Sanur Seaview Hotel

The room, ac not working well, study air , not healthy room stock in a dam corner.

Staff was nice

We had the appartment and it was much more spacious than expected. Also very clean and all the utilities as well.

The appartment is only accessible by stairs. Breakfasts is okay could be better.

The only nice thing was the pool.,

The photographs actually exceed reality.The room was super old and poorly maintained, the staff was not very nice, they were bored every time we looked for them. Very slow and basic breakfast service.

Great value, quiet and away from all the tourist traps. Right next to the kite flying area which was very colorful. Real local vibe.

Needs bedside lamps. A bit run down but clean and well run.

Convenient to the beach. Pool was outside my door. Can’t go wrong.

The hotel is very run down and in need of upgrading. Toilet leaked, shower blocked, fridge worked but freezer compacted and unusable. Nowhere to put wet towels.

Nothing - covered in mould sheets were stained and see through. Shower drain was blocked with hair so I didn’t shower toilet was not clean at all only stayed one night and left Pictures very deceiving Not run by true Balinese people

Everything

It’s easy to get to, and pay for what you get! It’s better than any lower star hotel or hostel. If you want to pay super low price, then this would probably be ok! The bedroom was in good condition.

The hotel and rooms in general are fairly rundown and some listed pics do not represent how the hotel actually is. The bathroom in particular was quite run down and old, the shower just trickles water. Pool looks unswimable.

Lovely setting, friendly staff.

Rising damp in the walls. Paint is flaking off. Water pressure in the shower was very low. Couldn't shut the doors of the cupboards. The door knob on the bathroom felt like it was about to fall off. Liked the place and staff, but it really needs a good paint job and some love. Didn't go in the swimming pool because the water was cloudy. Lawns needed mowing.

We enjoyed the pool. Beds were comfortable. Beach was a walk away and not suitable for swimming.

I was told by the staff that I received late check information from the website I booked through but I didn't receive any late check in information. That was frustrating both to not have the information and also to be told I had it when I did not.

Staff are super friendly and helpful. Location is quiet and peaceful. Rooms are reasonably clean. Breakfast is ok but not filling.

My main gripe is actually about the other residents. A French couple seemed absolutely gobsmacked by my audacity in asking them not to start smoking at the next table during breakfast! (I'm allergic to cigarette smoke). They continued to smoke and made sarcastic comments when we were forced to move out of the dining area. It's 2025 - It's common courtesy to at least ask before lighting up, especially when others are eating. Other than that, it's a very nice place, although some of the facilities are in need of repair/maintenance and there are remnants of previous guests to be found in the rooms.

Staff they are trying the best . But the owner is letting them down ..badly needs money spent on the upkeep. New towels, sheets, shower curtains ,And new beds . We curtains on the windows.

Not as close to beach as expected, a bit of a walk to restaurants etc. Repairs happening right outside my room, they should have moved me to another room.

Hotel was cute. Rooms large.

Needed quite a bit of maintenance though. No soap holders in bathroom. Power sockets not working next to bed. Sheets torn, towels bleached and old, cushions on bed need replaced. No tea or coffee facilities in the room

Location, was a short walk to the beach and start of the Sanur walking path. The pool was nice, the room was a great size and the internet was good.

The pool was green and dirty. There were stains on the curtains, bathroom and bedroom walls. The bathroom was rundown, with the cabinetry peeling off. The “seaview” was non existent, we had a balcony view of the green pool, the rundown garden and from the bedroom windows the view was a building and another room. The photos of this place are misleading. We ended up booking another place for the same price that was much nicer.

The whole design of this hotel is unique. Free bicycle for guests to ride to neaby warung makan and beach.Near to the beach, with nice restaurants.

The swimming pool water is cloudy. Hotel near the beach, but the beach cannot play water.
