Sagara Villas and Suites Sanur by AHM

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Had the best foot massage at their spa. The suite had its own bath tub and jacuzzi. Not beach front but they have designated beds and huts by the beach, just ask the reception for a voucher and look for sign of Sagara Villas.

We love our stay, our room is very spacious and comfortable. Even the baby coat is clean and comfortable for our 8 months old baby!The hotel staff are friendly and kind. Breakfast Was lovely and the location is very good, easy to get to the beach. Thank you to all the staff who has made our stay comfortable.

Breakfast and choices. The size of the room was awesome. Location was great too.

Having a swim in the pool early evening with people turning up to have their dinner by the pool.

A very lovely property that is convenient to everything. Impeccably clean and tidy. The staff are very kind and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic.

Rooms were big and ideal location for this particular stay.

Beach is close

The room planning is absolutely weird.The room had no windows, no natural light at all.We took the cheapest option, but I have never ran into a hotel that would have no windows. The planning is weird, you walk though a jacuzzi room with no windows to get into your room which also has no windows. I would recommend having some work done and turning the front jacuzzi room into a porch with big windows. Cause we felt like in a cave, had to have light on in daytime and mosquitoes were everywhere. Other places in Bali had mosquito repellents in the room, but not here. Beach is close, but dirty and full of rubbish, you will need to pay for the daybed from neighboring hotel, but even the water is not very nice to swim in as it’s full of weed… not really good area if you are looking for beach getaway.

Feels very luxurious! We loved that it wasn’t huge and the pool was just perfect!

Our jacuzzi didn’t actually work but we were happy to just have a bath ?

- the room was smelly. It smelt like an open drain after a period of time. It gave us a headache. - the jacuzzi didn’t work at all. - we had breakfast included as part of our package and it wasn’t good. The bread and fruits were stale.

Bar/restaurant staff were friendly at breakfast time. That’s it, I am afraid.

Beware- prior glowing reviews are for the villas which have windows and pools. They looked quite nice. I thought I’d booked one, but didn’t - my mistake. The “suites” however are unbelievably over priced. They have NO WINDOWS and are essentially ground floor garages on the main road. Couldn’t believe these airless gloomy, concrete boxes were the same price as the three luxury villas we stayed in, elsewhere in Bali, to which we have given glowing breathless reviews. Booked three bed and only after booking was I told the third bed had an extra charge (despite booking three bed place via Booking.com). That seems cheap. Only provided towels for two, every day, despite the three person booking and extra camp bed. No conditioner in shower and jacuzzi had no view and was too hot (cold tap didn’t work). Pool not clean- left hair sticky and dull with chemicals unlike all previous villa pools. Noise from the street from 6am. Rooms not cleaned properly day to day either (found food from first night, two days later on floor which should have been brushed or mopped). No luggage room and staff suggested we just leave luggage in middle of exposed drive, when we asked to store it for an afternoon, until I insisted it was at least kept near to the reception desk for security (a suggestion that was met with some muttering under their breath) . Not as close access to beach as claimed either- unless you access through the (better) hotel Puri Santrian next door. Never again.

Big rooms, great location, quiet pool areas & friendly helpful staff. Great location & Vietnamese restaurant is awesome.

We loved our stay, the bed was super comfortable and the room was huge! The breakfast was lovely but would have liked to be able to choose our own options rather than have set styles. Pool was lovely and walking distance to beach and beautiful restaurants was great. We hired bikes from resort and rode along the beach walk which made for a beautiful day.

Love this place had seen over few years but only ever ate in restaurant so was happy to see availability for our last minute trip. Only issue we had was we were in Villa 4 and it seems to back onto parking if some kind possibly staff for Puri Santrian next door so lots of noise late at night and very early in morning. Apart from that no issues and a special mention of Wayun beautiful lady in restaurant she was delightful.

The breakfast was great as was the service and staff. Bed was comfortable and the room was huge.Our room was dark, no natural light. Our room wasn’t serviced everyday even when we put out the Make up my room tag. Turn down service was hap hazard.

What an absolute gem this place is! Staff so incredibly friendly and help and all set in a beautifully managed garden. So sad to be leaving. But we’ll be back next time in Bali. ?

We were upgraded, and the villa was wonderful! The location is good for people who enjoy lots of shops and restaurants close by, but for those who prefer more quiet, it’s not the best choice. We chose it for one night, for easy access to the airport.

Key didn’t work to one bedroom, but it was taken care of.

A beautiful spot, but we just felt like a lot of stuff wasn’t explained to us upon checking in. We did arrive in between a huge downpour of rain…so not sure if that is why. Loved the villa though!

The staff were friendly, there were a few issues with facilities in the villa, but these were attended to and fixed straight away. Close to everything, and a beautiful Vietnamese restaurant at the front. Big and spacious private villa.
