    • Great looking hotel with wonderful staff. Staff was very attentive and helpful. hotel employee was on point and made sure we were all taken care of.
    • The hotel was comfortable and scenic. The family room was perfect for our trip with 3 young children. The food and drinks were exceptional and made our family reunion holiday something to remember! The pool was also amazing with different depths for various water play capability. We also enjoyed the spa experience with team there helping us curate a selection of treatments to suit each guest! We will definitely be back!Special thanks to the Sakala team who made our stay so special!* Demmy - ensured our airport pick up went smoothly and was available any time to make sure our stay was comfortable as the guest relations liaison. As a special touch he also organised a little tent for the kids to play in set up in the living room. His attention to detail was impeccable.* Kaca- always checked in regarding our food and beverage experience * Koming -makes a mean omelette and always went above and beyond* Dwi and Lisa- were amazing with our breakfast experience and recommending activities to do * Windy, Sinta and Ariadi - made our Balinese farewell dinner experience so so special * Meitha, Jesica, Ra, Lidia, Dhera, Nia, Tiur- all manned the Guest Experience Team line and ensured any issues were resolved promptly* Ari and Bella- always had fun activities for the kids in the Kid's Club and were great with our little ones!

    Cons -

    • The delux room was on the first floor, but actually on the basement floor without view, just wall. The room was rather dark. Hotel was located at the top of Benia peninsula, and rather isolated.
    • nil
    • You have to walk many stairs and ride many lifts to get to the restaurant if your room in the lower floor.

We found this hotel to be excellent value for money. It is incredibly baby-friendly; the kids' club is open most of the day and the entire staff was so warm and welcoming toward our little one. The breakfast buffet was also a highlight with a great variety of options.

We found that communication over the phone could be a bit hit-or-miss, so I highly recommend using their WhatsApp service instead, which was much more efficient. Also, keep in mind that the hotel is a short drive from Nusa Dua beach, so it’s not a direct walk, but still very accessible.

Breakfast. Pool. Restaurants. The food was great. Added benefits.

Almost everything… the friendly staff, the bed & pillows were very comfy, the huge room I had, the followed up complaints, they even gave us an appology cake for the inconvinience we had. Thank you so much for Ms Meitha for always being reachable during our stay.

I had 2 BR family suite room, but the water pressure in the master bathroom was low and they couldn’t fix it. And the breakfast varieties could’ve been better.

I had an exceptional stay at this hotel. Everything exceeded my expectations from the perfect location to the outstanding service. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional, the facilities were spotless, and the food was absolutely delicious. Every detail was well taken care of, making my stay truly unforgettable. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely choose it again! The staff even remembered my birthday and surprised me with a lovely mini celebration, which made my stay truly special.

Honestly, there was nothing I didn’t like. Everything was perfect.

My stay at Sakala was nothing less than awesome. The resort is beautiful, clean and my 6 days spent there will be a cherished memory. The staff was very polite and helpful. Demmy was even mindful to celebrate me and my brother's birthday which was a pleasant surprise and cherry on the cake. The food was also awesome, breakfast was delicious and offer an insane amount of variety, never missed it for a single day.The pool was pretty, rooms were spacious, bathroom and shower was top notch and proximity to the beach was an added bonus. The wifi was a bit slow, but that is the only criticism I can think of.Would stay at Sakala again if I ever return to Bali.

Staff were very friendly and helpful

The hallways and stairways were very dimly lit, which was a serious tripping hazard. I tripped while going down the stairs as I could not see the last step at the bottom. More lighting is needed for safety. We stayed in the basement level, and there was a slight mouldy smell. There were mosquitoes in the hallways and in the room too.

It was bang on the beach and the beach was really nice .The property was extremely baby friendly and the staff was so so good

The food could have been better

The food was amazing and you can tell that when this hotel was built it was state of the art. The staff is also amazing.

It’s getting a little outdated but the hotel is doing renovations.

The Sakala ResortCheck-In: September 20, 2025Check-Out: September 24, 2025After thoroughly enjoying our first stay, my wife and I returned to The Sakala Resort for a second visit, eager to experience more of what this wonderful property has to offer. This time, we explored the Wellness Spa, dined at The Terrace Restaurant, and relaxed in the stunning Infinity Pool. Each experience reinforced why The Sakala is such an outstanding resort. While The Sakala is not located directly in Nusa Dua, where many well-known 5-star properties such as The Mulia, The Westin, and The St. Regis are situated, it is only five minutes away in Tanjung Benoa. In my opinion, The Sakala offers the best value for a true 5-star experience, with superior service, excellent amenities, and genuinely friendly staff throughout the property.I will note that the beaches of Nusa Dua may be somewhat finer than those in Tanjung Benoa. However, Tanjung Benoa has its own unique appeal: it offers a more authentic Balinese atmosphere with local restaurants, bars, shops, temples, and a safe, bustling street life. Prices are more reasonable than in Nusa Dua, and the warmth of the local people adds to the charm. Personally, I came to love the Tanjung Benoa region. The service at The Sakala is nothing short of exceptional. The staff consistently made us feel like true VIPs. Upon entering our 6th-floor room, we were greeted with a fruit basket, a cake, a stocked minibar, and a personalized “Welcome Back Home” message on our mirror—a thoughtful and memorable touch. A special thank you to Demmy, Anissa, and Turi for their warm hospitality. One highlight of this trip was the Wellness Spa on the 3rd floor. Having traveled extensively, we have tried many spas, but The Sakala’s stands out as one of the very best. The setting blends traditional Balinese design with modern touches, creating a serene and luxurious atmosphere.

Access to the pool from our room was a game changer. My toddler had such a ball and it made our lives infinitely easier not having to trek to another location for a swim. The room service kids menu was really impressive! Healthy options were a tasty and very fresh. The poor bars were fun. The onsite spa was divine - especially the three hour couples ritual. I can’t speak highly enough about the kids club. What a winner. Jam packed full of my daughter’s favourite things. Great breakfast too!

The Sakala Resort - BaliDate: September 17, 2025Check-In Date: September 13, 2025Check-Out Date: September 17, 2025Right from the “Get-Go” from Checking-In we were warmly greeted and welcome from the bellhop to the front desk. We were immediately provided with a refreshing cold purple tea made by the local hibiscus flower. We were later escorted to our room by a wonderful host in a traditional Balinese outfit on the six floor - Deluxe Suite. Our room was immaculately clean and fresh. White bedsheets, Toiletries, Bottled Water, Soft Fluffy White Towels, Odour Free, and International Power Outlets are only some of the convenience provided in our room. The included breakfast at the restaurant on the third floor, The Terrace, provided a full range of options between traditional western style breakfast - Omelettes, bacon, sausage, cereal, salads, and fruits on one side of the restaurant and on the opposite side a complete array of local Balinese style breakfast foods - Rice, noodles, meat and vegetable dishes, and fresh local fruits. Apart from the two styles of breakfasts available, a variety of fresh juices, pastries, bread, and most importantly, a barista to prepare your coffees if American to Espresso! The beach and pool areas were clean and towels were provided along with comfortable loungers and umbrellas. There are no vendors harassing you to buy things. A full array of water sports and facilities are available to enjoy.A shout out to, Demmy, the customer experience manager, who took time to introduce himself to me and my wife. Demmy has a keen eye on observing the small details that make a difference in visitors stays. From providing information to making you feel welcomed to accommodating special request. Overall, I just want to express my satisfaction with my stay at Sakala. Professionalism, customer centric, and resourcefulness is what makes the difference at Sakala. Thank you for a wonderful stay!Sincerely,Simon Wong

The staff were so kind and very helpful! They were always so polite and happy to help! Food was incredible and so were all the events and extra curricular’s they offered.

It’s a very quiet and peaceful area, which we loved, we only wished there were more shops in the area within walking distance. We had to taxi to a lot of places which was the only downside.

During booking the Villa, they did not inform that the two rooms are separated into two villas but in separate floorsI didn’t like anything as i have suffered during my stay as the stay was awful and the staff compromised my time during my stay there as they sent many technicians to fix the AC and at the end, it was not fixed in the bedroom upstairs room which lead to my family and I staying in one room and they have not refunded my money for the room that the AC was not working

    - the villa consist of two floors with separate entries as I accommodated half of the villa which is the ground floor villa only, I requested a refund half of the payment due to not using the other half of the villa. - The AC was not working and we switched two villa and the same issue was that AC not working.- the villa was extremely dirty as there were insects and worms in the kitchen, utilities, and there were hair and other dirty items for falling on the floors and the toilets.-the walls and Furniture’s need Maintenance as everything is broken.
