Beautiful. Even better than the photos and the staff was excellent. Breakfast was complimentary and delicious. Nothing beats breakfast views by the ocean.

Located at the end of a long bumpy road which we didnt know before

Nauria was the best at this hotel. If more hotels had her at the helm they would be fantastic also. She is O’Tulum. She is wait makes this hotel amazing.

    Breakfast could have more fruit.

The staff was amazingggg! The restaurant and staff at the restaurant were also amazing!!! The receptionist makes you feel welcome and safe!

More pool swaddles on site. The staff did great constantly cleaning them but, because of the location , flies and leaves constantly fall into the water and you don’t want to bother staff for something so small.

Clean, organized and quiet. Staffs are friendly.

    Clean and organized.

    Super friendly staff

Pictures need to be updated on the site, completely different from what it looks like. Needs to be renovated, needs a lot of TLC.

I liked that I only booked two nights, otherwise I would have left sooner. The shrimp pasta was pretty good. And the allow pets but that’s it.

Where to start… the check in was awful. Signing a leasehold of over 5 pages. I’ve stayed in 5-star hotels around the world and never had to dealt with a leasehold agreement, requested a copy of my credit card in case of fraud, had to pay an extra pet fee which wasn’t mentioned beforehand and told just after signing the contract. A whole page of extra charges for washing the linen if stayed, and once you get to the room, all the linen is old and stained. The page of extra charges even include one in case you lose the keychain! A really terrible first impression which if it wasn’t for a long haul flight I would have actually refused to sign and just find accommodation elsewhere.Very run down and outdated overall. Rotten wood paths which felt like an accident waiting to happen. Lack of immediate generator after a power cut. Poor restaurant room service. The pools felt like dirty puddle water tanks. The cenote or lagoons feel more clean. The beach itself was impossible to use. Though they offer you water shoes to avoid destroying your feet, it’s hard to walk to the water. It’s hard to walk to the loungers. The loungers falling to pieces. The only key USP was it being beachfront but nowhere is it mentioned it’s in a rocky beach. I won’t mention sargazo cause it’s a natural thing, but I will mention that the senior host pointed out lots of plastic by the beach and instead of having her staff pick it up, she just said “oh it’s not ours, it’s brought by the tide”. In the three days of our stay no one other than another guest picked up all the rubbish. Shocking! The actual hotel location is another massive con. The worst unpaved road drive of +12 mins to get to it, plus far away from any attractions, shops, restaurants. They really should warn or suggest guests to drive in a 4x4 or quad bikes. It’s like driving in actual craters. The room itself was okay size, but after signing the contract I expected it immaculate and oh boy! Stains everywhere. Cold water only!

Loved the view the staff was super helpful from booking to the end of the stay. Loved the intimate environment. We were celebrating a birthday and they set up balloons In The room. It was so sweet and nice.

The room could have been cared for a bit more when it comes to cleanliness. The bathroom specifically needed much more cleaning.

    5raguiPosted on: 1-27-2025

The room was comfortable and the hotel itself was quite pleasant

The whole interaction with the property leaves a lot to be desired1. We booked with a pet and when we arrived they wanted M$1000. The main area where you book (screenshot available) says pets welcome but doesn't mention the fee, and while it's true that, at the very bottom, after 3 pages of scrolling there is a mention that there *may* be a fee, it doesn't say how much. This is deceptive. If you're going to charge a fee, be upfront about it2. I kid you not when I say I had to sign 14 times to register. I bought houses with less signatures3. While booking and elsewhere give you a number to call the property; that number does not work. It only works if you contact them via whatsapp ... something that is not mentioned anywhere

    4AntoniettaPosted on: 1-14-2025

They set up a cute little balloon display for a birthday.

The room was dirty, the property is not being kept up, our private plunge pool did not have enough water in it, it was dirty, and it would not heat up. The windows have never been cleaned both in the bar, café and rooms, and the staircases seemed like they were going to break at any moment. I would not go here again. Also, it’s very far from anything. And you have to argue with the hotel staff next-door in order to walk along the beach.

    Beach front

BE CAREFUL! The staff was unhelpful and, to be honest, incompetent. The airport-to-hotel transfer was not available at the scheduled time, forcing us to find alternative transportation. We faced the same issue on the return trip from the hotel to the airport, almost missing our flight. The location of the hotel is extremely inconvenient.Breakfast was scheduled for 7:30 AM, but when we arrived at the restaurant, it was full of dirty dishes from the previous day. While the food was decent and the staff were kind, the overall experience was horrible. There are many other better hotels in Tulum available for the same price.

    2ChrisPosted on: 12-24-2024

It was a quiet place, would maybe be good for older couples who don't want anything else but stroll along the beach. But there are better hotels in the same area, and actually better areas in general to stay while you're visiting Tulum. The price-performance just wasn't there, nor is it even close to being a 5-star establishment as they call themselves. The restaurant was decent though.

The hotel needs renovating and it shows. The room's floor and balcony are not being cleaned and they don't even provide slippers. Cleaning staff had left nail clippings and hairs by the sink from previous guests. The location is bad - no nearby beach is accessible for swimming, and the road to the hotel is a constant mess with potholes like you're driving on the moon. If you decide to stay there anyway, I suggest renting a car - SUV preferably. The ride off the highway is long and bumpy, taxi drivers will charge you so much more just to get to and from the hotel, and might even deny you service. You're better off staying in the "Zona Hotelera" - much nicer surroundings. The price is too high for what you get and it certainly is not up to a 5 star hotel standard. ! Lastly, they have this scam where they will try to make you pay extra for "dirty towels and sheets", even if they've been used normally. That's when the otherwise nice and polite staff turn nasty, and even go as far as trying to fabricate lies to support their claim. Horrible to have to deal with that when you're just trying to enjoy your vacation.

Staff was extremely nice ,great customer service

The place needs to be updated, beach needs to be cleaned

    1RannyPosted on: 12-3-2024

    Don't get near

Far away on a dirt road with bumps and mad. 2miles. Floor in the bathroom is wood and broken with mold. No shade. No AC in the dining room. Look neglected all over. We left 2 days before the end. Couldn't stay.

    7PierrePosted on: 11-24-2024

The hotel itself is actually quite good, with a great view, pools and very comfortable bedrooms

The huge issue is its location, not only is it pretty far from the good parts of Tulum, the taxi are also very expensive, and worst of all the road to get to the hotel is the absolute worst road I have ever seen in my life. It is so bad that one of our taxis bringing us back (for an already horribly expensive price) refused to continue midway through, tried to make us pay double, and threatened to have the police come and arrest us if we did not pay double. We eventually managed to get out of the taxi by paying him more than originally agreed, and had to walk 20 minutes in the dark. The taxi number was 1144, avoid him at all cost

    5SilviaPosted on: 10-30-2024

The restaurant’s food was a bit expensive but delicious. The staff at the restaurant were customer service oriented. The not private swimming pool was cleaned.

That the hotel don’t mentioned in its ad the condition of the road leading to the hotel, had deep potholes making walking and driving extremely challenging. This cause delays and higher taxi fees or taxis refusing to take to this hotel. Not happy about that. Had to walk far to be able to swim as the beach at the hotel was a reef.

It’s small hotel, in the nature, it’s was very quiet place, with good commodation

    4FrancescaPosted on: 8-23-2024

Do not be fooled by the pictures !

Felt like a scam, all the bad reviews we read before going turned out to be true: stained towels and bedsheets, we didn’t get in any of the pool as they had not been cleaned in a very long time, the beach is not accessible (there is a reason why there is only a couple pictures) and I can’t stress enough how bad the restaurant was
