    Pros +

    • We love the room! It was spacious, comfortable, cozy, and clean. You can relax and have a good sleep, plus it has a patio. Breakfast was also good - fresh and delicious. We had direct access to the pool. It wasn't too big but the resort was also not overcrowded.
    • The room was amazing and the staff was lovely and very helpful! The pool is clean and the entire place is very taken care of.
    • The staff are so welcoming and accommodating. Even asking if we had any dietary restrictions, which we did. Was a thoughtful touch. Location is close enough to the town centre that you can still get there easily, but far enough out to have quiet and relax. The spa is wonderful, and the pool is perfect for floating about and relaxing poolside.

    Cons -

    • The activities are scheduled on specific days only - I wish they made them available everyday so guests will have the opportunity to take them based on their schedules. The location was so-so. It's not in the downtown area so it was quiet and has one convenience store near it. If you like to have access to nearby restaurants or shops, it may not be the best place for you.
    • Having to leave! And, the traffic. Getting anywhere by car takes time, adjust your expectations to Bali traffic - school finishes at 12 noon and from there on, the traffic is congested. But get to the town centre early enough to avoid it, and just walk everywhere! We traveled from Canggu, and it took over 3 hrs- which could have been avoided if we knew to travel earlier.
    • The only area for improvement might be to have better coffee in the room (instead of nescafe). That's literally the only thing.

Beautiful resort, well appointed rooms, luxurious bed and bath. I honestly couldn't think of one negative thing to say about this place. Great Asian fusion at the restaurant and western style breakfast which is included in the room rate. The spa was divine and great value too. Hotel did everything from.arrange a scooter rental to drop me at the airport. They also had nice and affordable wines in the minibar which I appreciated since these seem hard to come by in Indonesia. Didn't take advantage of the pool or on-site yoga but saw others do so and seem to enjoy themselves.

The only area for improvement might be to have better coffee in the room (instead of nescafe). That's literally the only thing.

We stayed in the Tropical Deluxe Room, located on the first floor with a beautiful view of the pool and a spacious balcony. Perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The room was cozy and well-appointed, offering the comfort you’d expect while still staying connected to nature. The entire property is nestled in a lush, jungle-like setting, which was a pleasant and unexpected surprise. It created a serene and peaceful ambiance, ideal for a rejuvenating break. One of the highlights was the open space available for morning yoga or meditation The staff were warm, friendly, and always ready to help, which added to the overall charm of our stay. The only minor downside was the breakfast. While everything served was delicious and well-prepared, the variety is limited and tends to get repetitive if you’re staying for more than a few days.Pro Tips:1) Book your spa session in advance! We made the mistake of walking in and it was fully booked.2) There’s a Batik class nearby, just a short walk from the back of the hotel - a unique local experience worth trying. All in all, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this property for anyone looking for a peaceful, nature inspired retreat with excellent hospitality.

The resort was absolutely beautiful ? The breakfast each day was good and had good variety. Anggu at the front desk was so helpful and knew the name of every person in our group.

The facilities were amazing. The food and service was also so good and so well priced. We loved the relaxed feel of the resort. Its small and personalized. The spa was also great. The only thing i would say is if you want the free shuttle to pick you up send a message about 15 mins before so they dont forget you. Otherwise it was such an amazing place to stay.

It's was great. The day spa is beautiful, and I was able to book in every day with no problems. The room was tidy and so clean. The pool area is bigger than in the photos. The pool bar had good drinks and well priced. Yoga was great small classes so it was very personal. It's a short drive out of Ubub centre. The property itself is so well looked after the gardens are beautiful. We will go back next year. We ate at the restaurant 3 nights was very good.

Gorgeous accommodations and pool. The staff is extremely helpful and genuinely friendly. Especially Anga, who went the extra mile to make my stay even more memorable.

I spent three very pleasant nights at Honai Resort. In terms of location, the hotel is far from the noisy Ubud Center. However, there are supermarkets nearby, which is very convenient. Also, the hotel provides three free shuttle services to the city center every day. The hotel offers a selection of breakfasts, which are abundant and delicious. In addition, the hotel has a swimming pool and yoga classes that guests can participate in. I'm extremely grateful to NOPEY. He was very enthusiastic and offered me a lot of help. When my slippers broke, he kindly tried to glue them for me. When I checked out, he give us gifts for blessing, I like it very much. I had a wonderful time here.

The location is amazing. Just few minutes away from Ubud centreThe cottages are very spacious and really loved the excellent bath tub made out of rock

Nothing in particular its just if the breakfast menu could have more options

    - Breakfast is absolutely delicious, several options and all friendly to dietary issues. - Lunch/Dinner menu also has both western and eastern options for all tastes- Staff are wonderful, especially Nopey at reception. - The resort is relaxing, and peaceful. The spa menu had lots of options and was more expensive than you get elsewhere but well worth it. - Location is good, 10min taxi to the centra area in Ubud and a short drive from other attractions (Monkey forest, rice fields, etc)- Room is beautiful, giant bathtub with bubbles provided.

Only a handful of pool loungers but it wasn't an issue when we stayed!

The property itself is very charming, it’s not too far from the city centre but far enough from the busy and chaotic that’s Ubud. The villa’s are very spacious and have great facilities. The staff are really amazing, and also the restaurant served really amazing dishes.

The only thing i find is cleanliness, i was going to use the bidet but there was some marks left on it. So you can imagine what it was, which is quite disappointing. Also the decorative pillow that was put on our bed, in the exception of the sleeping pillows, we can tell that its not been washed because of the smell.. and the room was a little dusty.

Loved the pool, staff very friendly and comfy bed

Lot's of mosquitos and the pillows not so great

Everything was exceptional at this property. So peaceful. Beautiful room, surroundings, food, coffee and the staff go above and beyond to make you feel special. As a solo traveller I felt very safe. Will definitely be back next Christmas and NY.
