Uluwatu Lumbung Cottages

The team is super nice and the cottages are simply beautiful !

It is slightly further from the beach/temple and other locations but they rent scooter by the day so it's very easy to get around

The staff was super nice and helpful. The breakfast was my favourite part!

The restaurant was not open at night. Its not necessarily bad, as mant places are 5min by scooter and you can also order. But eould have been nice to know.

We loved it here!! Nicely designed bungalows in a well kept garden with pool. We stayed for 3 nights as part of a larger trip around Indonesia. Great area for surfing and beaches. Located about 15 min drive from most major attractions near Uluwatu, so more peaceful but very easy to arrange taxis. The staff were very friendly and helpful. On our last day, they gave us another empty room after check out to store our bags and shower before our late flight home. Would recommend to anyone staying in Uluwatu.

Unfortunately they only serve breakfast at the hotel, but they did give us a menu for a neighbouring hotel if wanting lunch and it could be delivered free of charge so not really an issue!

The staff was simply amazing with us, very welcoming, made us feel at home. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The pool is a gem in the middle of so many greenery. The breakfast is very good. Ah and the local coffee shop in front also deserves a visit.

The only thing I could point is the location. It’s not that close from beaches or main spots if you don’t have transportation, but nothing that the hotel staff cannot solve, as they have motorbikes available to rent with not much bureaucracy. With this, you are 10min away from cool beaches and nice restaurants. Except for one busy crossing and one or two roads with bad maintenance, we found it manageable to drive in Uluwatu, having no relevant experience in driving motorbikes before. This or a simply calling a Grab will save you, and you’ll enjoy a peaceful Uluwatu in this hotel better than an area more central but also more busy and noisy.

The nature, the architecture style, the pool, silence, the staff, daily housekeeping, cleanliness were very nice.

There are options of breakfast. One option had eggs with sausage and homemade tomato sauce. We were not served sausage and tomato sauce, and they didn't informed us that they don't have them. If we knew we would have ordered nasi goreng maybe. The other day we asked are there sausage and sauce, they said yes but served only sausage, not the sauce. Other than this,maybe a small recommendation can be, when they renew the rooms, they may consider getting bigger safe boxes/chests to be enough to get laptops in.

This place is set in lovely greenery and has the potential to be wonderful but is in need of several improvements. There were dirty marks on the bed linen, the towels were threadbare, hole-ridden (see photo) and surely destined for the bin(?!) and there were bad damp marks on the bathroom walls. In addition, there were 5 loungers by the pool but only two of them had covers. The breakfast was also disappointing compared with other places I stayed in Bali, so much so that I only had it on one of the three mornings I was there. When I arrived for breakfast, two tables had been vacated but despite there being 3 staff members working, nobody cleared the dirty crockery so it just sat there attracting flies.

The location and the pool was amazing. We did stay in the pool every night after 10 pm and the star were very bright

Very nice staff. It's a beautiful place to wake up in the morning. Charming cottages and a very nice bathroom. One of my favorite places I've stayed in Uluwatu.

Good location with possibility to rent a scooter. Friendly and helpful staff. Daily clean towels were provided.

Generally the internet in the area is bad, but the wifi basically never worked good enough for social media usage.

The cottages were very cozy and clean with very comfy beds, the stuff was excellent, kind and helpful, they made a delicious variety of breakfast. They didn’t serve lunch but there’s room service available with great tapas. The pool was exceptionally clean and a very nice garden and chill area.

We truly don’t have any complaint, the location was a bit further but only a ten minute ride to the most touristic locations, making it a quiet relaxing environment.

Beatiful place, very kind staff. You can also rent a scooter there.

Be prepared on geckons and insects, you are in nature :)

A nice oasis with a pretty cool pool surrounded by greenery. Good location but you would need a scooter to go around anywhere. Very helpful staff that supported us with scooter bookings, for example.

Wi-fi was shaky, almost impossible to get a proper connection in the room.Breakfast was too simple, yet tasty.A lot of construction nearby but this is all around Uluwatu.

It is a beautiful property and it is full of palnts and trees also the pool is very nice

The bathroom needs an upgrade and needs more amenities.Plus a few chairs in the bedroom also.The indoor restaurant is only for breakfast so no lunch and dinner.

All the staff members were very friendly and accommodating - the chef woke up 2-hours earlier before the restaurant opened up to prepare my breakfast to go for my day tours. Thank you for your amazing service and serene location.

I liked the room and swimming pool, the fact that the place has limited number of cottages turned out to be exceptional experience of coziness and very private. Also, the staff is amazing in this place :) Moreover, I liked that there were recommendations for ordering food and activities, beaches. Amazing <3

It’s a little far from everyplace but the property and value for money covers up for it

Nice and cosy accommodation. Big bathroom and room. Nice terrace to spend time and relax. There are many different choices for breakfast with tea/ coffee and a fresh juice included.

The bottled water in the room is not free. Need to pay on checkout, which was not clear to me when I used it.Nothing for people with chemical sensitivities. I requested to not use fragrance spray or mosquito spray for cleaning but it was still used on the day of my check in. Also removed 3 or 4 air freshener from the bathroom and couldn’t get the chemical smell out. I am not drinking cow milk or other animal products and the smoothie bowl for breakfast was made with it although it didn’t mention it in the menu and I said to only use fruit to make it. I tried one spoon and recognized it directly. But it was so gross to taste it when you are off animal products for years already… didn’t made my day to be honest. But staff was very friendly and replaced it.Apart from that really lovely place.

The property was nice and clean. The location was great and easy accesible.

Stayed here for 4 nights.Everything amazing, small place with 8 bungalows but everything what you need they provide!Good pool to have a relax swim.Breakfast ala carte and good quality.They only serve breakfast for now.But you have a lot of options to order food in from the nearby restaurants.very cozy rooms / cottage ? and clean !Definitely recommend! ?

The room itself was beautiful and staff friendly and kind. Not far from the main strip of restaurants and beaches

The pool area is tiny compared to the photos and I didn't want to spend a day there. My room looked out onto a wall not a garden like the photos and no sheer curtains so no privacy to open the curtains as everyone could walk past on the walkway of my room. Electricity would go off for no reason during the day. The toilet by the restaurant is foul smelling and I didn't want to change in there.. it looked so dirty and wet. No toilet or changing room I would deem suitable for guests outside of the bedroom. The breakfast was incredibly basic the stay was a bit disappointing compared to my other hotels in Lombok and Bali.
