Railing should be installed where ramps are. Very difficult for handicap people. Ramps are steep.

Our stay at this charming hotel was truly unforgettable. What makes it special is its modest size, which creates an atmosphere of coziness and intimacy you don’t often find in larger resorts.From the moment we arrived, we were immersed in the essence of Bali. The hotel's surroundings and authentic decorations beautifully reflect the island’s rich culture and natural beauty. It genuinely felt like a serene escape.The staff were exceptional—friendly, attentive, and supportive at every moment. They listened with care, were always ready to help, and spoke English fluently, which made communication effortless—quite a different experience from other parts of Asia.We stayed in spacious and comfortable Junior Suites with breathtaking views of both the sea and the swimming pool. The all-inclusive package was an excellent choice, offering a variety of culinary options: generous buffet selections and refined à la carte dishes. We especially loved the dedicated dinners held in the garden near the beach—elegantly set and included in the package. The quality and variety of fish, meats, and local dishes were superb.The beach was immaculately clean, with plenty of sunbeds for relaxation. The swimming pool was equally pristine and featured a bar where you could simply unwind and sip your drink with ease. On certain evenings, there was live music and entertainment that added to the magical ambiance.The location was ideal—peaceful and beautifully integrated into its surroundings. Overall, you could feel the gentle spirit and magic of Bali in every detail. I would absolutely recommend this wonderful hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and culturally rich getaway.

While the beach was stunning and serene, we did notice that during certain times of day the sea experienced very low tides, which made swimming difficult. However, it gave us a chance to explore the shoreline and enjoy the peaceful coastal atmosphere in a different way.

Illegal, Misleading and deceptive

We booked this hotel because we wanted to stay in an all-inclusive. When we arrived, they told us that the hotel is not actually all-inclusive, that it’s just the name of the hotel. They do include some food and drinks, but it’s very limited.The food is low quality, and much of it is microwaved or pre-cooked supermarket food. They do not know how to cook meat properly; it’s cheap, overcooked, and dry. I don’t think they buy any high-quality ingredients at all.The drinks are also poor. They are made with cheap ingredients and are not standardized. Only two bartenders knew how to prepare them correctly — the rest clearly did not, which, combined with the bad ingredients, made the drinks disgusting.I think the staff are very nice and genuinely trying their best, but the administration is not.The main reason I gave 1 star is because we were scammed by this hotel in cahoots with Booking. They falsely advertise the hotel as all-inclusive, but when you arrive, you’re told that “all-inclusive” is just the name. They then try to offer you a small discount for the “confusion.” The staff seem well-trained to handle these complaints, which tells me it’s a common problem. After checking more reviews, I can see that others have experienced similar issues, so this seems intentional. This hotel in Indonesia is scamming foreigners, knowing very well it’s difficult for Australians or others to take legal action against them.According to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) and Consumer Affairs, this type of behaviour is misleading and deceptive conduct, and it constitutes false advertising. Under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010), sections 18 (misleading or deceptive conduct) and 29 (false or misleading representations about goods or services), what this hotel and Booking are doing is illegal.I strongly warn anyone considering staying here.

After staying in Melia Bali this hotel is a disappointment. Kids club is horrible with very few or basic activities, tv is always on and inside . Meals lack diversity ( mostly spicy ) drinks are not good.

The All inclusive was the best experience of a resort. We were short of nothing.Meals throughout the day, drinks readily available,ice cream, and much more. Staff are friendly and readily available to make our stay memorable.Thank you very much for an early check-in and late check out.We will definitely visit again

From the moment we arrived the whole experience was exceptional. We stayed in a SOL junior suite. The staff where so welcoming and friendly and nothing we asked was a trouble for them. The room was absolutely perfect and the drinks and food were fantastic. The location is perfect and the pool and beach areas are beautiful. My husband and I did not want to leave and now we can not wait to go back and we thank all the staff for being so wonderful.

Will not come back for this property but maybe another Meliá which was under renovation this time.

This hotel is very tired..Doesn't deserve a 5 star rate at all. All inclusive is a total rip off. We opted back out after one day after being offered a sugary mess that was supposed to be a cocktail. This was probably a good hotel back in the day. I am very surprised Melia let their name be used on it - it's what conned my into staying. Food was okay at best.

This experience was truly disappointing. We spent nearly $3,000 for a three-night stay during Christmas, hoping to enjoy our time, but it turned out to be quite the opposite. We ended up packing our bags and leaving after just one and a half days. We didn’t get any refund for half and have booked another hotel and pretty much ran from this place. The rooms had a strong, unpleasant odor reminiscent of a sewage, and the entire hotel had an overall scent similar to that of a public restroom. The food was subpar, and the drinks were limited to local options with no distinct flavor from like kids cups. The atmosphere felt more like a retirement home than a vacation destination. We had previously stayed at Melia and were saddened to find it closed for renovations; the comparison is not even close. We would never consider returning. It was an unfortunate waste of money!!!!

All staff were very friendly and helpful all of the time to ensure we enjoyed our stay. When we were leaving we had a night time flight so we were able to use the facilities during the day and had use of shower room before leaving for airport

We just had a room with breakfast. The breakfast had many options, and they had excellent croissants and emmental and cheddar cheese which was really great. The gardens are lovely and it's on the beach. We enjoyed our stay. The staff were generally very nice. The mattress and pillows were really great, we slept well, didn't hear any noise from the road

There was nothing we didn't like.

Staff was very kind and helpful

-The Jr. Suite has the bed located in way that you have to climb a step like if it was a mini stage, dangerous for kids and elders; one night I forgot about it and tripped.-I do not think anyone is a bartender here, drinks were absolutely terrible.-Breakfast variety is not a thing, but I will get the job done.
