    Pros +

    • Zereno Tulum is a beautiful place. The staff were extremely nice and went out of their way to make sure you were accommodated (would even remind you about what time to bring breakfast). Renting a bike was super cool and it being in a gated area- as a solo traveler- made me feel safer.
    • Location was nice, the facility was clean

    Cons -

    • My room was along the road so the constant cars, trucks, cats, and people were loud a lot of the time. There was also a huge fire burning across the street almost everyday, so I didn’t spend much time on the terrace. The room doors are very light so when people would come in and out, the doors would slam. I also wish there was somewhere to grab a snack or drink at the property.
    • There was no hot water, there were no blankets on the bed, only a sheet, no coffee, only one big towel and one hand towel, no face cloths
    • The hotel, no face cloths provided, room started leaking, lots of nets. Had to move rooms because of the leaks,

We loved our stay! The beds were comfortable, everything was convenient, location close to beach and downtown, with parking! Absolutely would book again! The staff were very polite and responsive and super accommodating.

Breakfast was nice but quantity was not enough, it’s more of a snack before breakfast, but we had a nice kitchen to supplement. There weren’t enough hooks for towels or anywhere to dry clothes/bathing suits etc.

Friendly staff , well Renovated and comfortable place

    A little noisy

    10AriannaPosted on: 10-17-2025

Staff were great, they helped me get around and tended to my needs. We were able to borrow towels to go to the beach. They have some bicicles available to rent. Close to some of the main roads and not too far from the beach and cenotes.

The rooms were big, clean and relaxing jungle vibes. Staff were courteous and friendly. We got a unit with two rooms for family of 5. Private location with someone monitoring when driving in and out. Close to pharmacies, restaurants and stores.

Breakfast was fruit, yogurt with granola, coffee and juice. Would have been nice to have beans and eggs. Pool is small but for the time spent there it was okay.

Beautiful, spaceous rooms with balcony.Very friendly and helpful staff.

The hotel itself is beautiful and well maintained but unfortunately a few streets away the area is not very nice.

Very nice appartment, spacious and nicely decorated and lit.

We had to remove certain insects from the room - under the steps of the stairs found a roach.

Nice hotel with loads of plants with a very rainforest feel. Great bed, great showers, and products provided. Really cool décor with great taste. Amazing flat with 2 floors.Breakfast in the room was 50 minutes late. Door handle in the main bedroom was broken (and the hotel people knew about it and didn't seem to care). Great location if you have a car, otherwise a bit far from main tourist road. Communal area is lovely but tiny. Useless Internet. We would go back and recommend... good value for money.

We stayed in the split level apartment and it was beautiful, spacious and facilities within - nice showers with hot water and shower products.

Quite a few things were broken (lights, door knobs, etc.); spotty Wi-Fi, it wasn't reliable for work. The staff was friendly, but the service was not at par for a "4 star hotel", we had to remind every day of things we needed and even scheduled they wouldn't come unless we reminded (breakfast, towels, cleaning the apartment, etc.) Last, lots of mosquitoes by the pool area.

    Location and very spacious apartment

No kitchen towel and breakfast could be improved

    10AlexandraPosted on: 3-11-2025

Jorge, Rodolfo + Staff were fantastic. Communicating on WhatsApp was easy and convenient. They responded very quickly and helped us plan things like airport transfers and an ATV rental. We had an upgrade so the Apartment was gorgeous and we felt it was very great value for money. The bed was large and the air conditioning worked well. The location was close to a 7 eleven and the roads to the beaches.

My one suggestion would be to make the breakfast a bit better. I think people would be willing to spend a bit more money per night for a nicer spread in the morning. Otherwise, no comments!

The place is great, but they are still holding my deposit and initially promised to provide more information. However, they have since stopped responding and are now ignoring my messages.

Very green, well maintained, jungle vibes. Safe location

Pool doesn’t get sunlight so keep that in mindAlso, sound isolation could be better, our room was connected with another room through locked doors so we could hear everything

A nice place. flat is large and well decorated. The pool is small but welcoming. Great space and location

The stairs to reach the 3rd is not small kid friendly. Not much to cook in the kitchen. Our unit was facing a busy road. The beach access is not worthy due to the fee requested at the entrance of the park.

We had the two bed apartment and it was exceptional. Aircon in every room, kitchen facilities, comfy bed and healing showers. The staff were helpful and friendly. The WhatsApp process for contacting reception and ordering breakfast was very clever. The pool area, although quiet and abandoned, was quaint and peaceful. The hotel is located in a secure, gated area of new-Tulum, within walking distance from bakeries, good coffee and excellent pizza.

We started in a room overlooking the road and from 6am there was noisy traffic, even with the triple-glazing. It was not tolerable so we requested to move, and luckily there was space to do so. If this had not been an option I think we would have checked out early, sadly. It ruined the tranquility of the hotel. Some advice: I called this area new-Tulum as the whole place is eerily modern compared to the old town and the beach. There is so much building work going on at the moment and it's very noisy. I think in a few years it will be better. You will need a car/bike to reach the beach and the old town, and both are a must! There is a wealth of culture and culinary delights to be discovered.

Disappointing Experience **I recently stayed at zereni in Tulum, and unfortunately, my experience was far from what I had hoped. The hotel advertised free access to the beach, which was one of the main reasons we chose this place. However, upon arrival, we were informed that there was a charge of 250 Mexican pesos per person to access the beach. This felt misleading and left us feeling scammed.Additionally, our ground-floor room had a balcony door that was didn't lock. The breakfast provided was also underwhelming. There was no milk available for coffee, which was incredibly disappointing. The meal consisted of only half a banana and a small selection of fruit, leaving us unsatisfied.Overall, I would not recommend to anyone looking for an enjoyable and hassle-free stay in Tulum. There are certainly better options available that offer genuine hospitality and clear communication.
