    Cons -

    • It could use some renovation, maybe a bit more ambiance.
    • Klapa felt like a ghost resort that someone just stopped paying attention to. Loud tour groups ran through the halls each night, the common areas were filthy, and despite attempts to speak to management, I never received a response. Abysmal service.
    • no AC at the lobby and playroom

    Location

Hotel is old, not renovations in place. A/C was leaking all night. Big room but absolutely not Cozy, useless room space

Everything was amazing, they have an easy path to the beach. Staff always attentive and friendly, rooms were clean and spacious. Food tasted great.

Despite everything being amazing, I would just add the option to have Americano coffee included in the breakfast options. The Balinese coffee was not great and we always had to buy the regular Americano because it wasn’t included.

The view from the rooftop was beautiful. Bed was comfortable.

Oh where do I start? Let’s start with the worst topic: cleanliness. From the moment we walked into the room, it smelled of sewage and mould. You can see mould throughout the entire “resort.” Despite complaining multiple times, the staff did nothing about it. We heard others complain as well. After our 3rd complaint (late on our last night) they offered us a new room, but we declined because we checked out early the next morning. They promised us some sort of recommendation when we checked out the next day, but did not follow through with that promise and ignored the situation. I think it’s very important to emphasize that BOTH ME AND MY FIANCÉE GOT SICK FROM THESE CONDITIONS!! The pillows were also filthy. Now let’s move on to the staff. I’ve travelled in Bali many times and I have never experienced such incompetent staff, especially at a “5 star resort.” They need to train their staff better on hospitality. When they would clean the room they would take our towels and not replace them. Rarely threw out the trash and never did anything about the stench. The front desk staff was entirely unaccessible by phone, so we would have to take the elevator down to the lobby to instruct them to send towels to the room. The bar staff was friendly and gave their best efforts. I don’t recommend eating here because the food quality was poor. We ended up ordering GRAB meals, since there are no other options nearby. Lastly, unless you’re golfing, the location is very inconvenient. It’s 25-30 mins each way to Uluwatu. They do have a small beach walking distance from the resort, but we did not go there because it was small and overcrowded.I have travelled Bali quite extensively and this was by far my worst experience, and one of the more expensive facilities I stayed at.

The location is good, very near to Jumeirah

I stayed at klapa room for 2 nights and paid 5.4 million rupiah, which felt quite high considering the overall experience. The towel provided had a noticeable stain, the sink drain was dirty, and we had to pay extra for drinking water, which I found surprising given the price. The interior felt in need of refreshment. On top of that, the breakfast options didn’t reflect the standard expected at this price point, with very little variety. The resort has potential, but for this rate, I expected better cleanliness, service, and overall attention to detail.

Nice hotel, staff were very friendly

Location was a bit out of the way but easy enough to get a taxi

The location is good and the view from the roof top restaurant and pool isLovely. The bedrooms are spacious and the staff are very friendly. There was plenty of choice at breakfast.

The hotel is a little tired. It is clean but could do with updating. The pool area is quite basic the sun loungers could be more comfortable and there is very little shade for people who don’t like to sit in the sun.

it is really easy to get access to the beach and the staff was really kind to us, the view was great as well to top it off

sometimes there are noise coming from outside either construction or door slamming

Breakfast and room service was delicious. Facilities were nice as pictured. The Elevator areas need some love as well as the outdoor space. When we arrived we thought it was a scam. The grounds are not well kept, we were thinking of booking somewhere else. But when we went inside it was nice. The room was huge, bathroom was nice and the shower heads weren’t moulded. The location is within an old high class area, but majority of the buildings have since shut down and are abandoned. There’s shopping nearby but definitely need a car or scooter because the hotel from the entrance gates is an hour walk up and down hill.Again the rooms were nice but could do with some love. Overall I’d rate our stay 8/10. If the grounds (parking, drop off areas and exterior of the property) were looked after it would be a 10

Nice resort, lovely staff and great to have the private access route to the beach! The spa is just a hotel room transformed with 2 beds in it which I didn’t expect but the massage was very good. Can be a bit eerie at night time, big long and wide corridors and can hear the doors banging with the echo but big comfortable room. Overall very nice!

    1CourtneePosted on: 3-28-2025

Don’t bother with this place. It isn’t 4 star more like 2. Waste of money we left after the first night and they refuse

The hotel smelt like mould. The gym was terrible had broken equipment not even a treadmill. The breakfast was disgusting the buffet wasn’t a buffet. There was 3 options on offer. The wellness spa was just one of the rooms with 2 massage beds in it! The room smelt. It was dirty. Water was leaking from the ceiling outside on the balcony. All the floors were water damaged

The juice bar and spacious room

Worn linen + towels, black mold everywhere, lack of management, pictures do not match actual facilities.

    10SarahPosted on: 3-19-2025

Loved the room size and convenience of location

It needs more umbrella or shelter in the pool area

    8LaeliaPosted on: 3-10-2025

The hotel feels a bit dated and empty. For the price I paid as there was a special it was excellent value for money as this is a nice hotel with spacious rooms. There are steps to walk down to Dreamland Beach. The rooftop pool looked very nice but was empty when I was there. I did not eat at the restaurant so can't comment on the food.

I only stayed one night but I wouldn't necessarily stay longer as it's a bit out of the way from all the other main restaurants and things to see. You can't walk anywhere but the beach.

    breakfast, pool, comfy room, staff

Good rooms, clean. Friendly staff. Great rooftop for sunset.

Food and drink are not good value for money. Staff were friendly but service was poor.No umbrellas by the pool.Safe didn’t work, some elements of the hotel are worn / tired.
