Dupa Ubud Villa

The entire experience was wonderful, beautiful gardens and nature with lovely tall palm trees, a small jungle, and rice fields. The swimming pool was amazing. The banana pancakes were very good and the fresh juices and fruit in the morning. Very friendly staff. I loved the authenticity of this accommodation, that it remained traditional Balinese. Alos good location, close to everything but not in the centre, and there was lots of space . and two restaurants right there.

Just the noisy road if you are staying in the top wooden houses you can hear all the noise from the road like the scooters.

Close our friends at Warung Bintang Bali and out of the busy heart of Bali. Nice big room and bed comfortable. Staff were friendly and remembered us when we stayed there 3years ago.

The sheets, pillow cases and towels had all seen better days, as they were tattered but were replaced when i pointed it outThe deck near swimming pool was dangerous -;rotted through. Needs some TLC. Breakfast not included

Loved everything,stayed in the private villa and loved it so peaceful and very clean,,fully equiped kitchen,big bathroom with a bath super hot water and good water pressure,,close enough to everything,,staff couldnt have been more welcoming and helpful they were fantastic..there is a litte warung on the property with yummy food,the views of the ricefields right outside your door,have recomended it to my friends and family

Nothing loved everything

We loved Dupa. Private pool room fantastic, quiet, clean and well facilitated. Overlooking the rice paddies and heron roost. Short stroll to an amazing warung, Bintang Bali.

The villa with pool, is very spacious, with large fridge and small kitchen, staff are very attentive, full of smiles and helpful, room cleaned and serviced fantastic. Asked for breakfast in villa and delivered on time. Breakfast options are adequate offering. Scooter hire also avaliable through them at good price too.Arranged taxi transfer to airport, prompt and good service too.

Amazing rooms with private pool. Fantastic staff. This was our second visit and we love this property.

The facility were lacking in all areas. It was not what was advertised on their website and booking.comThe kitchen had no electric kettle no toaster, oven,no pots, cooking utensils. Nothing other than an old fridge and two gas stove and old camp style kettle

Great tropical vibe, villas and room around of rice fields, with a nice swimming pool facing tropical forest. Small and cozy resort, safe to walk around. Quiet, could hear the nature around us. Really large room, separate toilet from bath/shower area, great outdoor patio with private swimming pool. Had pool towels. Very confortable bed. Nice and friendly staff, owner very helpful.

Breakfast could be a little better, it had enough but not many variety from each choice.Location a bit far from center, restaurants. We rented a motorcycle at the hotel, took around 5 minutes to closest restaurants, 15 to downtown.Room lack of face towels, but that wasn't a problem.

The staff was really nice and responsive.

The villa us old and damaged. no appliances, no sound-proof at all. The bedrooms got flooded theough the roof with the first rain. tons of frogs and lizzards getting into all holes on the house.

Super comfortable stay, plenty of space in the room with a lot of storage space. Big fridge (we could fit a 5 litre bottle of water with still lots of space remaining). Shower was big and had hot water. Provided 2 towels each (one for shower, one for pool). Staff always made bed everyday and restocked on toilet paper when needed.

A bit far out of the main town so have to get a taxi / motorbike into Ubud but there was a Circle K within walking distance as well as a block of a few local restaurants. The pool was cleaned at an inconvenient time: we went to go in about 3-4pm and we were told we had to wait an hour. Also there was a couple geckos on our roof which would be very noisy at night but not hotel’s fault of course.

Overall the villa was spacious, clean and light-filled with a luxurious king bed, air con, ceiling fan and mosquito net. We had no problems at all with mosquitos either in the room or outside and the private outdoor area and plunge pool (approx. 3m x 5m) was perfect for relaxing in the sun or shade. One bedroom villa: spacious, clean and light-filled with beautiful early morning sun. Huge king bed with mosquito net was comfortable and the air con and fan were quiet enough to leave on at night if needed. Bathroom had the best shower ever with a freestanding bath and loads of space. Private pool: Clean, well designed and completely private, surrounded by gardens with lots of birdlife (see photos) the one bedroom villa with private pool is exactly as described and we had ten days of undisturbed luxurious bliss : )Shared pool: the large shared infinity pool (see photos) is beautifully located on the edge of the resort right at the eastern edge of the forest. Plenty of loungers and space to relax or eat while enjoying the peaceful views.Breakfast: tasty and simple, we had fried rice, juice and coffee every day and the breakfast was always fresh and quick with fantastic friendly service.Staff: at all times the staff were friendly and helpful but unobtrusive, available at all hours (we checked in around 2am).Weather: it was rainy season and we had rain most days but it never lasted for long and the sun always came out and dried things up pretty quick. In ten days there wasn't a single day that we weren't able to get out for a ride on the motorbike if we wanted, although we often chose to stay close to the villa and relax poolside.Mosquitos: there weren't any! The villa is fully equipped with a mosquito net and I was expecting to have to avoid the outdoor area in the morning and evenings but we had zero problems with mosquitos and were able to enjoy the private courtyard and plunge pool at all hours of the day and night.

Really hard to fault this place especially for the price, but it would be nice to have a secure covered area for the motorbikes, and the eating area and decking by the shared pool is getting a bit rundown.

Liked everything about our stay. Beautiful and tranquil viewing the rice fields. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. Made our stay in Bali memorable. We definitely will be staying at Dupa Ubud when we return to Bali.

Everything was good. Newer towels would be nice and two pillows for each person is recommended. Further everything is perfect.

The wooden house was really awesome and clean, lots of place and everything you need during holiday. The staff is very nice and always helpful. Breakfasts were tasty and fresh. It's also only few km from the main street in Ubud which is perfect as it's not to close to the city noise and traffic but also approachable to even walk there.

The only thing I didn't like was quite a big noise each night because of really loud chickens close to the hotel. Consider taking ear plugs with you.

AriAdi the manager is the most beautiful person with the most beautiful soul. He felt like family and would do anything to help anyone. All of the staff were lovely. the villas, gardens and pool were fabulous.

Size of the room and quality of the bathroom and shower was amazing, bath is huge with separate shower with stepping stones to it. Room was really lovely and toiletries provided. Was great value for money, peaceful and east to get grab bikes / taxis into Ubud. A lovely cafe fruit organic cafe down the road for daytime smoothie bowls, plus a great very inexpensive restaurant on opposite side of the road about 100m away.

Reception area is next to road and could be dressed up a bit more to match the room quality, as per the main pool,which has great view but bit run down. Breakfast was average. Not that many restaurants nearby for evening and hard to walk places as no pavement and limited lighting.
