Surya Kembar Luxury Villas

The hotel is wonderful. A good old Bali. Clean, green, and quiet. But still close to the Ubud center. The restaurant is perfect as well. We will return there for sure.

Very peaceful and the staff was very attentive and accommodating.

Lots of bugs, my first room the bed sheets were a bit dirty.

We loved staying at Surya Kember Villas. The style is classic Balinese with wood structures, thick vegetation, meandering stone walkways, and rustic, clean swimming pools dotted throughout. The property offers a range of accommodation, including rooms, small villas, and three-bedroom, self-catered villas. They have a great restaurant in the center. I know many people write about great restaurants, but I have to point out that they have an extensive menu with something for everyone, and every meal was top-notch. The service was incredible. Hats off to the chef, cooks, waiters, bellmen, front desk, and everyone else who make Surya Kember a great place to stay. Thank you, thank you. I shall return.Kent

The place is very nice with beautiful scenery

Bugs can cone inside the room, our bathroom shower was not working well there was no hot water we had to call for them to fix it every time and still the water pressure was weak and the water can suddenly become cold mid shower

Gorgeous property nestled into the jungle landscape , huge beautiful room , private vanishing edge pool , helpful friendly, attentive staff , excellent food and service . I can’t say enough about this Villa . Amazing ! I would 100 percent recommend staying here . We were sad to leave .

If you have knee, back or hip issues hard to maneuver stairs and uneven ground

Beautiful rooms, close to a day club where you get free access. 15 minute drive to center of Ubud on a good day 1 hour on a bad day. They have a free car that can take you into town and pick you up. Leaves 3 times a day. Breakfast included in the room was a nice touch. Staff were lovely. Gojeks do go to this place.

Beds were huge and made up each day. Beds were firm so if you like a bed that is firmer that's good if you are looking for super soft you will find it hard. Shower did go cold on us a few times and no hot water came back, but as it's 30 degrees, not the end of the world, just wasn't a consistent temperature.

Though the location wasn’t far, there was a lot of traffic to get into and out of Ubud.

Staff very friendly and accommodating and easy to communicate with through wats app. Facilities are brilliant, especially having use of Titi Batu club.Breakfasts were a great start to the day with a wide variety of items on the menu which suited the whole family.

Lovely accommodation, nice and quiet and peaceful. The staff were all so lovely, especially the girls at reception - so smiley and helpful, big thank you to them . Villa was clean and pool was great.

The room was amazing, the staff were amazing, the breakfast was amazing. The fact that you can also use Titi Batu made it even more amazing :) Would 100% recommend. Just be aware that it is a few minutes out of UBUD centre, but very easy to get to. We knew this in advance so it will not affect my rating.

Everything. The service was wonderful. The design and style beautiful and top quality. The location perfect. The gym access next door is a big plus. The food was really good. The natural environment is exaclty what I look for when I go to Bali. I come every year now and I always come back to Surya Kembar Villas. My favorite room is the river room. Ayu and Ulan were golden, so helpful and kind. I feel at home at Surya Kembar Villas.

Beautiful villas set in quiet part of Ubud - tranquil and peaceful stay. Great selection of food available. The breakfast provided is excellent.

Nothing - it was excellent!

As usual in Bali the staff are always friendly and helpful. It never seems that any effort is too much. I always enjoy everyone saying hello, asking about our day, querying whether any help is needed. We asked for a more private room and found ourselves next to the stream hearing the lovely rushing water (it was wet season so not surprising). The rice paddy in the center of the venue was so lovely.

The number of stairs to access the restaurant and some rooms could be a struggle for some. However, the topography does add to the venue's ambience. I would wish for the restaurant to add a automatic toaster to use at breakfast. A small toaster oven isn't very effective. However, the included breakfast is excellent.

The quality for the price is exceptional! We stayed at Villa Sunday for three weeks. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The daily cleaning service kept our floors and bathroom spotless.The included breakfast was excellent, featuring fresh juices and a variety of options.Nextdoor fitness club is also included with the very modest price. The on-site restaurant was outstanding for this price range - our friends staying at other hotels in the area joined us to dine here.We especially loved the Balinese grill every Friday!Additionally, the laundry service was top-notch, ensuring our clothes were returned promptly, impeccably clean, and perfectly folded.

A gecko ( big lezard) pooped from the ceiling on our bed 3 times. The staff tried their best to take it out but failed. Finally, after 3 days, they installed a net above our bed to prevent the issue. Still, we were not comfortable with the presence of the gecko in our room.The restaurant was awful with very limited choices of breakfast menus and unprofessional staff. Tbh, unless the management resolves the gecko problem and upgrades the restaurant, I would not recommend to anybody to stay in Surya Kembar.

Beautiful grounds. Restaurant was excellent. Walking distance to an excellent gym (included in your stay costs). Room was beautiful and large and very private.

It was a bit pricey for the location, but we were happy to have stayed because it was close to the town but more calm on that street.
