The ARTOTAL, Haniman, Ubed staff is excellent! They are friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The hotel is clean, quiet, and safe. The hotel is located in a very convenient part of 'downtown' Ubed. You can walk to the art market in about 30 minutes - it's a fun walk. It is very easy to walk to restaurents or coffee shops from this hotel. You can also use the 'GRAB' app (the Bali version of Uber) to get to anyhere from here. The restaurant attached to the hotel is affordable and the food is good. Overall, great stay at ARTOTEL.

Everything was great, from staff to breakfast, which they serve in the cafe near by. Highly recommended to also try the dishes there outside of breakfast, was our favorite place in Ubud to eat, never disappointed.The room was very big, plus we had free yoga classes.

This place is a small boutique hotel and gorgeous. Modern clean rooms, nice private terrace, great location, walking distance to monkey forest, palace, temples, art market and great restaurants / cafes. Service was impeccable, very friendly staff, leaving cute notes after room clean and gift upon arrival. Good air con, comfy bed and pillows, smart tv, loved the decor overall. Couldn't fault this place, not to mention the great massage! Cafe next door 'Flock' make great coffees although nice touch to have coffee machine in my room. Peaceful and chilled, no riff raff.

Bathroom area a bit dark, needs a brighter light in front of mirror, hard to apply make up :)

Artotel Ubud is a great and very clean hotel with easy access to all the main places in Ubud. I stayed here recently and had a very comfortable and enjoyable experience.The location is excellent, and the roads around the hotel are good for walking or riding a scooter if anyone wants to explore. The hotel is super clean, and I didn’t see any animals like lizards or cockroaches. Room service was always available, fast, and very professional.All the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay.I truly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Ubud

The location is excellent, close to most attractions, restaurants, and cafes (all within about 25 minutes walking). I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly, and the services were great. They provide laundry service, a private car with driver for sightseeing at a fair price, and even affordable massage options.

Just a note: if you leave food leftovers in the room, you may find ants ?, so it’s best to keep things tidy.Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

This hotel was great, it was super close to everything and the staff was really kind. Lots of great amenities. Restaurant next door was a bonus to the stay!!I also had a lizard in my room and the staff came in and took care of it immediately!

I wish they gave new cups when cleaning the room, my cups were used and dirty and when I asked if I can get new cups they told me to clean it myself.

Large room, central location, quick response via WhatsApp, good spa services, luggage storage for the night we had to stay at a different hotel, will stay again.

My partner and I had an amazing stay at this boutique hotel, and I can’t recommend it enough! We stayed in Studio 30, which was incredibly spacious and comfortable—exactly what we needed after long days of exploring.One of the highlights was the honeymoon spa package—so relaxing and the perfect way to unwind. We also loved that they provided a catalog of services, making it easy to see all the amenities available. Though we didn’t end up using it, the laundry service was a big factor in choosing this hotel, and it’s great to know it’s there for future stays.The location is excellent—just a short walk to Monkey Forest and Chontea Matcha House, and a quick ride to Merlin’s (we visited each of these places multiple times!). If we return to Ubud on our way back from Amed, we’ll definitely stay here again.Lastly, the customer service was outstanding—special thanks to Dewa and Sangayu for their quick responses on WhatsApp and making our stay so smooth.

Book in advance, especially during high season! We tried extending our stay day by day but ended up having to switch hotels for one night before returning—worth it, though!

The stairs to my assigned room. I arrived in the evening and it just rained. Quite a lot of stairs and were wet due to the rain. Thankfully my suitcase was brought up by the staff. Staff were attentive and helpful.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is very central with just a short walk to restaurants and shops. The breakfast was included and in the cafe next door to the hotel and it was very nice. The yoga classes twice a week were a great addition. As much bottled water as you require was appreciated. We also received a nice complimentary tote bag and some snacks. The shower was fabulous and the bed was large and comfortable.

The only issue we had was with our balcony door as it would not lock but the staff were able to fix it when we were out and about so this was only a minor concern.

The apartment is beautifully designed, and I especially love the rattan details.The pool isn’t large, but it’s perfect for a quick dip. Breakfast was delicious—I especially loved the karaage don. The restaurant next door is also lovely, and the food is incredibly tasty. The staff are warm and attentive, always accommodating our requests with a friendly smile.

The hotel is located right by the street, so during my afternoon nap, I could hear some cars and motorcycles passing by. However, it’s much quieter at night, and I had no trouble sleeping. The windows and doors are also well soundproofed, which really helps reduce the noise.

The room was super clean, the staff is amazing and the food from their restaurant had us eating so much more than we actually could because it was so good!

The pool is on the smaller side but that’s still not bad. We would’ve loved if the room would allow more daylight to come in. It was quite dark if no light were on during the day.

I had an incredible experience staying at Artotel Haniman in Ubud. The room was beautifully designed, with stylish furniture and a huge, super comfortable bed that made it hard to leave in the morning!Breakfast is served at the coffee shop next door and it was absolutely delicious – a perfect start to each day. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming throughout my stay, and they went above and beyond by preparing a lovely birthday surprise in my room. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made my day extra special.Overall, everything from the design to the service was top-notch. Highly recommended – I’d love to come back again!

The rooms were large and generally comfortable. We were in the only two rooms on the top floor (3rd) other than the office and the spa, so we didn't have any passing foot traffic. There was also a lovely little welcome package on our beds as well. The staff were wonderful and accommodated our every need. They also helped us book a tour guide through the hotel that took us out for 5 hours to see Ubud. The hotel also offers welcome drinks and food vouchers for the cafe next door, and spa packages. The central location makes it easy to catch a Grab to anywhere in central Ubud for next to nothing. We had a great spa experience and chose to do it as our very last activity to round out our holiday :)

The street outside is busy and chaotic at all times, which can make it quite noisy and the sound travels into the rooms. The hotel does offer ear plugs though, so they're aware of the noise factor and counteract it best they can - this would be a problem anywhere in Ubud though, so not the fault of the hotel. We had a little trouble locking our balcony doors until we were shown the trick to it. I found the bed to be a little hard, but it didn't affect my quality of sleep at all. I also found there was no hot water going to the vanity sink, so I had to wet my face cloth of a morning in the shower to get it hot. There's no lift / elevator, which was tough on our legs after a long day of sight-seeing at first, but I was running up the three flights by the last day without any trouble.

Good experience , It was nyepi ( Islands Festival of Silence ). Hotel made it extra special by providing us with proper information , breakfast , lunch, and dinner during that particular day . They provided breakfast every day for us, including an additional meal for my 9-year-old boy . Thou the breakfast comes with a menu, not like a standard Hotel buffet set up . Oh , the bed , could I bring it back home ? So, comfortable. The staff , very friendly , Pak Wayan ( The hotel security ) and I had a good chat ( Hello to you ) see you again soon pak . The pool was impeccably clean and maintained . The room's layout is kind of unique , The bathroom is clean , and the water is not smelly like other hotels usually filled with chlorine odor , this one always had hot water and was not stinky. I loved the stay , If I do visit Ubud again. ARTOTEL is my choice for sure .

Simple and elegant design. Beds are very spacious and comfortable. We had a lot of luggage including surfboards and the staff was very forthcoming with bringing it to our rooms and storing it on the day of departure. One day day of our stay while I was sick, the reception and checked in with me if there was anything they could provide me with. Outstanding hospitality. Also the airport shuttle was very convenient and was of the staff members drove us!
