- The setting of the golf resort is awesome. The exterior of the colonial style building is evocative of the conquering mindset of the late 19th and early 20th century, to build such an imposing but beautiful building so far away from civilisation was no mean feat. The chorus of the birds and insects as you sit on the verandah outside your room or the bar was just incredible and a call to be one with nature.The staff were super helpful and attentive.

- While the four walls of the chalet are intact and it is obvious some of the furniture in the rooms is of good antique quality, the interiors need a major revamp. I think it is unfair of the owners of this resort to keep taking money from people in exchange for a stay in one of their rooms. The bathroom needs modernising. The dining room needs modernising...you get the drift.

Dining room is not comfortable because next to Dining hall is a bar and it's open till around 11 pm ,, we visited with kids below age of 12 n 6 so fill very uncomfortable,,
The ambience was too good, away from hustle bustle of city life.

Pathetic behaviour, rude attitude, would never recommend
Despite prior booking and multiple prior phone calls, the property didn't allow us to stay since me and my were unmarried. I am a local and my friend was a guest from a different country and I wanted to get him to have a feel of Assamese culture but couldn't. If the staff would have informed us before then we wouldn't have gone this far from the city. Over and above this, their reception and attitude was really pathetic treating us both 35 year olds like teenage kids looking for a room to stay over! They didn't even offer us an alternative or speak properly, extremely rude and unbelievable at this age and time. They said that the policy is mentioned but no such policy is mentioned in booking.com. Very disappointing, wouldn't recommend anyone to even go there for food given such pathetic behaviour.

Facilities were lacking. Swimming pool do not exist. Golf course is not operational. No activity to do.
The property is serene and is located amidst a quiet village. It is easily accessible from the highway and very close to Jorhat main town.
