    • The staff was friendly and helpful, the location on the beach was wonderful, hotel amenities were excellent too.
    • The hotel staff were amazing, kind, helpful, and very accommodating and amazing bartender. Authentic foods and wood fired pizza were both delicious. Gorgeous ocean views. Clean rooms with comfy beds.
    • The view of the beach was so beautiful!¿¿

    Cons -

    • the phone did not work, it was supposed to be fixed the next day we arrived, roaches every where, mosquitoes biting all night, bogus charges by the staff, in short this is a horrible hotel and I do not recommend it at all, too bad I can't rate it a zero.
    • Difficult to contact prior to arrival. Difficult to access the town.
    • Longer dirt road to the entrance. Maybe five minutes total, but you had to go slow. Ten minutes to town after that. Ocean view with dock was stunning! But its not a swimming area- shallow water with rocks for a while. But did enjoy the view + kayaking

In a word, everything. This hotel exceeded all my expectations and then some. I will recommend to everyone. I will definitely be going back!

Location and size of hotel was perfect.

Rooms are a bit tired looking and could use a deep cleaning. Our biggest complaint is our dinner at the restaurant was terrible. Overpriced, uninteresting, and pour quality. The so called grilled veg tasted microwaved and so did the skirt steak. The red sauce on the side of pasta tasted like soap. They replaced it with simple butter on noodles and it was inedible because of the amount of salt. The menu had only a fraction of what other reviews describe so I’m not sure what was going on behind the scenes. We went to Tulum to eat after that. We were also disappointed our ground unit didn’t have a hammock when the photos show one. Finally, and no fault of the hotel but my son got stung/bitten by a sand spider or scorpion in front of the hotel so be careful.

Stunning location and the staff were very friendly.

Sadly there were quite a lot thingsPlunge pool was a cold, stagnant bath. There was no hot water. When we informed reception, it did improve from cold to tepid. Toilet would not flush and took 3 trips to reception to get it fixed. Towels were old and stainedHad to go to reception every day to request coffee pods for the coffee machine in our room.

The property was beautiful! Clean and beachfront. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The view from our room was amazing! Superior beach front

Everything was beautiful. The seaweed was bad but that’s just the season for it. The staff was cleaning it daily.

Do not stay at this hotel.

Do not stay here. We tried to stay here for six nights in the middle of June and had to leave after two nights. The rooms are dirty including soiled sheets, there is no hot water, the screens to the balcony are broken which allow lizards and other wildlife to come into the rooms. Please be advised that there are thick mounds of seaweed on the beach that give the entire property a disgusting odor. The beach is completely not useable. Also- this is not an all inclusive resort. Do not let photos trick you. There are two dirty pools with no shaded covering. There is no beach service. The hotel is off the beaten path but not in a way that makes it easy to get to anything else. The entire hotel is in serious need of a facelift. We were supposed to stay for six nights and had to leave after two days because my wife’s Renaud’s flared due to the lack of hot water. They refused to give us a refund for the other four nights- probably because they are in serious financial trouble due to the disrepair and mismanagement of their properties. They have now stopped responding to our messages. We are now going to have to dispute the charges to get our money back. I would definitely book a hotel pretty much anywhere else in tulum. Trust me. Do not make the same mistake we did. Do not stay here.

This is a gorgeous property with amazing views and friendly staff. Very clean. Room was literally just steps from the beach. Plenty of beach chairs. Will definitely be returning!

Convenient location. Staff was wonderful and attentive. Delicious breakfast included.

AC in room hard to regulate temperature

Very peaceful, quiet and nicely designed boutique hotel. Really enjoyed our stay with our little one. We will definitely be back ❤️

The food at the property is mostly international cuisine: very expensive and not great quality, would have preferred more local options.Seaweed situation was really bad, I know this is not the hotel’s fault but it made the beach experience a little less likable.

The location was beautiful in quiet Tankah Bay. It was away from the crowds but close to so many wonderful sites. The hotel is across the street from Casa Cenote, which was an added bonus! We went for swims there multiple times. We loved it here. We had an ocean view room with a plunge pool, which was wonderful! We had some great meals here as well. The wood fire grilled lamb rack was a standout! There were a few other restaurants in the area too, if you wanted a change but didn’t want to drive into Tulum. Staff was very gracious.

Service could be slow at times, but the food was always worth the wait!

The staff is amazing, everybody was very nice and helpful. The restaurant is the best of the 3 nearby. Good selection of food for breakfast and lunch. The pizza was a nice surprise, delicious. The view from the room is amazing.

The sargassum was annoying but the hotel staff did their best to keep it as manageable as possible.

    10SarahPosted on: 4-2-2025

Mereva exceeded my expectations, I absolutely loved my stay here, I immediately felt relaxed as soon as I walked in. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Theres complimentary soft drinks, water and coconut water in the in room mini fridge and gets topped up daily. Theres also a cute little cenote about 1min walk from the hotel. If you want to explore town, do make sure you have a rental car, otherwise you could get stung for taxi ride of 450mxn each way. All in all, I would come back again.
