Adiwana Svarga Loka - A Retreat Resort

Breakfast was supposed to be buffet style but we were there in low season so ordered from menu which was fine. They did have some cold selections available.

The shower was quite mouldy however given the humidity its understandable. The main pool is a long walk down a lot of steps, ok going down but coming up was difficult.

The construction was a bit annoying to completely feel at peace but without it I have no doubt it would have been perfect

Everything was amazing…. From the time we were greeted on arrival with a blessing to when we left the staff could not have been more outstanding and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Loved the beautiful setting of the forest all around to the sound of the running river below.

It is a gorgeous property w/ temples, terraces, sacred banyan trees, and such friendly, helpful staff.

Some stairways were a bit steep, but it was magical to explore the property.

The service was impecable. Super kind and generous. They offer great workshops and classes to get to know the culture deeper.

Nothing. Just be careful with slippery stairs as it is deep down in nature!

The property is in a great location, in walking distance to a variety of cafes and restaurants, if you are adventurous and don’t mind the heat you can walk to the city centre easily. The Spa is beautiful , very serene and its location is the best of the whole resort. You are welcomed with beautiful smiles, kindness and a blessed ceremony. The breakfast is lovely, plenty to choose from for all tastes. The menus are very nice too. The property is central yet tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city, so very quiet. Overall highly recommended for few days in Ubud, I stayed 1 week.

My only concern is that I was in a room with connecting doors (ideal for families or friends travelling together but I was by own and I cherish my quietness). For few nights I had neighbours whom were a bit loud. So maybe better keep the connecting doors rooms for family and friends. And my room was facing the restaurant so not so private. Everything else was lovely.

Absolutely amazing hotel, close to city center! Very peaceful and relaxed, tranquil. Breakfast was delicious and staff was brilliant. Room was very big, biggest that I've stayed in any hotel so far

Just one issue that you could hear your next door neighbour. Two nights in a row a crying baby woke us up

Amazing location, the breakfast was absolutely delicious buffet style and loads of options. The rooms were so lovely, they had blackout curtains perfect for nighttime. Drinks in the mini fridge are free and restocked daily.

Amazing breakfast with excellent coffee, free yoga classes, beautiful spa.

Unfortunately rooms are bad isolated so you can hear your neighbours and sometimes it can be really annoying if you have someone loud above you.

Everything was great! The hotel feels like a museum — so many beautiful details and such a special atmosphere. Loved the views, the room, and the warm welcome. Truly amazing experience!

Nothing to dislike about property. The access though, It's unfortunate that they got impacted by policy of closing the street access from Jl Raya Campuhan to Jl Penestanan during the day to evening, causing a 10 km detour from downtown Ubud to the hotel that only 2 km away. In result, guests having hard time finding taxi (mostly refuse) and it cost a lot moreBasically, it kills businesses around Panestanan area.

We had a great stay. It is located in a very central area, where everything we needed was within walking distance, but it was also tucked away in a quite street which was very peaceful. The restaurant on site was delicious and had so many options, often live entertainment with dinner.

The peace and tranquillity the beauty of the surroundings the kindness of the staff. Although it does not offer the glitz and glamour of the big hotels the charm of an authentic Bali was so restful. I didn’t miss the obvious glitz of other resorts it only enhanced my ability to relax an refocus.

I would have liked a shuttle service maybe once a day to visit the town. Complimentary.

The location

It was not clean, bed sheets were dirty with stain and dirt. The next day i asked to clean and then i found blood stain on the bed sheet and the hotel manager were telling me the blood is caused by me!

Great location within walking distance to central Ubud but tucked away in its own quiet green oasis. The staff were all very friendly and provide a high level of customer service.

They gave me the room where there were lot of rooster noise. They never informed me and instead of changing it immediately they made me wait.

It’s an amazing place—spacious and perfect for relaxing. You can unwind by the river, enjoy a massage, and take in the calm, serene atmosphere. Staff was lovely! They are super kind and helpful a the time. I had a great time there !

The location was very good and the outlook very relaxing. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast included was also very good. Would stay with them again based largely on staff and location.

Room was smaller than expected from website photos and could hear guests in next room at times. Woken early most mornings by a crowing rooster from neighbouring property.

Good breakfast buffet. Beds comfortable. Room clean and tidy. Great air conditioning. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Lovely welcome ritual.

A lot of stairs on the property, particularly down to main pool and spa. Not accessible for people with mobility limitations. The room was smaller than expected. We had paid for "all inclusive" but could not find out before arrival exactly what that meant. We were told a short walk from main Ubud, but 20+ minutes and down very steep hill, with dangerous traffic (no footpath).
