ONAYA Bali Resort

We had a lovely stay with exceptional, smiling staff and a delicious a la carte breakfast. The attention to detail was amazing—my birthday happened to be during our stay, and they noticed the date on my passport without us saying a word. They surprised me with pancakes and room decorations! Highly recommended for the incredible service. :)

Our experience at this hotel was absolutely excellent.The staff were incredibly attentive, always helpful and genuinely caring throughout our stay. Everyone working at the hotel made us feel very welcome and well looked after.The breakfast was very good, with great quality and variety, and the pool area is beautiful, clean, and perfect for relaxing. Everything in the hotel is very well maintained.The free shuttle service is a big plus and worked perfectly, making getting around very easy and convenient.Overall, everything was outstanding: the service, the facilities, and the atmosphere.We would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again.A 10 out of 10 experience.

Amazing facilities that were private but tasteful and peaceful. The staff were so accommodating to all our needs and went above and beyond to make our stay an enjoyable one. The breakfast included was delicious and the free taxi service was a bonus. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and loved the outdoor bathrooms. The beds were extremely comfortable and we had amazing sleeps. I would recommend this to all my friends and family and would definitely stay here when in Uluwatu again.

Friendly staff. Nice daily breakfast.

Room was very cramped. No table or chair. Shower and tap water was salty. Location was pretty out of the way in Uluwatu.

Provided everything we needed- hair dryer, toiletries, water, & friendly staff! Appreciate the free 5 km car ride.

Roads surrounding the location are remote and no lights.

I wish I could give a 12 as they well deserved it!!! The staff was simply AMAZING starting with Jacinta at the reception that makes you welcome, to Santhy who took great care of all our meals and Debby the Manager that constantly ensured that all our needs were met. I TOTALLY recommend ONAYA coming from me who is constantly travelling the world and stayed at many different locations. This one is not to be missed if you go to southern Bali. PS: Do not forget to add your comments in the ONAYA book of memories…. Enjoy your stay!!! :)))

Its my second time in Onaya in 3 years, it was great the first time and even better this one. The location is perfect for me, far enough from the main road to have complete silent and close enough to get to restaurants and shops (~5/7 min drive). Thank you again for making me feel home away from home !

My stay at this hotel was unfortunately disappointing.

When I checked in, I immediately noticed that the room was not clean. The mosquito net above the bed was dusty and stained, and the curtains — including the sheer curtain — had visible blood stains. The bed linen also had stains, which made me feel very uncomfortable about the overall hygiene of the room.I reported these issues to the reception on the very first day. However, no one came to fix them. The next day, only the canopy above the bed was replaced with a clean one, but the curtains were not changed — they were simply switched from right to left, which was quite obvious.Later, the hotel management offered to refund a small part of the payment, but only if I cancelled my booking on Booking.com and rebooked directly with them. They even completed this process on my phone. While I did receive a small refund, it did not change the fact that the room was dirty and that my stay was uncomfortable.No partial refund can make up for the lack of cleanliness and discomfort I experienced during what was supposed to be a relaxing vacation.

All perfect! We enjoyed our stay. We had to work one day a few hours, for that the room is not so suitable as there is no place to sit.The restaurant was really nice and delicious aswell. For the breakfast we had as vegans not many options to select but the staff was very kind and adapted to all our wishes.

The staff were so kind and helpful. The property was a little bit away from the Main Street but the complimentary shuttle was amazing for getting around to see the sights of Uluwatu.

I would have preferred to have a closed space over my shower.

We loved the staff, so friendly and helpful. Debby went out of her way to make everything comfortable for us. We were in the area for a wedding. Although we had to transport ourselves numerous times, this was very easy to do with the help of the staff

Onaya is a beautiful oasis in the middle of the jungle. Surrounded by lots of greens, provides a quite spot for relaxed vacation. The territory is beautiful, there are always sunbeds available to read a book or just chill. Personnel of the complex was super nice and attentive, I would say it was the highlight of our stay there. You also get a free transportation for 5km radius, so you can get around Uluwatu and surroundings really well. I also liked the breakfast provided by the property.

There were a couple of moments which require improvements in my opinion:1) Not enough light in the night in Sky area. When it is dark, it is hard to see the steps (as they are also dark). I almost fell a couple of times and saw some other tourist having trouble with that. It would be great if the paths over there get extra light2) Showers and bathrooms. Our shower had open roof, which means that all the leaves from the trees above fall in your room making it dirty. 3) The toilet is attached to your chalet and it is basically outside. If you sit on your veranda, you can hear other people doing job 1 and 24) Coffee quality at the breakfast requires improvement, in my view it is a simple fix that will make your customers happier5) The rooms are small, and have very small closets, which means that if you have a lot of luggage, it will be lying around the room due to lack of space6) As it is located in the middle of jungle, the only way for you to get there is by car or bike, walking there would be difficult

The location is great, close to all the places we wanted. It's a really quiet and beautiful area. The team was more than perfect; they were friendly and kind. The food was absolutely delicious! It was an extremely pleasant stay. ????

I think the price was a little high for the facilities. Pool was a little small and restaurant could have been better set. Rooms (bungalows) were narrow - though bathroom was really comfortable

It was nice an quiet resort. Friendly staff and they offered free drive to town and back. Breakfast was excellent!

Maybe at bit far from the "main centre", we had scooter so we could just come and go when we wanted. But they offered free ride, but sometimes there was a bit wait. I recommended to rent a scooter from the resort

What an AMAZING stay. Onaya was a surprise, I read the reviews and it actually exceeded by expectations when I arrived. I loved the grounds - clean, beautiful. The morning breakfast was phenomenal, and the staff were the most amazing, kind and welcoming people. Debby and her team went out of their way to make you feel welcome everyday. The pool was serene and calming - perfect for me post a 33 hour flight. They also went out of their way to make sure to take you anywhere you needed to go (within 5km of the resort) driving you all around Uluwatu. My villa was perfect, quiet and had everything I needed. Amazing bathroom and a hairdryer as needed. it was the little touches like a welcome package and frequent communications that made this stay so special.

Nothing! It was absolutely perfect. There was one day that the internet went out but that was not on the resort, it was in the area and they kept us updated as to when it was back on.

Great staff and breakfast, glad they have a transport service to take you over to the nearby places which actually covers almost everything due to the villa location.

Small rooms, rooms are not insulated which means anyone who talks littler louder can be heard in the next room or even uses the washroom can be heard.
