Cleanliness, facilities, location

Food at hotel wasn't that of a 5-star property. TV in the room was very dated, no smart features and very old

Gardens, flowers squirrels birds and spacious rooms

Buildings need maintenance and a bit mouldy

Nice resort, spent here just 1 night before departure, do not have so much to say, but my highlights are - staff is very friendly and supportive, all agreed arrangements done with no issues, beach is very good - clean water, pleasant service and facilities (bit far from resort, but shuttle goes regularly and it is worth to walk 10 mins there instead of waiting same time).

Also not so much to say, maybe good to have more variety of food at the beach and add some nice decorations in the room

We took a one bedroom suite. Very spacious. Room had a drinking water dispenser, large fridge and facilities for cooking. The living room sofas were made to bed by the hotel staff without any additional charge. The balcony was overlooking the pool and had ample space. The swimming pool was large and beautiful. Breakfast was amazing.

Could have added a microwave. Only teabags were available. Some coffee powder would have been nice.

Location, accessibility and the look and feel.

Limited restaurant working times and choice of options in breakfast are limited.If you arrive early and wait for the room to be prepared there is no other place other than the reception to kill time as restaurants will ask you to wait for them to start the restaurant and the bar will have limited food options.

The pool area was nice, the kids playground was great.

The villa was quite dark and dated. We were on the bottom floor and could hear people up above. The restaurant food was average.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, always greeting us with their lovely smiles. We were supposed to stay at a one-bedroom but got upgraded to a 2-bedroom. The facilities were very family-friendly. The pool was the place we frequent and it’s kid-friendly. We enjoyed the food, especially the buffet bfast as they serve tropical fruits that are quite expensive to buy back home. They have kids’ club but there’s too many things to do with the kids in the resort that we didn’t get to leave the kids there. At the beach, it was peaceful and it’s good they had a shuttle every 15mins.

The pool and bar were lovely.

Rooms were dated and in need of refresh. No netfilx or smart TV's.Plumbing needed attention, one of our toilets didn't work the whole stay despite multiple complaints.Distance to beachDisappointing for the price

My room had an awful smell as you entered. Musty. Unhealthy smell.

The place was very pretty, beautiful rooms and facilities!

The only things were that we had a horrible smell coming from our drain in the kitchen , the food was very pricey, and some of the staff were not overly welcoming in the restaurants. I also didn’t think the buffet breakfast was the best , I’ve had much better at cheaper accommodation. I think for the price it just didn’t meet my expectations but I still enjoyed my stay.

The room was large for our family. The pool area was nice. Garden etc kept lovely.

Rooms are getting tired,but we knew this when we booked,we’ve stayed there before.

It is not the property but the language barrier throughout the country is tricky but they do very well to give the staff badges which shows their understanding level which helps

The pool, our room, and the staff and venue was lovely.

Not enough pool towels if you went for a swim in the afternoon you couldn’t get a pool towel. The prices and value for food and drinks were way over priced. We ate in the restaurant and vas very disappointed.

We had an amazing stay. The rooms are spacious, the balcony was great, we loved the breakfast and special mention to all the staff who were so helpful. Our daughter enjoyed the kids club as well!

Security, convenient location, swimming pool, restaurant, hotel premises.

The Staff (the Duty manager only, others are very good) could have assisted us a bit more. We travelled with our 2+ year old kid and wanted to stay a bit longer on the checkout day because the return flight was in the evening. He handled our request fully commercially, which disappointed us both (my wife and I). We were forced to extend our accommodation booking for 1/2 day (12 hours) to check out at 5 pm. If this is the only policy, the hotel authority can review the policy, as it will be common for international travellers who are visiting with families.

Terrible handling of guest complaints by the manager—completely unprofessional and unacceptable!

We booked a suite with two bedrooms and instead received a poorly cleaned room—Room 1208! The bed sheets were stained, the hot water in the bathroom barely worked (only one minute of hot water before it turned cold again), and the air conditioning was useless—even when set to 16°C, the room was still warm. We had to demand new sheets right away!We reported all of this to the morning male receptionist and asked to be moved to a new room. We were told the new room wasn’t ready and needed to be cleaned. So we let them know we’d be out for a while and might return around 11 a.m.When we got back in the afternoon, we found a letter saying the new room would be ready by 14:00. But when we followed up to pack the luggage, the female receptionist and the so-called Guest Service Manager had the nerve to tell us we were too late—and that there was no room available anymore at the time. Their excuse? They couldn't reach us because I didn’t have WhatsApp—even though they had my email. Instead of taking responsibility, they blamed us, their paying guests!So, if we had come back “on time,” we might’ve gotten a better room—and probably our broken room to free it up for the next unlucky guest. Their final solution? A cooler fan set up in our room. What an absolute joke.Not a single manager had to come and apologize in person. We paid good money for poor service and awful accommodation. Total failure in customer care and professionalism.Shame on Novotel and Accor! It’s honestly pathetic—especially considering my sister is a Gold member and my husband is Diamond. If they had been with me, would we have been treated better just because of status? Is that what VIP care means now?I’m sending a formal complaint to Accor Customer Care. This experience was beyond disappointing—it was infuriating and disgraceful.
