Outside of the hotel looked pretty rundown. And the pool is super small. I also had a flea in the room at least one that I saw.
Location was OK. Not extra ordinary. After 7, the road next to it is quite scary!
Not that clean, very basic breakfast.
I stayed at this hotel for one night with my boyfriend and had a truly wonderful experience. Everything was beautiful from start to finish. The parking was very convenient, and the check-in and check-out process was easy and smooth. The room was spacious, comfortable, and exactly as shown in the photos on Booking, which we really appreciated.Breakfast was absolutely sublime, served on the terrace with a stunning view. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, always smiling and happy to help. The location is another big plus: the hotel is very close to the center of Tulum and within walking distance of the Tulum ruins, which made exploring the area extremely easy.Overall, it was a relaxing, romantic, and perfectly organized stay. We felt very comfortable and would happily come back.
1. Getting to go to a cenote.2. Roof top dining and swimming.3. Servers were attentive.4. The hotel was all-inclusive with the option purchased. The food being readily available helped.
Uncomfortable bed. Ill-equipped room. No-frills hotel. Severe communication barrier - staff didn't speak English and we had to communicate with difficulty over translator apps. Toilet was not functioning when we arrived. Limited food choices. Difficult entrance to the hotel driveway and difficult parking. Limited parking. Too many things were below acceptability.Interacting with the reluctant employees was like trying to work through red tape. For example, the employees would not book the cenote trip and tried telling us we could not go as the booking needed to be made 1 day in advance. It turned out to be just foot-dragging as one of teceptionists was able to make the booking on a whim for the same day, starting conveniently in 2 hours.
Food was not the best choice. Location was OK, we drove a jeep, so it was not big deal, but hard to locate hotel itself.
All inclusive was not like all other all inclusive I see. Choice of only 5-6 buffet Mexican style items and some juice mixed with water are not best all inclusive options. Bar cocktail is not what you usually get in Real All inclusive hotels. You usual drinks are not teasted what they should be. Teast different. I have tried pure vodka made in Mexico at the bar and let me tell you- that is not the vodka at all! Yes it was alcohol, but not vodka! Constant repairs at the dining area are very noisy. This hotel must be 1 star hotel at best. Rooms were comfy. Staff was great, very friendly and helpful. If I go with my family to Tulum again, I will choose entire villa rental for 7 days and food from local restaurants and all together it will cost me less compare all inclusive package with all limitations in this hotel, plus food will be much better choice as well the bars would have better drinks. Don't get me wrong, food was fresh, but choices were so limited. That all inclusive plan should be - breakfast included. That all. We had great time in Tulum. We choose to eat at restaurants , their food choices are incomparable to the hotel. We discovered lots of interesting places. So all in all our vacation was not ruined by the hotel and its food and drinks. Probably for local people this hotel is good choice of food and relaxation, but it was not the type of our liking.
The staff were super friendly and helpful. The food was delightful. It’s the perfect place for a quick getaway to detach from reality.
It’s a little far out from everything, but if you don’t want to do any excursions and just want to chill or work it’s perfect.
I liked:- the spacious room- the rooftop relaxing area (particularly the hammocks)- the wrist-band room keys- the beautiful decor of the property
- Poor breakfast; there was no variation and the baked goods were disappointing- Disappointing WiFi; very poor reception and max speed clocked at 15mbps- Lack of amenities in the room like hair dryer, iron, tea/coffee, minibar- The flush lever/handle of the toilet in our room fell off several times and we had to fix it ourselves
Great location in Tulum closely located to the Tulum ruins and Tulum Centro. The roof top pool was amazing. Food was also very good felt closer toMore authentic Mexican rather than an overwhelming American or European style buffet at other all inclusive hotels
Bed was a little stiff than I normally like but I still slept very well
I didn’t like it I stay one night and went to another hotel didn’t feel safe. I had booked it for 4 days loss money no refund.
I didn’t like the property it was surrounded by abandoned buildings and cars. The wildlife jungle like outside was scary. The food was terrible something they called a buffet limited to noodles and fruit.
Across the street from the Tulum Ruins. Convenient, clean, and safe. The rooftop pool is nice, and breakfast was good also.
Room cute. Hammock in room. Cleanliness pretty good. A/C & fan in room.
Food quality. No entertainment, like 1 man band. No Mosquito net. Toilet cant flush 2x in a row. Shower head didn't work well.1 night alcohol tasted like there was gasoline in my drink.
Beautiful rooftop for meals and bar with swimming pool. Rooms spacious and airy. Very friendly staff at reception. GOOD selection of TV
Shower head iffy.
Lovely place! Slightly out of town so be prepared for that. All inclusive isn’t a usual but enough choice to get you through a meal. Don’t book excursions at the desk, we found that to be misleading and a rip off
Close to the beach
Was difficult to find the hotel ,because doesn’t have advertising on the AVe and the public transportation was expensive to move around
The room was nice and the rooftop restaurant and pool were beautiful. The views were amazing
The bathroom was not as clean as I would expect. We asked the desk clerk to call us a cab and he somehow could only find one that was twice the price it would normally be. We dragged our suitcases out to the road and hailed a cab for half the price. Not impressed
The place was very close to the ruins which was the main reason why I stayed here. Once you learn about the schedule of the "collectivos" (public bus), it feels less isolated from the city. The sunset above the forest was very pretty.
There is a clear lack of management on this place. The staff, besides being nice and attentive, was poorly trained (or not at all). The bar tenders didn't know about the most basic mixtures (not to mention about cocktails). The people at reception has less idea about the transportation in the area than me, even being locals. And last but not least, it is the first time that I found dirty dishes in a hotel. At the beginning I thought that I was in front of the used plates, but not, and it happened every day. They should pay attention on that. In general and as an advice, if you hire very young staff to safe money, be sure at least that you provide them a good training or otherwise the business will collapse.
Coming to the building we thought we were in the wrong place. But when you come inside it's a really beautiful place. Especially the rooftop overseeing The jungle. The shower was a bit small and the sink was outside the room. The location is very good if you want to visit the Maya ruins. You can just walk there easily, the city is just a few min drive.
A couple of chairs on the balcony could have been nice.If you are coming with kids mind you that some of the balconies in the room or the roof are not very safe.
Very nice, clean, spacious, new room. Super comfy bed. Our week at Siente was amazing. There is a good restaurant and the pool area on the roof top. Excellent view over the jungles. I lived they have a space for yoga classes and yoga matts. They cleaned our room every day, gave us towels for the beach, very good value for quality at such decent price.
Would be good to have a proper coffee machine, since there is a lack of good coffee in the restaurant.
