Quiet, serene resort with hospitable and friendly staff. Serves good food and the massage is relaxing!

A bit far from attractions but just hire a private driver to drive you around. The pros outweigh the cons!

Nothing. It was dirty and disgusting. The staff was mostly absent and whenever present they were incompetent

Bathroom was filthy and there were cobwebs with spiders inside. I complained after first night and was assured that it will be cleaned, but nothing was done. I cleaned the bathroom myself the next day so that I could use it. There was dog shit every time i stepped out of my room. The furniture was broken, curtains were stained. Felt like I was staying in a seedy motel. Was happy when our stay was finally over.

Toilet in restaurant area needs renovation.There was also a lot of noise from other guests in adjoining rooms.

Lack of maintenance. My toilet wouldnt flush despite repeated requests and the toilet in the guest reception area was filthy.

Great staff and good value for our money. Privacy and fast service.

Wonderful.Stayed in the double room for a night, while awaiting our villa with pool. This room as fantastic! Beautiful outdoor bathroom.

So wonderful to return to the Sungu Resort and Spa after 10 years.Still as beautiful as it was before.It feels like you are staying with Family Amazing staff, beautiful gardens, incredible private villa in a traditional Balinese style compound gardens.Great location for walks and Ubud vegan/ yoga/ spa experiences

Lovely small resort, staff are so friendly. My room was like a mini villa and was beautiful. The location is like a small village outside of the main town of Ubud and it was perfect for us for a few days of yoga, great food places and foot massages

The property was undergoing renovations of which I was not advised. I was using the outdoor shower when tradesmen started working on the roof and were looking down into the outdoor shower. I had to cut my shower short and move inside. Went to have the included breakfast but could not remain in the restaurant due to the intolerable noise from the renovations. The property should never have put anyone on the room next to the renovations whole other rooms were vacant!

Breakfast and the staff was amazing - Loved the whole experience from arrival to departure. Will definitely stay here again. Wifi was good - outdoor shower was to die for.

The pool

Everything , very old neglected building, linen to old and bed uncomfortable mosquitos everywhere, none fumigate our room . Vv

Beds were great. Pool was nice.

Fridge could’ve had a little more to offer and mini bar.

Breakfast is very average and the staff are very rude. Everybody here only wants to make money from the guests. Staff here will try to set you up on travels with their cab for a hefty fee and commission. When you refuse, they give information about your wearabout to the driver who sends you abusive messages demanding why you didn't book trips with them. Horrible experience with the staff. There is no hot water and they don't change your bed sheets at all. We stayed there for 5 days and none of the day it was changed

Beautiful resort with lots of space for 4 people.They also offered daily transfer from the resort to the town center.Facilities were clean

Didn’t have enough plugs to charge phones. We got to unplug the lights to use the charger.

everything..no proper lights, hot water was not coming,old cottages,cracked bath tub, mosquitoes,no vegetarian food, no amenities

The resort is amazing with nature all around you. The location is great and is near to Ubud Center and they offer a free bus shuttle.The staff was very helpful, friendly and responsive. The pools are very nice, the whole resort is very cozy and relaxing.I'll definitely recommend this place!We loved our stay there.

Since nature is all around you so there are different kinds of insects and geckos but honestly, the room was always clean and no insects were inside.
