The location was great and the beachfront and walking path along the beachfront a bonus. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were wonderful. The food from the restaurant was lovely and very reasonably priced.

The size of the resort is great if you are looking for a large resort with lots of people and families. We were disappointed with the size of the two pools in comparison with the amount of rooms and people within the resort.

Everything is good here. Staff are exceptionally polite and helpful. Location is excellent with thge beach and many restaurants very close.I enjoy the walk along the beach up as far as I like to go, sometimes as far as the Port, but often as far as Icon Bali.

Only the weather, but even it was acceptable.I cannot really say there was anything I did not like.My partner being Indonesian helped me greatly when language became a small problem. Unfortunately I do not speak Indonesaian. My fault.

It was a cheap one night stay when we arrived late. Efficient airport pick up and easy walk out to beach restaurants for breakfast before heading to our destination in Bali East

The Mercure I stayed in has clearly seen better decades. The whole place feels aged, and the facilities haven’t kept up with modern standards. This goes especially for the room and bathroom. With the bathroom door open, I literally cannot sit on the toilet. Who designed that. And the shower. Well. Calling it “basic” would be generous. It’s just a shower hose. A one-star special. Mounted at an angle that makes it impossible to turn it on without getting sprayed with cold water first. And to top it off, the water stream shoots straight toward the bathroom door, flooding the place like a mini-tsunami. Why nobody has fixed this in a hotel of this size is beyond me.At the pool, things were not much better. They scheduled construction work during daytime. Right at the pool bar. Cementing. Heavy tools. Dust. And guests trying to relax next to power tools. I stepped straight through wet cement. Perfect holiday vibe.And then the pool staff. Honestly. Someone should take their phones away. They sit there scrolling all day and ignore the guests. Everyone is lying on sunbeds with no cushions, not knowing cushions even exist. Unless someone accidentally walks behind the counter and discovers them. Then everyone else suddenly wonders why they don’t have any. Meanwhile the staff keep scrolling. It’s almost comedy.Management seems nowhere to be found. At least not in the places where oversight is needed. These are basic issues any active manager would notice within five minutes.Breakfast. Let’s say it politely. Not good. I tried it once. After that I went to the Genius Bar next door because it was simply better in every way.That’s my honest take.

Staff are excellent and the hotel is in a beautiful location, lots of great restuarants nearby, lovely walk along the pathway from the Mercure to the main centre of Ubud.

The rooms are a bit dated, but everything is very clean and comfortable.

Nothing, it was fantastic

The breakfast was very nice with lots of choices. The room was lovely with a very comfortable bed and great air conditioning. The toiletries provided were very nice. It was great to get bottles of water supplied each day. The gardens and pool area, dining areas and entrance were beautifully decorated and well maintained.The location of the hotel was excellent. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

My wife and I recently stayed at the Mercure Sanur resort. This was our second stay here. We love the resort layout which includes relatively low density units planted in traditional and extensive Balinese styled gardens that terminate at the beach.The staff were brilliant, particularly Reception, Housekeeping, and Food and Beverage staff.

There was an OK range of options available at breakfast only let down by the sameness of the dishes over the week that we stayed there. The buffet meal on Nypie Day was at best very average and probably not up to the standard that 250000 rupee pp would have suggested.Although very clean, the hotel is starting to show its age. Things like paint overbrushing on the tiles, and shower screen silicon starting to yellow and edges detaching all indicate that this was built some time ago.Unfortunately, addressing these items will probably result in the resort being pushed over and then probably replaced with greater unit density and a reduced garden size – after all ROI is important to viability. It will be unfortunate if the things that make this facility charming will be lost because the same facilities need an update.

The bed was very uncomfortable. No padding left in the mattress . when I moved I could hear the springs clinging together . I was expecting better comfort in a Mercure hotel Having a private beach was nice but the public gym equipment next to it banged loudly when in use .felt like I was on a building site . After an hour I gave up and sat by the pool . For that reason would book again

Was a wonderful week here at Mercure Resort. Will definitely be back. The rooms were dated but clean. Staff were amazing and friendly. The buffet was not that good. But pool snacks and ordered meals were delicious. Pools were amazing and the gardens just lovely.

It was flooding in front of my room...cause we went to rainy days. The trees branches fell and almost hit my 86 years old father in law and my husband..its only by God's grace they survived. But pls dear management..you should have cut some trees branches before the rainy season
