Small room. And several flights of steep stairs to climb to our floor. No lift. Poor wine choice at bar. Stains on towels. Shower a hand held device not a overhead arrangement.

Our room was great, the pool was so unique and designed so well, the food was excellent, the staff was lovely. We stayed 2 nights after flying/traveling for 36 hours. We wanted a nice place to recoup. It was perfect. They were so helpful and we wanted for nothing. I really loved the heavy curtain you could pull to separate the bathroom area of the room with the bed area. Btwn the curtain and the doors on the toilet and shower it allowed for privacy.

Love the staff in every area of the hotel. The reservation staff, wait staff, housekeepers, and every single person was kind, considerate, and respectful. All of our needs were met as quickly as possible. The property is tucked away from the bustle of the area. A quick Grab ride and you are at the Beach. The breakfast is 5 star!

Amazing villa with a tv/sitting area, private pool, kitchen/dining area and master suite. The breakfast was great and the staff was friendly. I purchased the floating breakfast and a spa experience and everything was masterfully done. 10/10.

Very nice hotel, breakfast was very good, staff were very nice and helpful, nice comfortable room.

Would have like to have been told that our room was up flights of stairs which is a little difficult if you have mobility issues. Also shuttle leaving you in town for a minimum of 2 hours is a bit long so didn't use.

So peaceful & tranquil. Like a little oasis! Staff were all so friendly & helpful, even remembering our names & room number . Food was fab!

Would have liked a slightly larger bar area to have a pre or post dinner drink.

The facilities were lovely, our 18month old baby loved the pool. It was very beautiful in the heart of the hotel. The restaurant was open plan overlooking the pool. Everything was super cozy and comfortable, staff very friendly

Location was not the best, but it was easy to travel to the center (free shuttle service), and there was a laundromat and massage place near the hotel.

Rooms were fantastic, very clean, spacious, beds were very comfortable. Easy access to all facilities, great pool with swim-up bar and kids area, and the buffet breakfasts were superb with food options. Staff were always very friendly and helpful. We loved our stay at the Alantara.

Gorgeous poolside area. Room was spacious and bed was like sleeping on a cloud! Room serviced everyday. Staff so attentive and friendly.

Location a bit far out but still a short grab to the main area of Sanur.

The exceptional hospitality, beautiful surroundings, and relaxing atmosphere.

A bit far from the beach - but there’s a shuttle service. The strong smell of air freshener or cleanser.

The property was peaceful, surrounded by nature, and very clean. Staff were wonderful as well. Having cocktails at the bar in the pool was amazing!

It was hard to get a sunbed as many were reserved early and it got quite crowded.

The hotel is intimate and a lovely piece of paradise away from all the mayhem of central Sanur. The rooms were lovely and the food and service fantastic. A nice place to get away if your happy to walk or uber into Sanur and don't need to be surrounded by shops and warungs. Better location for couples than probably those with kids who may want to be closer to the action of Sanur. There is a lovely massage spa at the hotel and the staff were lovely.

There are no restaurants or shops directly around the hotel. Everything is a 10 - 15 minute walk away (to Sanur and you need to cross some very busy roads!) The pool is lovely but on the smaller side.

The staff was amazing, specially Puspita. The food was incredible (oh the amazing breakfast), the hotel is beautiful and very serene. The location is very very good. The pool is also very good and the general ambiance is of staying inside of a spa, where all stress just disappears into thin air.

The bathroom situation (toilet and shower) of the rooms are a bit awkward comparing with the rest. Our room also had a slight damp smell. Finally, and this was a very weird and unique situation, one of the spa workers managed to perform a terrible neck massage to one of us, to the point where scratches were visible. I believe this is not common, but it is something for the hotel to think about.

I cannot speak more highly about the wonderful resort staff. They were so friendly and helpful, especially going out of their way to cook me dishes that did not contain certain allergic ingredients. Our suite was wonderful, very comfortable with both an indoor and outdoor shower. And what a stunning pool, absolute bliss.
