The noise from the construction going on was a bit too much

Our 31st visit to Griya Santrian - need I say more - we have grown old with some staff since 1991. It is a family business since 1972 and is undergoing a lot of additions and renovation now but very little noticeable noise etc. Room is fine but ageing

No - we will go back again

The hotel still has a Balinese characteristic. Not like some large resorts. All staff very friendly, not just front office .

I loved the location, on the beach, with the walking and biking trail alongside the ocean, and the iconic mall was close by

Great location to stay for one night before heading over to Nusa Lembongan. The grounds are lovely and will be even more so when the renovations are complete.

Hopefully, the restaurants will have a makeover soon. Since I had requested rooms together, we were assigned to the old rooms at the back.

This is the best hotel location in Sanur, a beautiful Balinese-style hotel, two huge swimming pools, clean beach, quiet and calm, very helpful staff

very meager breakfasts, hotel rooms don't look like they're worth the price they're asking for.

Perfect beachfront location. Delicious breakfast. Beautiful grounds and quite in the rooms. And many lovey details, like the art gallery, a chess board and beach toys. The staff was very friendly. We will be back!

Exceeded expectations. Have stayed in Sanur a few times before. Grita the best so far

The stupid Icon Mall. It caused us so many headaches trying to get around because of the traffic. For example , one night it took one hour to get to Pasar Sindhu because the Grab took us on a Jalan tikus experience and we still got jammed. Place is a waste and not adding value to Sanur. Actually, we won't be back to Sanur any time soon because it's so annoying and an eyesore. Perfect example of over tourism killing the golden goose!

Would have like more water provided in the room rather than the two small bottles Terrible service around the pool and bar so I went to Arena instead which is situated on the edge of the front ( stayed last year and service was great around pool & bar)The cocktails need improvement as they taste very weak and not cold or decorated enough…once again we went to Arena where they were much better Like our trip last year there was no one to greet us when we arrived or help with our luggage from the taxi…it was day time

Was a little disappointed with our room as it was right at the back of the resort & up stairs.

Great location on the beach, close to restaurants and shops. Walking promenade out the front, loved watching people walk/cycle past while enjoying breakfast, which was nice, and enjoyed an early morning walk myself. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful, there are 3 pools, we only used the main one near the beach, loved the chill vibe and music they played, the room we got was spacious and clean near the beach front, loved the big balcony. Bicycles can be rented for $5 a day. Hotel provides activities, yoga,(only one morning a week) cooking classes and how to make Balinese offering. Had lunch by the pool a few times and food was really nice.

Loved our stay, only recommendation would be for the price of the Hotel a water filter in the room would be nice.

I liked option of pools , food was good and staff friendly. Nothing was a hassle.Was great walking along boardwalk along beach to find dinning places.

The hot water in shower took a while to come through and the floor a little slippery so put a hand towel in floor for safety

The location excellent in a quiet and safe neighborhood closed to everything .

The food in the in hotel could be improved .

Had an enjoyable stay at the Griya. Loved the room, pool and location.

This is our second stay at the Griya. The breakfast this time around was not as good as previous occassion. If you wanted a good coffee like a latte or flat white you had to pay for it.

We loved the room, like a villa, breakfast was lovely, excellent choice of 3pools. All the staff were friendly with a smile ☺️
