    Pros +

    • We were assigned a private villa which was nice n spacious however it was 150 metres away from the property itself. The pool in the main property was nice. The staff were generally very attentive & responded to all messages over WhatsApp quite promptly.
    • Our driver and the other staff were great.
    • Pool and garden

    Cons -

    • Since the villa was not part of the main property plot, it felt disconnected & somewhat unsafe specially during the nights since we were with a young child. The neighbouring villas were of random locals & not hotel guests. Breakfast was average.
    • Our room had multiple issues, we had no power when we checked in, and the pool was green. We had to move rooms to main villa the next night, on the 3rd day we moved back to our original villa and the pool was half empty with still power issues. We were not happy, and they moved us again to Arya Villa near buy, it was terrific however we booked a 3-bedroom villa with separate bathrooms, and our second and third location only had 2 bedrooms therefore 2 of us had to share even though we paid for separate rooms initially. I believe the property was faulty from the very start and were just another booking to get revenue. Also, breakfast was delivered at the first villa as the villa was located a short drive away from main reception and facilities, it felt very isolating and the quality of the breakfast was average compared to the second day when we had to move the main villa for the second night.
    • Rooms pretty dirty and old. Bad lightings in the room (with even cold lights) and antiquate electrical system.Geckos in the room near the bed for 3 nights (they play loud sound during all the night even if are not dangerous).I selected the clear option “Pay at the property in cash” when booking on Booking, but two days before my stay they started sending me messages saying they would take the prepayment from my card, and that’s exactly what they did.The room was located under some kind of office or kitchen, and every morning we were woken up by people walking around and making noise from above. The staff’s English is quite poor. Sometimes, when you speak to them, they understand only what they want to understand, and sometimes it’s completely different from what you actually said.

Beautiful, tranquil retreat. Private, amazing scenery from deck of jungle.

    8DeannePosted on: 6-12-2025

The room and the service was exceptional.

If you don't like eggs, breakfast menu is very limited. The place is absolutely beautiful, but a little too out of the way. Also had to ask for the breakfast menu each evening.

Loved the breakfast and the staff were great

The stairs to the room. I fell over and needed staff help with suitcase which they were happy to do. And the location wasn’t the best as it was 30-40min from Ubud central

The hotel is very nice, it is like a small oasis in the caos. The room was nice, the bed is comfy. There is mosquito net in the room. For breakfast we had many choices for main course. There was fruit juice, fruit plate, coffe/tea and the main course you could choose. The service/staff was very nice. Really good value for the price.

It is a bit far from ubud center, however they offer a shuttle service, for us it was a bit uncomfortable.

Loved the staff. Quiet spot, nice pool overlooking the rice field.

    10RowenPosted on: 4-19-2025

The room was beautifully decorated and the staff were helpful. We had a lovely tour with Surya, who took care of us along the way.

A bit out of the way from the main area but the accommodation and staff made up for it. Free shuttle bus helps getting you to the main areas.

We loved the architecture and the care to detail of the building. The pool was super convenient for the children and as we spent Nyepi (Silent day) there, it was a great addition to be able to have and be around. We enjoyed the rooms and the semi-open spatial arrangement, although it could be quite scary for people who are afraid of bugs, frogs and insects. We had fantastic 5 nights there.

We loved our villa with its private pool, although it was huge for a family of 5 and rather expansive for this purpose. We just used two of the rooms and never even went to the one below. It was a bit uncomfortable that we were separated from our children who would wake up in the middle of the night and be afraid from bugs (the end of rainy season) and make their way to us and wake us up but I suppose the purpose of the design is form separate couples rather than a big family with small children. We didn't enjoy the dinner which we had to order since we arrived late and were quite hungry . There's very little vegetarian options too.

A beautiful hotel, with a free shuttle into Ubud. We had breakfast and evening meal options and the food was fabulous. Very comfortable room and bed, with a gorgeous boutique bathroom. We stayed for 6 days and loved every minute. Staff so helpful and friendly.

True Bali feel, lounge area lovely, comfy beds, good water pressure. Great facilities great staff interaction

Too far out. Expensive for transport relative to Gojek. Service transport needs to extend out to 9.30. (6.30 return too early)

We recently had the pleasure of staying at one of Aryaswara Villa Ubud's stunning Balinese villa, and it was an unforgettable experience. The villa itself is beautifully appointed with traditional Balinese furnishings, creating an authentic and serene atmosphere. It features one large bedroom, one medium-sized bedroom, and one small bedroom, each with its own private bathroom and air conditioning. The open-air living, dining, and kitchen spaces were perfect for enjoying the tropical climate, and the private infinity pool was truly the center of attention. We couldn't get our grandson out of the pool! The staff members were incredibly attentive and provided exceptional service (a big thank you to Eddie and the rest of the wonderful staff members). They delivered breakfast to our villa each morning and they arranged private tours around Ubud, making us feel like part of their family.Overall, we absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend this villa for anyone looking for a luxurious and immersive Balinese experience.

Spacious bedrooms, great pool and views, staff are fantastic we loved the shuttle driver

A little far out from the centre of town

Stayed in Room 205, a detached villa. Lots of character, comfortable bed, outside space, short walk from pool. Staff excellent. Unfortunately we hit on a rainy season in December and it rained heavily during our stay but still had some sunshine. Worth checking likely weather out before booking.

We don't really mind cats but one ingratiated himself with us and it was an effort to keep out of the room. The bathroom in our room was open to the outside and while it certainly had character will not be to everyone's taste as fairly rugged - the cat also had access to the bathroom. Steps up to the particular villa were rough stones - characterful and OK for most but some of the steps were over one foot high. Walking from the villa was difficult due to lack of pavements and the busyness of the roads (a lot of two wheelers. Most outings were by car.

Staff were very nice and helpful.

Bath plug didn't seal properly. Was a bit far from the centre of Ubud.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. When we decided to leave the staff were very obliging and understanding.

The villa was not as described. We cleaned it on arrival. As soon as the sun went down bats were flying around inside the villa making downstairs unhabitable. The windows didn't shut all the way and the upstairs wall was open to the outside. There is a temple inside the villa, a stranger just walked on in and conducted their ceremony, didn't say a word, this was inside the villa. There was an ant nest inside one of the bathrooms. There is more, but by this stage we were packing to leave. They refunded the rest of stay with out a problem.

Very nice and genuine place, which we really enjoyed. The staff were great and super helpful.

The a la cart breakfast lacked alternatives for gluten intolerant persons and felt very repetitive in general.

This is the comment we have posted on Google, we are very grateful to everyone.Hello, we are a newly married Spanish couple. We are not very young and we have travel experience. It is the second time we are in Bali and with all the sincerity in the world I highly recommend this Villa. It is in a very good location to visit the areas of Ubud, there is peace, there is tranquility, they provide you with everything you ask for at the moment from staff services (which are immediate) to excursions like the one we did today in rafting and then a Balinese massage which honestly has been the best they have given me in my life (it is a simple example of what our day to day life is like). The breakfasts are brought to your room every morning and they make a lot of effort to make your stay perfect. The pool, the place, the staff, the food, the services, all impeccable. If you want to enjoy Bali I think it is the perfect place! Thanks to all the staff for making these days unforgettable for me and my wife, we will never forget these moments and of course when I return I will not hesitate to stay at Aryaswara Villa Ubud again, thank you all for these special moments. These people deserve it all! Thank you from the bottom of my heart from both of us.
