Grand Hyatt Bali

Placed me room directly next to construction noisy site,then relocated me to better sites. On last day of checking out my hpt water service was inoperable and I had to push the poi to of staying in the room past checkout until.i could shower

The staff was outstanding, cordial, always available and offering to help. Courteous, focused on customer service.

Be prepared to walk alot and watch your step. There's gravel, wood, tile, pavers, etc. path and as typical in Asia, steps up and down and changes in levels at every destination. Also most restaurants are open air, so can be warm.

Great looking beach. Very nice grounds. Clean quiet room.

Too many children. Noisy at reastaurants and pool.

Room was nice and always well maintained. Staff were very polite and friendly. The pools were well looked after. The gym was kept quite clean.

Tennis and squash should be free- we should not have to pay extra to use these facilities as it is part of the property. Shower pressure needs to be stronger. Restaurant staff were not very good at taking coffee orders.

Beach - Beautiful and quite impressive. Overall fairly clean, although from time to time you can see an occasional plastic bag, which I believe is brought in by the ocean. As far as the hotel’s responsibility goes, the beach area is clean and well maintained.Breakfast – Acceptable to good. The staff is very kind, attentive, and professional. Two years ago, when I stayed here previously, I mentioned that I expected a more diversified breakfast, especially in terms of fruit selection. Unfortunately, nothing has changed since then - it is exactly the same as it was two years ago.

This was my second stay at the hotel, and while I wouldn’t say I disliked it, I can’t say I truly enjoyed it either. Given the aging rooms and furniture, it no longer feels worth the price, and as a returning guest, I didn’t feel particularly welcomed. Overall, there was a slight sense of disappointment - especially as my previous experiences with Hyatt felt more attentive. Returning in the future feels very unlikely.

Too big

Resort had so much to offer. Great pools, lots of dining choices, huge gym, cold plunge pool, places to have a cocktail. Close to Bali Collection. Can't say enough good things.

Really nothing. Only thing I was a bit surprised is all resorts we stayed at had a person who greeted us, gave us a fresh towel and welcome drink. At the Hyatt this was "self serve".

Staff were always friendly, accommodating and helpful. Plenty of security which made us feel safe at all times.Facilities were what you would expect from a 5 star resort, clean and hygienic (the spa was amazing) and there were retail stores on the premises if needed. Gym area was good and clean and not too crowded.Food was delicious whether for breakfast, lunch or dinner at the 5 available restaurants/cafes or when ordering pool-side.Pool areas were great for kids - waterslides were a major bonus.

Rooms are a little dated, but nothing that can't be looked past.All-inclusive package was not explained very well upon arrival, so didn't pay for it at the time, however ended up purchasing it a few days into the trip after we understood what was involved from some other guests. It was worth it, however we wish we went ahead with it from the beginning. Recommend an email or similar from the Grand Hyatt prior to arrival to detail what is involved and inform guests.

The vibe, atmosphere and landscape are astonishing. It feels serene, authentic (doesn’t loose the traditional feels with too glamorous/modern)

The hair dryer. I know this hotel is rather old (which I love the charm, but…) and during the old days hair dryer maybe expensive that people may steal them? I don’t know what’s the reason but the fact that they have the hair dryer permanently attached to the electrical outlet inside the drawer. And the cable was tensioned to the point that you have to use your muscle and strength to pull it high enough to hair dry your hair. To add insult to injury, the hairdryer is the same type like the cheap one….. I really wish they invest this small amount to change this. Bali is humid and hair dryer is essential for anyone with longer hair over the ear

Like always, it’s such a joy to keep returning to this hotel. The front desk staff are super helpful. Housekeeping does a fantastic job keeping the room neat and snug. It’s a comfortable stay with tasty food right by the pool.

Breakfast was amazing, the beach was beautiful and the room was lovely overlooking the garden.

Location and amenities where kids had so many options to enjoy either the pool or beach or kids clubQuality of the breakfast buffet was noticeable with so many fresh options and a fresh coffee station

Rooms needs a bit renovation to maintain the high quality

Swimming pools, kids water slide, kids club activities and Nusa Dua direct beach access were the most amazing facilities on this property.

We could hear people talking in the adjacent room until 4am in the morning!! The walls are not soundproof! Also the beds are very uncomfortable and creak a lot every time you move. Extremely loud Balinese music played from a loud speaker in our room on a Sunday afternoon for nearly an entire hour - I called staff to ask them to stop but was advised there was nothing they could do.

Hands down the best beachfront in Nusa Dua the hotel also features fantastic laguna pools and beautifully landscaped gardens with ponds.

The rooms are nice but quite dated and could use some upgrades. Although it’s a 5-star hotel, don’t expect a welcome drink or valet parking. After receiving permission to check out at 13h we were shocked to have staff knock on our door every 5 minutes between 12h40 and 13h while we finished packing. It made us feel like they couldn’t get rid of us fast enough. Better service and hospitality training is needed.

when it says ocean view, i thought far away from the ocean view. so i think its best just to get a garden view room instead.

The location was excellent and easy access to the beach was great but it was still quite a walk from your room

The pool shut at 7pm and a swim up bar would work really well there, the distance from the rooms to the pool was too far and the mattresses were extremely uncomfortable.

The area itself is beautiful, but that’s because it’s Bali, not because of the resort or its management. I wouldn’t stay here again and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone expecting five-star service.

The breakfast is below average. I’ve stayed at far cheaper resorts in UAE that offer much better quality and variety. For the price they charge here, it was absolutely disappointing.Also we were two groups of friends staying in two rooms. Each room got a free photo voucher upon check in, and we wanted to take one group picture together. Turns out, because some “terms & conditions” apply, we should merge the vouchers if we want to take a group photo. So basically, the more you pay for separate rooms, the fewer services you get. Which makes zero sense.The staff were extremely slow. Ordering coffee and food takes forever to be delivered. Then, upon complaining, they smile and say “they understand” and then do absolutely nothing about it.Common sense does not exist in this resort.Upon checking in, instead of holding an amount for a mini bar (it actually did not exist in my room), they deducted (instead of authorization) 2 million IDR from my account as a deposit. Upon check out, I requested the release. They were so confused for half an hour. Wanted to deduct breakfast from it (for which I already paid upon check-in), and for each simple stage, I had to have an argument to make them understand the point. So they finally requested my physical card to return the deposit and finally they did.

Everything is outrageous, and the room is spacious, clean, and tidy. The team is always smiling and friendly.
