Hotel has good breakfast options

Front desk upgraded half our party and tried to up sell me and my wife on our honeymoon. Overall it ended up splitting our guests apart and ruined what should have been a good experience together.

Beautiful, sprawling property with gorgeous pool and beachfront! Our room was amazing and very comfortable and clean!

I wish the rooms were closer to beachfront so that you didn’t have to plan ahead to go back-and-forth from your room if you forgot something!

The hotel is looking tired with visible wear and tear! In the rooms and all around the hotel! There also should be an adults only part around the pool bar! Too many kids running around and screaming in the pool! The staff did not speak or understand good enough English.

It was a big property may be that’s the reason some small things were not properly maintained - I saw a plant germinating outside the window and mold like thing growing inside the frame- also the toilet was smelly - but overall very good

Transportation facilities and airport shuttle should be free of charge, variety of breakfast menu

- Awesome activities; eg. sports such as archery, tennis, volleyball within access- Beautiful pools - Awesome housekeeping- Staff super friendly, attentive and kind- Loved Club Millesime and the benefits it came with

- Can get quite loud, the walls are not sound proof- Their in house restaurant Cucina didn’t have quality food in comparison to the price

This is not a 5 star experience. The common areas are nice and the location is great on the beach, but the rooms we stayed at were in need of an urgent upgrade and deeper cleaning. We were celebrating a birthday and were surprised by a nice small treat which was a nice gesture and appreciated.

We booked two rooms with plunge pools. Interior finishes are dated and in need of an upgrade. The fabric wall panels had dust on them, we found nail clippings on the floor, mold in the shower in one room and mold on the wall in the other, stains on the couch. I reported it to a lady at the reception desk. She apologized and said she would report to management and would request a deep clean. Someone did show up and tried cleaning, but the mold stains were still there and the floor still felt dirty, couch was still stained.Beach chairs are very dated and need of a deeper cleaning or to be replaced.We ate at the buffet and were not impressed with the food choices and felt that it was overpriced. We ordered food at Toya twice and both times waited for way too long for our food and drinks to be served, 35+ min wait. We were offered a complimentary juice because it was not served until after we had finished our food. Both times it was just us and another table, so it’s not like they were too busy and couldn’t catch up with orders. Food at the Cucina restaurant was good and service was the best we experienced at this resort. We felt it was overpriced though.

What did I NOT like.. This was one of the BEST hotels I have stayed at. From the beginning to the end. I enjoyed every inch of this location. If you want high end, and want to splurge on yourself STAY HERE. IF you get that extra step, get a butler room!!! Excellent, care, customer service, above and beyond. Every single area, detail. decoration, room decor was PERFECT and well thought out, I can NOT say enough good about this location. I will be back and I will alert everyone I know, you MUST stay here, forgot everything else in Bali, THIS IS YOUR go to place.

There is a lot of walking, but here, all the GOOD food you eat at the free breakfast and in Bali... you need to walk

we got an upgrade to a suite room with ocean view, amazing, breakfast was incredible with so many options, service everywhere was over the top, a truly amazing experience

Paid way more than this place deserved.

If you include breakfast it was great. WAYY too many options, but great.The pool was nice. But there were a few family's that laid their stuff out at the cabana- and didn't come until 3+ hours later which was super annoying because it took away from other families having the chance to use it. 3 hours is a long time at the pool. Everyone can share.

If you like being on vacation with other people, and not feeling like you can experience culture- then this place is for you! The rooms are ransacked and are not luxurious at all. The rooms are teeny tiny and way too expensive in my opinion for what you can get in Bali. If you go 20 mins down the road, you can get an entire villa with a private pool for a fraction of the price. When resorts like this try to accommodate the western cuisine, instead of just sticking to their local cuisine-- you really don't get great food. Sadly, I don't even think they offered nasi goreng (a national staple) which is WILDDDDI didn't realize Nusa Dua is completely gated and guarded from all locals. Its purely resorts. We know the price gauging happens, but its absurd how much steeper it was here. Not our vibe, but could be yours! Bali is such a beautiful place and this resort (or any resort in Nusa Dua) does not capture that!

The beach at Nusa Dua is lovely, great for swimming right out the front of the hotel for a change from the resort pool.

We had mould and fleas in our room on arrival. The staff offered only to clean the mould and we had to ask to change rooms.

The food options can be better, despite being five star the food could have been better in both the italian Cucina restaurant and the sea front restaurant. The food was very average. So I guess the food options outside the resort are much better value for money and tasteful.There was some wear and tear in the bathrooms as well for five star standards, but nothing to be alarmed about.

The atmosphere, restaurants (for lunch and dinner), oceanside was beautiful. We did enjoy the spa on the coast. We came to Bali for my husband’s birthday and they did prepare the room with a sweet gesture.

It was the guest’s attitude who reserves a sunbed and leaves it. There wasnt sufficient amount of them and no one can do something such as taking off the towels and private items as mentioned on the boards (within 30 min). We ordered a la carte breakfast and unfortunaly we didnt like it.

Check in was terrible. I had just been a car for over 3 hours and had to wait 20-30 minutes to check in. I was sick and it was so slow. Found finding my room confusing

The decor, aesthetic and ambiance alone is incredible. Combined with an anniversary welcome gift in our ocean front room, unbelievable buffet breakfast, fun pool atmosphere and sea breeze, Sofitel was exceptional in every way possible to create an inviting experience with an attention to detail, professionalism and kindness from the staff that is bar none.
