Mantra Wellness Bali

One of the best hotels that I stayed in in Bali, Exceptional experience - I loved the stuff, they helped with everything I needed, loved the clean and cozy room. The rooms are located in such way, that the noise from the swimming pool and the social areas doesn't disturb at all. The property has it's own yoga studio and also the pilates reformer rooms, which was wonderful - vey airy and tropical vibe of the yoga, I enjoyed very much my morning classedVery close to the wonderful beach Padang Padang

So far the best hotel we had in this trip.Love the design of this hotel, boutique and artistic.The staff is very friendly, intended for service and easy to connect via what’s up.Tried the yoga class was amazing, teacher is very professional. Also did the spa in the hotel, sooo good. Although breakfast was not in-house but definitely healthy and nice.

The shuttle bus to the Main Street was broken and 10 mins walk among hills was not that pleasant. Other than that was great.

The property is pretty. The yoga hut is wonderful. Lizzy the pilates teacher is amazing.

My hot water didn't last more than 3 minutes. The property is way up a hill with lots of potholes. You must either take the shuttle down - which only runs certain hours of the day or call a scooter taxi.

The grounds were beautiful! The yoga Shala was amazing! And the location is perfect for exploring Uluwatu!

The location is relatively convenient, once you're able to get your bearings around. The build quality of the hotel is fair as I am still able to see some patchy construction works in the room. The room was clean and the reception staff were friendly and very responsive. They've made my stay truly enjoyable. Depending on the instructor you choose, the Pilates class was enjoyable. The co-working / lounge area was decent.

The common pool was really small, you can't really swim in it. the other amenities like the cold plunge pool and shower area were tiny too.

The room was clean and comfortable , and staff lovely. Secluded area but still accessable on foot.

Noise from nearby construction - I was particularly annoyed because i was lead to believe there was no noise. Sitting outside on the balcony or around the pool was unpleasant due to noise.No restaurant No coffee cups or facility in the room to make coffee

The size of the room was very big and was Super clean , great value , excellent customer service very attentive staff

Mosquitos, although my room was sprayed and plugged a mosquito liquid in the room and sprayed myself still Horton bitten quite a bit but literally the location surrounded by trees I think hard to avoid not to get bitten by mosquitoes.

The staff were generally really welcoming and helpful - from reception to security. It was amazing to feel like you were in the middle of nowhere when you were so close to the hustle and bustle of the Main Street. Having the yoga classes there was lovely.

The buggy which we relied on to get to and from the Main Street (especially in the pitch black), broke on our second day. There was no alternative given apart from a text and telling us to get a scooter. This was a big appeal of staying at this hotel as it is removed from the main drag, so you rely on the buggy in the intense heat and the dark night. Sauna and ice plunge facilities were a great addition but weren’t cleaned regularly

Our stay at Manta didn’t quite live up to our expectations based on Booking.com and previous reviews. We stayed for three nights and unfortunately had issues with mosquitoes—getting bitten quite badly—as well as spotting a cockroach in our room. Additionally, there was a strong, unpleasant smell in the rooms.While the property does offer a small sauna and plunge pool, neither looked particularly inviting. Manta is located downhill with a lot of steps, which could be challenging for anyone with mobility issues. There’s a small coffee area where you can purchase items like creams, books, and T-shirts. Yoga classes are held on-site in a spacious area, though we didn’t participate. We did, however, find it odd that the instructor used a microphone despite having only three or four participants.The rooms are laid out in a somewhat impractical way, with a fridge and an extra air conditioning unit taking up space. While the exterior of the hotel looks fresh and well-maintained, the rooms themselves feel quite worn. The doors and windows don’t match the overall theme of the property and gave off a cheap, somewhat insecure feel.

Mantra is a beautiful little haven in amidst the jungle. It was clean, quiet, and complete with its amenities.

A new tiny hotel (seems opened in 2024), away from the noisy main street. Which makes the atmosphere cozy and peaceful. I recommend it to all travelers. Especially if you are yoga-lover. Right in the center of the hotel there is a yoga hall, which energy is so bright as you are in yoga temple:) I loved (!!!) wonderful classes with teachers. Classes are for additional cost.If you want to get to the main street with restaurants, smiling and friendly staff will help you get there by buggy in 5 minutes. You can also get back to hotel by buggy, if you write a WhatsApp message to the reception. Communication with the hotel is ideal via WhatsApp. You can walk to/from main street yourself - in about 8 minutes. I often did this. But not in the dark - a very uncomfortable roadThe rooms are fresh, clean, very good daily cleaning. There were no insects in the room (its important in Bali). And there are very few on the hotel outside the room. Only funny caterpillars))You can order delicious smoothies at the reception. But there is no food in Mantra(( I would really like at least some light healthy snacks, berry bowls, breakfasts - healfyfood-cafe in the future. There are many restaurants on the main street. to vegetarians - would recommend the cafe at the Alchemy yoga studio - a 5-minutes walk from where buggy drops you off on street. You can also order food by Gojek app if you don't want to leave your roomBeaches - closiest is Padang Padang, but dont liked it - its very small and uncomfortable. I liked to go by taxi (few dollars, Gojek app) to Dreamland and Balangan beaches (10 min drive)

Had a great stay here! The room was super clean and the bed was really comfy. Loved the sauna and cold plunge combo. The pool was nice too. Would totally stay here again!

Everything was great except for the location and the buggy was broken and it was really inconvenient to walk out. Location is not great if u do not ride a bike

Mantra is a beautiful new place. Staff makes you feel very welcomed, the whole property is stunning, comfy bed. I also really enjoyed the classes - Pilates, yoga, fitness. There is also sauna, cold plunge and pool here. Very peaceful atmosphere. A bit far from the main road but you can get a free ride with a buggy. I really enjoyed my stay.

Everything was great! the only small improvement I can suggest is a small reading light/ lamp on the bedside would be nice.

The location was lovely and secluded. The facilities are amazing - a beautiful yoga studio, reformer Pilates studio, cold plunge and sauna as well as massage facilities. The staff are also incredibly helpful and welcoming.

There could have been more food options on site. However, there are excellent restaurants nearby, so this wasn’t an issue.

Amazing place ! Very close to the Bingin beach by wall and many restaurants. This place is a little paradise, it is quiet, clean, beautiful. The pilate reformer classes were amazing, the small coffee also and açai bowl ! The ice bath is very nice for recovery and the pool to just chill and relax. I was there alone as a women and I always feel safe and well surrounded. There is a buggy service to bring you in the main road.

Maybe the menu choices could have been a bit more elaborated (no juices, eggs,..)
