Korurua Dijiwa Ubud

Listen, I never leave any reviews on booking so for me to leave this review is legit ! This is my partner’s review. I’m just copying and pasting it. She left it on Google but I legit agree with her as well.Wonderful experience! Chose Korurua Dijiwa for a double birthday gateway for me and my partner and we were not disappointed! Not only they upgraded us but also surprised us with 2 birthday cakes and birthday decorations.The room was fantastic, comfortable, spacious and a really beautiful balcony & pools.It's really close to the centre of Ubud yet feels more secluded which is a great combo.They have a bunch of other facilities like spa, shuttle, yoga and photography session which we didn't get to use but I'm sure are a great addition to the experience.Breakfast 10/10Sleep 12/10Location 10/10Service 20/10

Everything! The service was excellent. We immediately felt welcomed and taken care of. The room was large and I loved the layout, which included a balcony. They truly thought of everything we needed and couldn't have been more helpful. (Water, adaptors, beach towels, soap, shampoo,etc. The grounds were gorgeous and very well cared for. We were very pleased with the shuttles too. Our drivers were knowledgeable and went above and beyond. Thank you everyone.

Our room (Koru Suite with Yoga) was beautiful. It was spacious and we loved the outdoor bed, bath and patio. We had the upstairs pool to ourselves. The downstairs pool was equally beautiful, it was just a pity it rained so much during our stay. Breakfast was great (once we worked out the system). Yoga teacher was fabulous, free activities (offering and boreh making) were fun, too. The staff were so kind and thoughtful. The location has short walks to plenty of restaurants and spas.

There were a quite a few mosquitos around. The shuttle into Ubud should run more frequently.

The staff were very friendly and hospitable. The environment of the hotel is very nice, as if you are staying in a forest, intertwined with nature. The rooms are very big and cosy. The staff are doing everything they can for your comfort. This is the only place we will definitely choose for our next trip to ubud. Thanks for everything :)

Huge rooms and bed. The whole property was spacious and didn’t feel overcrowded. Beautiful setting!

Enjoyed everything of the property.

My room balcony has a very nice view of the valley. Room very sizeable and with good taste of bed linen. The owner shared a lot of good information about local culture, insects, pattern of Bali design, through little letters in the room. Which I really like. I like the online check in which make the process easier and efficientThe location is a bit outside of town, around 10mins bike or car drive from city center. But the trade off is hotel is really quite. Located in a very beautifully decorahted village, and there some nice restaurant around.

I don’t like being asked to move from the lobby to restaurant to have the welcome drink. Feel strange and don’t really want to move after a long day of travel. The shower towel looks not so clean.

Beautiful quiet spot. We slept great. Facilities were lovely. The room was a bit different than we expected, as lots of bugs were able to get into the room due to gaps around doors and windows. When we placed our towels on the floor as requested when asking for new towels, we were given beach towels that didn’t dry well and the bath mat was never changed so this was very dirty by the end of our stay. Old slippers were found under the bed and the roof and walls above curtains had dead bugs and dust and cobwebs so cleanliness could be better but overall was a lovely stay and beautiful incredibly well maintained gardens. The staff were so kind and responsive and remembered us by name.

This was our second stay in this superb hotel. The scenery, set in a beautiful garden, the location, the staff, the food - everything was just excellent and felt like coming home.

We already stayed in some hotels from the Dijiwa Sanctuaries group. This hotel a has a good standard and a good price/value ratio.You have the feeling that you are staying in the jungle, the room is big and well-maintained. We enjoyed our stay !

The garden is amazing, so many different species from plants!!! The staff are so kind and helpful, I felt like I was my home with my people!!!

Only thing is that the staff is very involved in your plans and where you are going. Can get a bit annoying when they always ask you a lot of questions when you pass the reception, but it’s meant well :)

It was a great stay, with lovely staff.

I think it is expensive for what it is. The Spa area is not situated well as it's near the guests' rooms and you can hear a lot of noise.

Location really not easy??

Hospitality and overall design of the premise. Good selection of bfast with vegetarian option.

When we arrived, we were informed that the adjacent property is under construction and would pose considerable noise. Though our 'serene' expectation were spoiled but it's not unbearable. Then on second day, during one of my remote work calls, the internet went kaput. They sent someone which we thought will fix the issue but turns out only testing connection (not event looking at the router or it's peripherals) from inside our room. Why can't you tested it from outside? It remained off for over 24 hours. Again not something unbearable as we still have our mobile and we want to enjoy 'off the grid' exp anyway.But the biggest problem came on the third day. We rented a private villa with all glass wall looking at the backyard from the bathroom. When my wife was washing up, 2 guys enter the backyard premise without any warning. She was scared since she thought the whole villa was private. Luckily she wasn't indecent but for us this was an invasion to our privacy. We complained and someone came to apologize and that's all! I'm attaching the photo of wall which was broken and easily tresspased.We were extremely disappointed with this exp and thinking of checking out right away but we had plans and unfortunately can't be easily adjusted.As part of the token of apology they offered us free massage. The price for the service is steep, at par with those at Westin or Plataran however the quality is subpar. Wouldn't recommend that to anyone at that price level.For breakfast, we had it at Uma Tiki. Though the selection was good, taste wise just so so.

The resort has a very nice garden, ok swimming pool, sauna. The room is big.

The staff is very picky, They have too many questions, and try to sell extra services. Breakfast is very small and the same every day.

I am very much satisfied with my stay here.Amazing place. Very kind, welcoming and helpful staff. What an hospitality!Great designs in the room. Nice yoga class and pool views. Delicious food from the restaurant. Couldn't book the SPA but also that looked very nice.

The staff is definitely the most friendly and helpful I have ever met in a hotel. We have some issue regarding the room, the manager and staff helped resolve it quickly and effectively. The property is absolutely beautiful. Breakfast is good. We leave early in the morning, they prepared a full package of food for us.My family members had the massage, highly recommended.

Everything is exceeding 5-star standard, however, the cleaning standard is like 3-star. In general it is acceptable clean, but can be improved, as well as can update things spray hand-shower, or curtains.

a home away from home, lush green , excellent service, mayoni & other staff were exceptional, 10 mins drive or scooty ride to the centre , overall it's a 10 out of 10 property.

The private pool in our secluded garden was a real treat. Comfortable bed, good internet. Very helpful staff. Restorative massage after a long flight.

The distance from Denpasar is not huge but traffic & small roads mean it takes a lot of time to get anywhere
