The Cakra Hotel

The most cheapest hotel with the very good excellent standard.We are planning to stay here again for the next vacation to Indonesia.The hotel room arrangement was very excellent !!!!Very spacious !!!!

The hotel location { if that is possible }To walk arround there not so much to see, only the traffic.Very much traffic on the special hours.To go somewhere, better with the motorcycle.

Nice hotel. The buffet breakfast is good. Swimming pool is nice, went for a dip on morning before check out. Staff is friendly and helpful. The room was clean.Outside shopping, is not within walking distant. Our plan was spend whole day out in Ubud and return only at night. So it was up to my expectations.However if you want something to eat there is a KFC and Japanese restaurant 2 doors away, also the hotel restaurant dinner is yummy and good value. For that price it is very good value hotel.

The staff are lovely. The price of the rooms is great as it is a 20 min car ride to Sanur. Love the cats everywhere.

I would like to see something new on the menu. The staff do not know a lot of English and sometimes it is hard to communication what you need.

Breakfast was exceptional with plenty of choices. Great value

The location

Air Conditioning was not good. The bathroom door made loud noise everytime we opened and closed and it was very noisy and disturbing.

The staff was very good, I left my wallet at reception, which was very busy and staff returned it to my room

The pool was lovely.

I didn't like the mould in the bathroom and I had very noisy neighbours who were swearing at me when I asked them to be quiet at 1am in the morning.

The room was nice. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Aircon working perfectly. Both pools were great.

Bathroom could have been a bit cleaner. Not really a complain but we did book a pool view room and was instead given a room very close to the pool (no pool view) which was fine for us =))

The pool was nice and the restaurant staff were friendly.

The rooms were very dirty. The welcoming was not welcoming at all. We were greeted like cattle being herded into a room. During the check in process we were told by 2 different check in clerk that check in time was at 2 pm. We arrived at 1:55. They said our room was not ready. We waited in the restaurant and when we finally got to our room it looked like it still needed to be cleaned. We apparently had booked a deluxe room but nothing about the room was deluxe. Nothing seemed to have been cleaned properly or even at all. The sheets were dirty and the bathroom filthy. We wondered what they were doing when they said the room was not ready at 1:55.pm. The TV was also not working. We asked for an extra key but told it was an extra charge. We asked for extra towels and told it was an extra charge. If you wanted to book a massage, it would be done in your room and not in a dedicated area of the hotel. As well, areas of the building were in need of desperate repair. This is a Motel 6 trying to be a Hilton. The saving grace was that the restaurant staff were very accommodating. Also be careful hotel is on a busy street and is very dangerous and difficult to cross the today. And they are doing construction so some parts of the sidewalk are under repair.

The environment of the hotel is beautiful, like a hidden gem inside the big urbanised area.Wide selection and delicious breakfast.Various program possibilities inside, like tennis or billiard.

The pools are mostly for swimmers, there are no pool area with around 120-130cm where you can easily having a bath, just 50/150 or 160.

The breakfast was great, the people working at the hotel were very friendly, the pool was amazing and the rooms were nicely comfortable.

Half of the staff are trainees and they seem to be lacking some training (not their fault of course). This (or otherwise mistakes from the actual staff) led to some mistakes which then took their toll on us. For example, we had to pay upon arrival and they afterwards lost their copy of receipt of payment. Hence, the hotel staff couldn't find any better solution than ringing our room phone a bit before midnight while we were vast asleep for an early rise the next day, to ask us if we have our own copy of receipt of payment and can come down to give it to them, as they lost theirs. We explained we were asleep, this didn't sound urgent and a fault on their side, not our own, so we'd come by the next day. We let them make a copy of our receipt the next morning. The whole experience was incredibly unprofessional.

We really liked this hotel, lovely staff , good food, plenty of choice for breakfast, rooms were comfortable, the pool was really super . It was right beside a very busy road but inside the rooms and grounds you didn't hear any traffic noise. Great value for money.

Just two things , I did notice that because the restaurant was open air and the food wasn't all covered at the breakfast buffet there was sometimes flies landing on some items The other thing was the fact that you couldn't really walk anywhere, the traffic on the road outside was insane, but that was just location rather than an issue with the hotel.
