I missed was a drawer cabinet, the shelves available were not practical to unpack. 9.5/10The amenities are varied and I didn't take part in any wellness event, so I can't really say if they were good. What I can tell you is that a friend of mine had recommended this hotel for us and she did use these facilities and this was one of the reasons why she liked this hotel in particular.Beatiful hotel as a whole, they are nestled within the nature and it feels great walking among trees and sand corridors, it does create a great getaway ambience. It has everything: the real nature and pure luxury very well combined. 10/10Now, about the parties. Tulum as a whole has an eletronic music season between December and January (I went from Jan 10-16) and parties happen everyday during sunset hours and during the night.

I didn't like the concierge that was alloted to me. I asked her to make reservations and all I heard was "I'm running out of battery", "this place takes too long to answer".I just gave up and made the reservations myself over Google Maps, I don't understand what the big problem was. My friend who recommended this hotel used the concierge for everything, so.... I'm not sure what happened to this concierge who was assigned to me. 0/10

We enjoyed beautiful and authentic bungalow in green green jungle. Unforgettable activities such as yoga, breath works, shibari etc. Just 1 minute to the beach and comfortable beach club. Management was attentive to details and requests. Highly recommend!

Super green jungle, comfortable rooms, tasty food
